100% ridiculous ... but also 100% political !
The future will be Orwellian.
So do you want to abrogate elections and the opinion of their constituents, and replace it with your own?
people that full of hate are always trying to avoid dealing with their own self-loathing
I agree he's nuts. However, I believe (and most of my Trans friends do too) that you use the room which corresponds to your genitalia in any event (locker room, urinal) where others (or kids) might see it. If you're a trans female and have completed the process, go for it! But if you're still hanging the old equipment, don't freak everyone out by showing up in the "new" locker room before your gear has fully arrived. Too much chance someone will be uncomfortable/think you a freak trying to get a cheap peek/whatever.
Sadly enough, it seems the majority of the population is ignorant when it comes to the LGBT community, especially the Transgender part. This politician is an asshole and an idiot for making a comment like this when it's almost certain it would end up in the press, but he's far from a minority.
Floyd told the Chattanooga Times Free Press that if a man tried to enter a dressing room while his wife or daughters were trying on clothes, he would “just try to stomp a mudhole in him and then stomp him dry.”
Now I'm not one to back hateful politicians....or politicians in general....but it seemed to me like the article might have twisted his words just a tad here. From what I understood from it he was saying how he would whoop some man's ass for going into the ladys dressing room while his family was changing in there.....which is completely understandable....what father/husband wouldn't?
“Now if somebody thinks he’s a woman and he’s a man and wants to try on women’s clothes, let him take them into the men’s bathroom or dressing room,” Floyd said.
I don't really see how his stomping comment was directed towards the Transgendered community.....were his words insensitive? Yes....Ignorant.....A BIG yes....but hateful towards the LGBT comminuty? ....mmmmm....idk scoob :S
Oh what in tarnation shut up Floyd ya' ol fuss-bucket you ain't gonna do diddly squat.
Yes, but there is also no reason for making such hateful or violent statements. Trans people already have a hard time enough in both the straight & gay community. It seems to me that trans people are only appreciated when their doing a drag show & other than that they can fuck off (it's so wrong!!!). It makes me sad. :'(
Because it incites violence against a community that already has a hard time from both the gays & the straights. a changing room is a changing room. Individual stalls -no one is viewing each other (much less the transsexual who could give a flying fuck). They were incredibly hateful -I feel that any of us in the gay community can see that.
Thank you, roast! xo :-*
Actually, I'll clarify by saying I have always felt omnisexual. Gender -whether it be boy, girl, trans or orientation does not matter to me. All I really want is that sexy person that I'm attracted to. So there, I've outed myself -this is why stuff like this important to me!
