Got hired!
I am not really a newbie but it's been years since I danced. I finally got up the ovaries to go into the club I like and audition today. It's a mid-level gown/dress club in my area and I'm glad I got the job. I was a little shocked because they had an ad out for entertainers but when I showed up they had 16 girls on dayshift! That seemed like 10 too many but maybe that was just today (yeah, right). Anyways... the bad news is I start on Monday. I would have preferred to start today, tomorrow, or any time sooner than Monday. Since I'm looking and feeling good about stripping I'm wondering if I should go work somewhere this weekend. I am in Ohio, willing to drive a few hours to visit somewhere and strip. Any suggestions? Would anywhere even hire a girl just to work the weekend? Especially if she is just getting back into it and not some superstripper that has worked Vegas, NYC, etc...?
By the way I had a few other concerns.
They have a rule that you have to have 4 items minimum on... so thong, garter, gown and something else (not shoes). Many girls wear leg warmers but I wanted to do more pinup or classy look, but thigh-highs/garter sets look weird with a short dress on (let alone a gown). So... gloves? Then I can't really do pole work, right? If I did wear thigh highs and garter (old fashioned style) would I strip out of them? It's not a nude club so I could leave them on. I have a long green gown with an asymmetrical hem line and I have a short red dress with one sholder strap, tight with a short little flared out skirt on it. So gloves or stockings or ... leg/shoe warmers?
They didn't tell me the dance prices/fees/etc but said they would go over everything Monday. I am eager to dance and I don't think I can wait until Monday! We'll see!

Re: Got hired!
Wow, I have never heard of the 4 item rule. Leg warmers would really not go with a pin up look and garters/ stockings can be very sexy. The only problem might be making sure your outfits are in synch with the rest of your look, your look. You gave brief dress descriptions but not all stripper dresses look good with stockings/garters.

Re: Got hired!
Congrats!
I'm sure they will go over the 4 item rule a bit more in your orientation. I've never heard of that one! I love dancing in thigh highs and a garter belt, and no you don't take it off. Men love the sensuality of keeping it on.
