I do crazy polework. I can actually stay up there for an entire set (12) mins. doing all sorts of transitions and shit without touching the ground once, no kidding, I am freakin' awesome on the pole(just saying this to make my point). I can tell you with certainty that it really doesn't make a difference. While poletricks are something that everyone might enjoy watching, generally, people don't tip you more because of them. You might encounter a few customers here and there who will spend a crapload of money because of poletricks, but is is rather inconsistent. Most customers might applaud, or give you tons of compliments, but both of those things aren't going to pay the bills.
In my opinion, two things that generate the most money on stage are: 1. someone who has impeccable rythm and moves in a way that flatters her body. 2. Flexibility.
