Re: Tips for healthy eating?
Hi! It sounds like you need to start with small changes so you don't get overwhelmed. Start by adding fruits and vegetables to your diet. Put some bananas on your kitchen counter!
I eat clean, but allow myself treats whenever I want. I have found if I nurish myself properly, I hardly ever crave junk. Two of my favorite, easy meals are as follows
Breakfast smoothie- yogurt, almond milk, ice, plus a variety of other ingridients, frozen bannana, peanut butter and strawberries. Or sometimes I'll do the yogurt, milk, ice, raw egg, spinach, tomatoe, bannana, walnuts, sounds funky, but very filling and makes me feel great. Always make extra, leave in freezer for a snack.
Dinner- veggie goulosh, ground beef fried in skillet, onion and garlic for flavor, add cabbage, diced potatoes, mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes, top with sour cream.. also great leftovers.
When I shop I try not to buy junk, so I won't eat junk. I hope this helps. It takes time to developed new habits.
