Re: What names fit my 'look'? Please Help!!
^ The second time around stripping, I changed my name from "Charlie" to something much more girl-next-door-ish. I haven't gotten one question about whether or not it's my real name....and people would ask me ALL of the time when my name was Charlie.
Just sayin'. It's definitely something worth considering. When you give someone a name that sounds like it COULD be your real name, you're establishing more camaraderie with them than you are by giving them a name that's obviously fake. This is the case even if they never ask you for your real name. It just makes sense. If you asked a customer's name and he said "Fabio," you'd have a different reaction than if they said "Joe."
Re: What names fit my 'look'? Please Help!!
what happned to margaret or yolanda??? and more importnatly why are my suggestions being ignored
Re: What names fit my 'look'? Please Help!!
^ Maybe the OP doesn't like your suggestions and shes politely not saying anything?
Try finding a celebrity with similar characteristics as your own and choose a name from amongst them. Get a baby name list.
Also, pick a fake real name to tell the customers when they ask for your real name- which they will no matter what you name yourself. (Margaret is my fake real name for anyone who asks).
What name did you choose anyway?
Re: What names fit my 'look'? Please Help!!
I kinda like Gabrielle cause that's Lestat's mom's name :D

Yes, I understand your perspective, which you have voiced several times.
I'm merely voicing mine.
Just sayin', I went from Eden to Britta to Meghan, and I still got asked all the same "name-related" questions. I'm glad that those irritating questions stopped for you when you changed your name to something more realisitc, but that doesn't mean it's the same way for everyone.
If a stripper-y sounding name makes you feel sexier and helps you don that 'club-persona' moreso than a 'real-sounding' name would, go for it. Feeling sexy and confidant has always made me more money in the long run.
BTW - Many guys still thought that Meghan was a stripper name. To some men, EVERY name is a stripper name.
Re: What names fit my 'look'? Please Help!!
ohh i love the name skye!
Re: What names fit my 'look'? Please Help!!
You sound like a Meghan, an Angelina or a Skyla to me. Meghan sounds like a sexy dark-haired "girl next door," Angelina sounds very sultry and sophisticated..someone who wears a lot of black lace. Skyla sounds like a cute stripper name :) but with this one you're askin for it. i.e."...come on, whats your reeeaaaaaal name?"
Re: What names fit my 'look'? Please Help!!
