Keeping Personal Information Private
I'm just starting out as a dancer and want to keep as much of my real information private as I can. As much as I'm not *personally* ashamed or embarrassed to dance, I'm sure plenty of people in my "day life" would take it upon themselves to judge and be prejudiced against me because of my work.
Do I need to give out real information (SS#, etc) to management? (My state does not require a license to strip)
Is taping allowed inside many clubs? I'd like to avoid pictures/video if possible.
Any more privacy tips would be greatly appreciated!
Re: Keeping Personal Information Private
It's generally a rule that NO PHOTOS/VIDEOS are to be taken ITC of the dancer's etc. If you even have the slightest suspicion that someone is filming/photographing you from their cell phone then alert a bouncer (they can stop or warn the offender-I've also seen bouncers check phones/delete any pix they find).
As for whether or not you will need to give out your actual personal details depends on the club- some have contracts etc & some may just ask to see your ID as POA (the ladies working in the US will be able to help you out more with this question).
Re: Keeping Personal Information Private
Don't tell other girls anything personal either... some fucking skank at my club told one of my regulars Im married. Luckily for me he already knew, but I would love to tell her regular about her situation... but Im gonna be the bigger person.

Thanks BringOnTheMen. I was wondering if you actually *had* to take all those photos, but I'd rather not be on the site in any identifiable way.
Re: Keeping Personal Information Private
The most the clubs I've worked for have asked for is a copy of my ID and I've never encountered photographs in the club (although there was one instance where a girl thought a customer was taking some shots on his cell phone and our manager quickly dealt with that situation), so the amount of information you have to give really depends on the club, but the photo thing seems to be universal.
Re: Keeping Personal Information Private
The bigger, more well established clubs that have funny money will probably want your social security number (after all...they don't want to pay YOUR income taxes)
Re: Keeping Personal Information Private
Most of the clubs I've danced at required a valid ID AND a social security card so that you couldn't just write down a fake SSN...but not all of them...
