Since I've been dancing I've always just worked Friday and Saturday nights, where it's really busy and generally a party vibe. I've never really had to hustle and generally just relied on my looks (young, petite, tanned, blonde) to appeal to this crowd often making $1000 purely on the 'let's get me naked' quick hustle. I always do well with the younger, party crowd or young business men with customers either asking me for dances or being able to get dances from just asking them without actually having to hustle.
Last Sunday however I worked my first weeknight and kind of realised I have no idea how to hustle, especially older customers. I have no idea what to say to older customers and had lots of awkward pauses in the conversation. I can't seem to make it realistic that I want to spend time with them and struggle to gets dances when the customers want to spend time talking and I can't just rely on my looks.
I work in a club with a hard hustle and when it's quiet I can't compete. I have no problems on weekends with a quick hustle but struggle with weekdays when I have to spend more time talking.
What do you girls say to avoid awkward conversations when you're required to do more than the quick hustle? How do you appeal to older customers if you have a young look and could be their daughter/grand daughter? Any help would be great as I'd love to work more weekdays.
