My logitech software is all whack
I was having problems with the video feed for a few days and wasn't sure what was wrong. My cam would freeze up and sometimes it would just look blank. I weighed out all options and thought maybe my Logitech 9000 wasn't working properly. I've has the camera for a few years now. I found out my encoder wasn't updated and that was the problem but I was checking out my webcam settings to see if there was anything I could do. I ended up right clicking on the logitech software and not sure what I was doing, I clicked 'Run as Administrator'. Once I clicked that it changed all my settings on my computer and everything on my computer because overly large when the logitech software loaded. I wasn't able to function on the computer cause it was so large. I was able to exit out of the program and as soon as I exited out of logitech, everything went normal size again. I'm able to use the webcam but anytime I ever click the logitech icon, everything gets huge until I close out of it. Hope this makes sense, but does anyone know how I could change this?
Re: My logitech software is all whack
What operating system do you use? What are your system specs? Desktop or Laptop?
Re: My logitech software is all whack
I use windows 7 on an HP Pavillion DV6 intel 2 duo core processor on a laptop.
Re: My logitech software is all whack
You could try reinstalling the drivers of the webcam, as well as the graphic drivers. TBH that's all there is on my mind :/
Re: My logitech software is all whack
I have had this same friggin prob and cannot figure it outtt grr. So glad u asked.
Re: My logitech software is all whack
I uninstalled logitech then reinstalled it but no luck. =( Hope I can figure this out. It doesn't affect my camming at all, I just have to remember to never click on the logitech icon unless I know how to fix this.
Re: My logitech software is all whack
Can u take a print screen of what ur experiencing?
Im using Logitech 9000 for a long time, never had a problem and if I do , I fix it relatively quickly.
Re: My logitech software is all whack
When I've had issues with my webcam (Logitech HD C910), I've gone into my Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs/Uninstall Logitech software. Then I would re-install it.
I know it sounds kinda silly, but sometimes that works.
Re: My logitech software is all whack
Yeah, then again (correct me if I'm wrong), I don't see how the webcam drivers can cause conflict with the GPU drivers.
Try to uninstall and reinstall the webcam drivers and update Adobe Flash, as well as your video drivers.
