Picnik Going Away
Well, Picnik is currently circling the drain and will be gone for good in April. I have used them forever to resize, crop, make collages, and use their goofy stickers and borders to make posters for ads. Is there anything out there comparable in features and simplicity for photo editing?

Re: Picnik Going Away
Oh really? Damn :( I love editing photos there every once in a while. They have some really cool filters.

Re: Picnik Going Away
I use fotoflexer, the only downside to that is resizing :(

Re: Picnik Going Away
Picasa!
My whole life revolves around this program:
# take screenshots with just one click (automatically saves a bmp file which u can then crop within the program and save as a jpg)
# collages
# export to re-size, also can add a small watermark while doing that
# take snapshots from video files u just recorded with the logitech software
# email said snapshots to your twitpic email address with the tweet in subject line directly from Picasa before going online at SM (#liveonstreamate and all that shizz to have @streamate retweet u)
the list could go on....

Re: Picnik Going Away
Have you considered using adobe photoshop? You can download a version from Pirate bay or some other torrent site...not that you would because that would be illegal...and no-one would do that...

Re: Picnik Going Away
I've always used photobucket.
However all these sites will be gone for good sooner rather than later because of SOPA/ PIPA, so don't rely on any of them. Make backups of everything.

Re: Picnik Going Away
I've used the free online photoshop express editor and that worked pretty good, but nothing looks like it is going to compare to picnik.
Seriously, I'm devastated that picnik is closing :(

Re: Picnik Going Away
...hadn't known about picnik. Luckily my roommate's an artist, so I get all Photoshop versions by default. http://tinyurl.com/bannertools is a nice banner creation tool. The .gif downloads are free but flash cost points. I've used it to make cool twitter and facebook backgrounds too. They also have nice wysiwyg slideshow maker tools, like picnik.
