i usually listen to club/dance radio on pandora. it's very much the "party music" and keeps me pumped when i am online. and i think the guys enjoy it too cuz it feels like they are walking into a party atmosphere and i even had guys that would comment on the songs in a good way. i always had good experiences with that type of music.
I seem to make more with no music at all.
Industrial, Rock....Usually just throw on some Thrill Kill Kult on loop...I keep it low so only I can really hear it...the guys seem to prefer it that way.
Plus when I go into somebody's room I would rather not have my ears pummeled by loud, booming, warped out music so I understand.
Depends on whether or not I'm dancing. Dance music (for me) has to be upbeat; I'm horrible at dancing to slower songs. I'm working on putting together a mix of everything; some classic rock, some techno, a tiny bit of R&B (I only like a small handful of songs), mash-ups... whatever's danceable and not obnoxious. If I'm just conversing, though, I'll generally have Classic Rock going. I've gotten a lot of compliments for it. Sometimes I'll just put on a "Rolling Stones" station on Pandora and use that as my dance mix, taking a break during commercials and slower songs.
I play Kraftwerk. Middle-aged men with steady office jobs love Kraftwerk.
I get almost as many comments on my fantastic DJing as I get about my ass.
I play pretty much everything in my room. From Rock to Bach .But I don't really do rap. Every time I played rap it just brought broke guys. Maybe old school rap that is more funny and not really disrespectful to women is fine. Top 40 is fine too , dance etc.
