Info about New Deja Vu @ Hollywood & Vine?
Has anyone been here yet? They opened pretty recently. I know it's where Cave/Hollywood Cabaret used to be. I read on tuscl that it's tiny inside and that they did some updates but it's still kinda jank inside (though I never actually went inside Cave so I don't know what it was like before). I'm just curious if they're actually getting much traffic, what the quality of clientele is like, and how the staff is toward dancers/customers. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

wow, I wondered when the cave would go under. I never went in there either. I got as far as the front desk, and couldn't go through with it. something just wasn't right. I decided to trust my intuition, and hightailed it out of there.

Cave closed down a while ago. The place looked pretty sketch from outside, even. It seems like it'd get a decent amount of foot traffic from tourism and drunken club/bar goers, but I don't think there's parking. Maybe I'll get up the nerve (and time) to actually pop in and check it out...

I dance at NoHo and as a favor to my manager one night, I went over to that club to work because they needed some girls. It was slow as fuck (but it was a Tuesday night). I think the club has some real potential. It's in an amazing amazing location and there's no doubt in my mind that on a Friday after 2am it'll be bangin'.
Since I'm contracted there now I was considering giving it a few more chances because of the potential but I'm way too up in the Hollywood scene to risk it.
Also, because it's new, the girls weren't Deja Vu's finest. If you're hot, you'll make all your money off looks alone.
I hated the dance booths...they aren't private and pretty much outline the perimeter of the room.
The smoking area is a small room with no ventilation. Ick.
Dressing rooms weren't too awful...it was actually fairly large and open, but not a ton of mirror space. & there was only one bathroom with a door that got stuck when you shut it all the way.
-As for clientele, expect what you always see on Hollywood Blvd. It's not going to be a club that business men will frequent.
