alright, i'm coming in late too :). starting at $1000.
I've been a cheap-ass this year trying to save my 10 grand.
I hope it pays off because at home pedicures aren't as relaxing as going to a nail salon lol.
I just finished going over my end of second quarter cap gains, dividends and interest ... and I rolled the $10,000 mark for the third time ( thanks mostly to a falling Euro 'bet' and rising agricultural commodity prices )
The 'moral of the story' of course is that exerting financial discipline to minimize spending and maximize savings NOW, while you are still able to earn good money from dancing and / or camming, will pay major dividends ( and cap gains, and interest ) later when you're ready to retire from dancing and / or camming.
I had saved up 5000$ at 2 times but I moved and all go away really quick
Starting at 1000
Woohoo! I hit $20,000!!
Joining the thread. Got $4500 saved since june (when I came back from my break to finish college). Hoping to have 10k by november in my savings, but will probably be going to my breast implant revision/liposuction.
An investment I guess!! And my goal for next year is 24k in savings. 2k a month. So about half of my income from dancing if I work twice a week.
Hopefully I'll be making money with my real estate license too but we shall see... I'm new and the market is slow so my goal for that is to close on one house a month. Its a lot of work to list a house and show it and hope someone wants to buy it!! Or take buyers on 20 million house showings and hope they want to buy one of them. Then in the end hope the closing process goes smoothly. So that's my goal for my first year of real estate.
My savings are all gone after my amazing trip. So worth it! I wont be able to save for a while now... tuition, tax bills, etc. But keep up the good work ladies! I hope to join the club again in the new year. This time I think Ill be saving for a nest egg and a nose job. shhhhh I havent told hubby haha
I haven't really been very active in this thread but I have been committed to the task...and I just realized the year is coming to an end...:) I dont think I will get to £10 000 in the end but according to the exchange rates at least I am just a grand away from 10 000 USD now...yey! Next year will be easier for sure bc it is expensive to get settled in a new country...excited about December now, it should be good and hope to make a few grand to get closer to the £10 000!
I'm surprised at myself for making it! I spent all the cash I made in the first half of the year on traveling, but I've been good with the money I've been earning since mid-September. Well, good enough apparently since I've saved just over 10K and still have another 7 days of work before I'm done for 2012. I'm hopeful that I'll be able to get 2-3K more. I'm starting a full-time office job in January, so I'll only be able to dance on Saturday day shift, which isn't bad but certainly won't put me in the 10K club quickly next year!
