Re: Amazon WishList Scam???
there a few blacklists online and on FetLife, it may help to screen those who offering to clear out your wishlist and publicly blacklist those who are full of it.
But my suggestion would be Amazon giftcards, those cannot be refunded once bought.... and if he is serious, it shouldnt matter if he bought it off of your wishlist or gave you an equal value of the item and sent it to you. If a "moneyslave" gives you a hard time about this, he isnt worth it.
Basically he may have cut and ran.
Re: Amazon WishList Scam???
Like any item, they can be "purchased" on your end but they actually go through a wait period for the cc to be verified and for the shipping order to be confirmed, etc and he has the option of canceling at any time in that window. Many guys do this. In a vanilla case, girl exchanges a camshow for a wishlist item.
She waits for him to buy her item, then does the show. Guy waits and then turns around and cancels it, scamming her out of her show.
It'd wait another day, if it isn't confirmed by then he probably scammed you.
Next time drain him through other means, giftcards, moneypak, etc.

I've gotten into 'Findom' (financial domination) and a ''money slave'' of mine bought several items from my wishlist.
They show up as 'purchased' and everything. It sounded way too good to be true so I called Amazon.
Two reps told me that the items hadn't been bought BUT then they transferred me to a 'Wishlist Specialist' who ''has special insight to the WishList function'' and she assured me that these items had actually been bought.
I have not been in contact with my customer and I have a feeling he's a flake, but why would he buy $1000 worth of items and disappear?
Is there a way you can make it look like you bought an item without buying it?
Also..do you recieve an email notification when someone bought you an item?? Again...all of these items show up as PURCHASED on my Wishlist...I'm just a little confused.
Customers can easily cancel the item at any time. I know several girls have had "slaves" buy them stuff off their wishlist, only to never receive the items. It will show "purchased", but it never shipped because the customer cancelled the order.

Yes, there is a way to fake it. I don't know how its done but it happens. There was a customer who tried this on myself and many other girls. The items show up on your purchased list, but he never actually bought them and of course the gifts never come. Beware of scammers! This guy was trying to get cam shows for the fake purchases. ::) He finds girls off of twitter, and keeps changing his name when girls call him out.
Re: Amazon WishList Scam???
Ughhh! I'm so pissed, but in the back of my head I felt like it was too good to be true. I'm usually so much smarter than this.
I googled his email last night ''losercuck08' and he has definitely done the same thing to other girls.
I started to get suspicious when I got the forwarded confirmation emails from Amazon but the capitalization was off. UGH!
I hate cheap asses like that. I didn't put on a big show or anything but I definitely spent wayy too much time chatting with his stupid ass.
If you're broke, you're broke..don't lie about it. That's the shit I hate!
Re: Amazon WishList Scam???
I try to screen most of my newbs for just that reason. Normally if you google their name, you'll find out real quick if they've pissed another Domme off and what for.
As far as accepting purchases for a session, I only do that with subs who I've played with on a regular basis. Doesn't mean I don't get burned every once in a while, but there's risks associated with everything.

i would only take amazon e gift cards, as i shop a lot on there anyway, and as soon it arrives in email you apply it to your account before the show begins, takes a second, and i don't think it can be charged back. Right?
Right. No charge back, goes instantly to your email, and you can confirm and add it to your account before the show ever starts.
Re: Amazon WishList Scam???
I personally have an amazon wishlist as well but because of some things ive read on here and on other sites, i've made the little rule of where i only accpect amazon giftcards. They come automatically and i put the code in to make sure its legit and there's no way they can take it back. In this line of work nobody wants to be taken advantage of.
Re: Amazon WishList Scam???
I had a guy try to scam my wishlists as well he sent a screen shot to me n everything thank god it seemed to good to be true cause I saw his MSN up n just looked so unprofessional I didn't do a shoe I don't have my wishlists on my site due to that reason my regs know my wishlists info but I don't have it on my site for that reason if they want to buy me a gift ill show my thankfulness but my job on camming isny for material things its to pay my bills so with that said I promote money not things I cam for my kids not for myself

This seems to be the case on ImLive, according to what girls say in the host forums.
Besides, you can't really take guys seriously when they come up with weird screen names like aewyipshfsd666...lmao. I would think that if you plan on joining a site as a regular member and spending, you'd at least give yourself a decent screen name. :P
Re: Amazon WishList Scam???
As with 'purchased items,' I'd be wary of the Amazon giftcards as well. Here's why...
A guy who was recommended by a somewhat established camgirl was looking for custom videos. He and I got in touch and he said he'd rather pay in Amazon GCs, so I said fine. Note: this would have been the first time I've ever received one. He sent it and I made the video (complete with his name on my body in lipstick so there was no way in hell I could resell it). Since I didn't really need anything from Amazon at the time, I waited a few days to try it out. In the meantime, the guy complained that I didn't include like one thing in the video as per his ridiculous vain requests and that it wasn't "long enough." I told him to go fuck himself because he basically wanted me to re-shoot the whole video over again even though it took me hours to get the red lipstick off my body and my fiance at the time wasn't exactly thrilled that I've been "marked" like a fire hydrant. I go to test out the Amazon GC after that happened and lo and behold...it's a fake. He copied and pasted the format of a GC email, modified a few things, took out a few of the characters from the GC number and sent it to me.
So ladies, look at where the GC is sent from. If it's not from [email protected], block the dude immediately.
Re: Amazon WishList Scam???
Ouch, rookie mistake. Sorry that happened.
^^^Always apply the gift card to your account before you do anything. Amazon Gift card balances never expire, they will hold the $$ with no fees forever. There is no reason not to add them to your account the second you get them.
Re: Amazon WishList Scam???
Oh, trust me...I've learned from my mistake. :)

I've been fortunate to never have this happen to me because I always debit the card amount into my account the minute I get it, and refuse to start a session until the card is received. A few days ago a regular swore he sent the G/C, but I didn't receive it after 5-10 mins & it wasn't in my spam folder. I told him to resend, and he refused, so I just let him sit there thinking that I couldn't log into his account making him restart his comp ^_~
Re: Amazon WishList Scam???
Items bought from wishlists can ALWAYS be cancelled if the item has not shipped yet. I do not let ANY boys buy from my wishlist when they tribute for the first time.
