Does anyone know of virtualsexwork.com?
I saw their ad on sexyjobs (one of the top ads on the site) and sexyjobs has always been legit for me.
Anyone ever heard of this? Its a sex themed video game where you create an avatar and work the virtual Red Light District in Amstradam. You work brothels, the streets, show case rooms and ''Johns" aka customers choose which prostitute they want and when your avatar gets selected, you will allow your avatar to have sex with them and you will also loan your voice into the game. Its pretty much phone sex but in the idea of a virtual game.
I wanted to sign up but there is one thing about it that seems kinda shady. The site doesn't take a percentage like all other cam sites do. The only requirement is that all performers have to subscribe and its $20 a month to subscribe. I think you need to subscribe first and then start playing/making money. They say you'll earn $10-$40 an hour. Has anyone actually signed up for this?
Re: Does anyone know of virtualsexwork.com?
I used to work that. I hate it now. It's a huge waste of time and yes you have to subscribe and the owner of the site is a real shady character.
If you want to do virtual escorting I suggest Second Life. Virtualsexwork.com is one of the many website names for Red Light Center and it's always been a SL wannabe in my opinion.
Re: Does anyone know of virtualsexwork.com?
I've worked there and I had the exact opposite experience. The owner, or whoever it was that contacted me thru my sexyjobs resume, answered all my questions and wasn't shady at all. It's possible they have lots of different people answering questions and some are better than others though.
I work on both Second Life and Red Light Center, and do quite well on them both. The trick is not to see them as competing services were you should do one or the other. The customer base on each is different. On Second Life you'll find younger, tech-savvy guys, but on RLC you'll get older guys that can't figure out how SL works. On Red Light Center the guys can just sign up and they're ready to go, but on SL the learning curve is so high (they don't even start with a penis, for God's sake!) and the 50+ year old guys, who have the big money to spend, can't figure it out.
So do both! I have two computer monitors and run both at the same time, and then I just log off one when I get a customer on the other. It's easy and it doubles the amount of business you get per night.

I have a friend who loves it. You sell your credits or some shit. Sounded like too much work for me.

HOW do you get shows on SL??? When it first came out (Before it became popular and right after it became popular with camgirls) I tried to use this to make money and could not for the life of me manage to get shows.
Much less even figure out how to use it properly

It works pretty much like webcam sites that use tokens or credits. The guys pay you in credits, then you cash it in for real money and Red Light Center mails you a check. The only difference is that you have to actually go to the website and request a check manually, but it's not a big deal. I do it once a week and it only takes a couple of minutes.

That's exactly what Red Light Center is good for! It's easy to use. You don't have to buy animations, sex balls, body parts and all that crap. You just log in and get to work. SL is hard to get used to if you're new to the concept.
On SL I get shows by buying ad space anywhere I can, and just hanging out and networking. You have to work at it and invest some time and money. My advice would be to forget about working there, and just talk a few days to play around and get used to how everything works. You won't be able to make money until you can get around SL like an expert.

I've been interested in signing up to Second Life because I found the graphics very pretty and game interesting lol. I didn't actually know it was a virtual escort service. I'm definitely going to use that in the future ;D
