Cam Girl Drama...(My Advice...)
Jeez...I have been sick tonight so spent my time reading random cam girls twitters. These are some top girls on Streamate just having a blast with drama. Reporting other girls, trash talking other girls, just really NASTY things.
I have been seeing it more and more lately. All I have to say is WHY? I know that everywhere you go there will be drama. Shit, we all know that with out drama life would be boring lol.
I see other girls getting all fired up and ready to fight. Do people not realize how unprofessional and unattractive that appears? This is just my opinion on it. I have gotten some hateful things said about me. I just brushed it off and moved on.
Sooo here is my advice. I am just giving it to everyone in general. So please anyone who reads this do not think I am making attacks to you personal or whatever so be it.
Why waste your time on end in other models rooms. What is the point of taking screen shots if they are doing something wrong on the cam site you are on? Now, if it is something highly illegal than yeah report it.
If any of you follow the LOA (Law of Attraction) know that negative energy (going out to take screen shots of other models etc...) will bring you negative energy. By sitting there and attacking other models trying to destroy them will in the end bring you down. Plus remember Karma ladies...
Well, just remember the negative energy thing with everything in life.
I hope in the future I can see more positive posts and girls being more supportive or just following the "ignorance is bliss" approach towards other models (less drama...I hope this makes sense...)
Anywho, lets all get on our online corners and make some mother fucking money. hahahahaha!
Here is to a great weekend and week of camming! Hopefully less drama.
Re: Cam Girl Drama...(My Advice...)
I agree. Acting like that on a social network site makes you look like a trailer trash whore which may appeal to a few guys, it certainly won't make you a top girl. I couldn't give a shit less what any of them say about anything, I keep to myself and make that money!
Re: Cam Girl Drama...(My Advice...)
That is the way you have to be. I only look around sometimes if I am sick or something.
Another thing to add is if you were at a Vanilla job...I know NO ONE would be on twitter etc with their co workers trashing others and posting pictures of them. Sure this is the adult biz but still be professional.
Re: Cam Girl Drama...(My Advice...)
those girls don't realize that it is only hurting they're business in the long run. most guys get turned off by that catty drama. the guys who do like it just feed into it and make it worse, but those types truly don't have lives. but most of these guys just wanna escape reality and have fun, they don't wanna hear all this cam drama. i have seen some tweets from camgirls talking smack, not even about reporting other models but just making fun of them in general. that is soooo highschool, get over it! but i am proud to say that the SW ladies that i have on my twitter are some business woman for real. talking promo and just living they're camlives they're own way. they are in the zone and i never see any of them talk smack on other girls. i always see the tweets from random camgirls that just randomly follow me.
Re: Cam Girl Drama...(My Advice...)
Excellent post OP! Far too much drama going on.
I just delete and block the negative people leave them to their own bad karma:)

It is a shame when people can't stick together in the same cut-throat business.
Re: Cam Girl Drama...(My Advice...)
Agreed! I stay the hell away from bitchiness as much as I can - it does nothing to help make me money, so why would I involve myself?
Although - I would actually be kinda impressed if one of these "top girls" was hating on me. Free publicity...woot woot! LOL Only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about, right?
And just on a little side note - sad, frustrating and childish as it is, when I worked at a vanilla job (in the recruitment industry, for a GIANT company) there was a lot of this. This was before twitter really was mainstream, but there were enough e-mails, blogs and good old-fashioned network event bitching to make you sick. Same with modelling, aesthetics, and even the restaurant industry. Apparently in every industry, there are just people who feel the need to make other people feel small in order to feel big.
Re: Cam Girl Drama...(My Advice...)
I haven't seen any of this drama & plan not to haha, too much bad energy I like positive energy. :D
Re: Cam Girl Drama...(My Advice...)
I wish I know what exactly this is about..
who said what....:P
Re: Cam Girl Drama...(My Advice...)
I don't believe in Karma, but I do fully agree with everything you say. I don't see how they can even get customers after the crap they pull.
Re: Cam Girl Drama...(My Advice...)
And this is why on cam i dont even bring up other models. If i do its nothing rude or mean actually its prob when a customer brings them up and i completment them an continue on... but dont wanna make a custie feel ur drama they dont like it
Re: Cam Girl Drama...(My Advice...)
Its hard enough in this job when your starting out and have no one to ask questions or turn too but it gets worse the longer your in it so it seems. People trying to talk crap about each other.......stick together.......work together.......united we are stronger than any individual.
Xx
Re: Cam Girl Drama...(My Advice...)
Well, the holidays are quickly approaching so that may be the case...Another reason could be jealousy....any way u look at it, its a huge waste of time...and every cam girl definitely knows, TIME IS MONEY lol!

