Anyone got advice for people with popcorn walls?

I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for inexpensive tapestries or large wall hangings? looking for something cloth so I can easily hang it without damaging a rental's walls. The biggest issues i'm running into are that many tapestries can be very busy color or design wise (e.g. mandalas & tie dye don't really match my camming aesthetic) and I need one preferably over 80in wide. I'm going to have a couch covering roughly 3 feet of the bottom portion (floor up the wall) and roughly 6ft across (length of my camming couch), so having a design that can be cut off and not look choppy or confusing with a chunk missing would be awesome.
Any suggestions?
Since I was looking for a way to not ruin my apartament with renovations, I came across this idea, seeing it at another model. Canvas room divider https://www.amazon.com/s?k=canvas+ro...b_sb_ss_i_1_27
or here: https://www.roomdividers.com/materials-canvas.html (i know you don't want something busy looking, this site gives the option to go with a personalized print/ choose simple color, if you want)
There you go :))))
I like those new style canvas room dividers, because are coming in all kind of designs!! And basically, you're folding it and you can cam from everywhere. If they are not wide enough, even tho, some can go in 8 panels lengh, you can always buy 2 and put them togheter.
I hope it helps and also, maybe you find a local site with more options, if you like the idea of room dividers.
Bumping this thread :)
Lol i still haven't decorated that cam room. ugh! Wish I could throw like $100 at someone and have them do it for me.
Not exactly decor, but I did put up some removable hooks in my regular cam room just out of view of the cam that store all of the spare cords for my phones, tablet, tip vibes, & other wireless gear. It has been a HUGE life saver so far as organization, was super easy to put up, and I no longer scramble to find chargers for various items! I used these, as they are a bit bigger and can hold multiple cords with ease.
Older post but I’ll still reply. Maybe something like cd towers, or a bookcase (maybe put things like a couple pairs of sexy heels, toys etc on it), or a tall long mirror to lean against the wall. Tall things to kill the vertical space, like those palm tree type plants or a floor lamp. Side table with something large on it (statue/figure/plant or tall table lamp). Large fancy headboards (I’ve seen on sites you can order just a headboard and attach it). See if 3M removable hooks work on popcorn and maybe hang something on the lighter side like a macrame piece. :)Quote:

I just got myself (actually a few months ago, but I didn't use it yet) a canvas room divider. Now I finally reorganized the bedroom (who knew that moving the dresser and turning it around on the opposite wall, will make my bedroom so much bigger!!) and I have a bigger corner where I'll place the room divider and I will buy an elegant sofa chair+ an elegant nightstand and that's gonna be my corner, till I'll have a proper work room (hoping to move in a bigger home soon). I ain't got no mood to find a way to cover the radiator pipes, or paint the walls, or put paintings or whatever, to make it look nice. The room divider was a convenient and perfect option and it's perfect to cam in any kind of odd, old or dated space. The price was around $200, because it's pretty high quality.
I got something simmilar to this (for those who need ideas). There are room dividers with 3 or 5 panels. I have a 5 panel one, like the one in the first picture and it's pretty big, enough to cover a corner. If you need some extra, or the model you like it's only with 3 panels, you can always buy 2 and stick em togheter:

I still can't find a set up that allows for me to be in a desk chair MOST of the time with a stationary desk. I'm giving up. I think I need 2 set ups - one for when I'm editing videos/admin work and 1 for when I'm doing shows/streaming. I seriously can't find one that works for both. Bedroom set ups really hurt my back. Plus being on a bed for a long time gives me rug burn on my elbows and knees :(.
I work with a desk and a boudoir chest on wheels. I have one room that I use both for camshows and gaming. One wall is decorated for Camming and then the other is for Twitch. Because everything is on wheels I can change the angles all at once. You can try this out when going from freechat to a paid show. Articulated camera mounts are great too! You just move the camera.
I am legit in the process of doing this right now!
Half of my cam room is painted black, the other half I still need to paint cream colored.
Dark side of the room: Black walls/bedding/pink accent light - DSLR cam ONLY because my C922 HATES all the black. No softboxes - mood lighting x1000 LOL
Light Side of the room: I still need to paint 2 walls white - window open for natural light during day and i bought a Serta futon in light grey (will be here Saturday!), white dresser, accent blanket in white - blue or red accent pillows/lights depending on mood - a few plants... nice side table and tall white dresser. Can use C922 on that side :)1 soft box.
I cannot WAIT to get the other half set up!
50" TV, laptop and extra key-lighting on slide-able desk so I just need to slide the desk where I need it!
I found it on a local store, here in Europe, but here's an US link, that maybe helps https://www.wayfair.com/furniture/sb...29~165772.html
I'm so glad you shared this link. I've been looking for something to put in the garden and this would be perfect. I just wonder if this can be weather treated? I think it would look really nice as a doorway.

I would love to do this with mine! But my room is 3m x 3m and tiny :( i got rid of the bed for more video filming space. Currently one wall is dark blue/black as i ran out of paint and I'm trying to decide wether to keep the other wall light or go ahead and do that the same colour. I can switch things around for filming as my entire set up is now on a stand on wheels! But i will be camming from my new desktop which is staying put in one place so i dunno what to do really. I have no plants or homely touches now just practical lighting for the bokeh effect. I wish our rooms were as big as in your US houses!!!!!
The most helpful change ive made so far for cam room stuff is getting coloured lighting. I got a coloured bulb from Amazon which has the option of normal lighting too so you can have the best of both worlds, it helps make pictures more interesting imo. Then the other day I brought strap lighting from Amazon, would include link but it won't let me, they were £17.
I don't know how good they are for rental properties etc but it's nothing a paint job won't cover when you do take them off. They're so effective in both night lighting and day lighting, super easy to set up and can be put anywhere. Included some of my rubbish more SFW pics for reference.
Something else small that can make a big impact is bedding that compliments image you want to portray and a feature wall.