The ONLY time I have ever brought up another girl on cam has been for one of two reasons:
1. Custy says something like "so-and-so will do this, so why won't you?". In which case I will say "because I am not so-and-so. This is what I do, and if you want to see so-and-so, go to her room. Go nuts." Even in this scenario, I won't say anything negative or bad about what the other girl is supposedly doing, I'll just politely make it clear that that is not me.
2. Once I had a guy come into my room because he is a fan of Isobel's, and she re-tweeted a tweet of mine about going on cam. He came in and said something like "I'm here because Isobel mentioned you, and she was right, you are so hot! She is so hot too! You are both great!" in which case I said something to the effect of "yup, she's incredible! I'm so glad that she told you about me - she's such a sweetie!" And then we moved on to talking about other stuff.
I can't see any other reason to talk about other girls....(btw Isobel - thanks! ;D)
Re: Cam Girl Drama...(My Advice...)
^^ Agree to all.
Back
off
the
drama
I assume, since we're all working on cam sites, that we're all at least 18. Time to grow the f*** up.
Thank god I don't even use Twitter. Funny, I actually spent a few minutes looking on there tonight because I was curious about who was involved, didn't see any drama in the 15 minutes I spent looking, then asked myself "why are you wasting time looking for this sh*t anyway" and closed the page. I wasted 15 minutes of my life. End of story.
Re: Cam Girl Drama...(My Advice...)
it is to everyones benefit to have a large variety of ladies - that keeps the customers interested and coming back to the site - there are plenty of pervs to go around - if your taking care of your own business you dont have time to worry about someone elses -
Re: Cam Girl Drama...(My Advice...)
I don't believe in karma at all, but I definitely believe in six degrees of separation.
What you say in a moment of petty anger get archived for all the world to see and will exist until the death-rattle of the internet. Project like 'The Wayback Machine' makes is possible to read the content of websites long gone.
And that shit can come back to bite you in the ass long after you have forgotten what the drama was all about in the first place.
Re: Cam Girl Drama...(My Advice...)
Re drama, I'm right there with you! No publicity is bad publicity and I think it's stupid to give someone you hate publicity by talking about her. If someone is negative to me I just ignore them. Once a girl started openly lying about me on twitter and daring me to set her straight. At that point, I knew if I ignored it I'd look like I was saying her lies were true so I responded politely, telling the real versions of her stories and politely but firmly told her I didn't appreciate her spreading lies and that I wouldn't participate in her drama any more. Then I blocked her. Apparently she said one or two things about me after that but I'd blocked her so I didn't see.
Re taking pics of other models doing things that are against the rules. I totally do that. I take a screencap and report them. A flash for tips? Who cares? But sucking dick, giving free shows, I'm reporting that. There have been numerous threads about the issue or reporting and I know my position isn't a popular one so I'm not going to go over it again here but if I see a blatant violation of the rules I'm reporting it. I know it doesn't do much but I think it contributes to the decline of the community, so to speak. More girls giving freebees, more guys expecting them, fewer guys willing to pay, all our money goes down. It's like painting over graffiti in "bad" neighborhoods and fixing broken windows. It's not going to stop everything immediately, but it's been proven to keep things from deteriorating more and improves the quality of life.
Also, I pretty much never go look in other girls rooms. If you tweet that you're on I'll go check to make sure you're still on before I retweet you. I've never seen a girl I'm following on twitter doing something wrong so that's something for us to be proud of. When I first join a new site I'll buy a show with a girl so that I can see the member interface so that I can tell the guys how to tip or get shows or turn on the phone thing but otherwise I'm busy making my own money. So it's very rare that I'll be browsing the front couple pages of the site, but if I'm on there and I see something you bet I'll say something.
@ManyRoses YAY! I'm so glad my rt got someone into your site! LOL, and I love seeing those 20% cammodels stack up in my paycheck!

Or what happens sometimes is you'll bring up another model (such as a model friend or whatever), and the lurkers who were too rude to say hi are suddenly raving about how such and such is their favorite model and blah, blah, blah...yet they STILL haven't said hi to you in your own room. SMH.
The other day on MFC, I said something to this guy who comes to my room and says "Sup fox,".....then comments about something he just dealt with in another model's room.....and then he leaves. *rolls eyes*
Some people seem to think this is Cheers, and I'm Sam Malone working at the bar. Come to MY room and vent to me about your problems with women or whatever (while you're NOT tipping me).....lol.
I got a bit off-topic, but yeah, I wish people would stop being so nasty to each other during the holidays also. The holidays sometimes bring out the nastiness in some people. I don't know if they're stressed out about money issues or what, but all that 'Christmas is about family and togetherness and etc.' stuff you hear on t.v.....it'd be nice if more people were like that in real life. LOL.
Happy Black Friday, ladies! Don't forget that it's Follow Fridays on Twitter, so be sure to give shout-outs to your favorite cam girls/cam girl buddies! :)
