Sexsearchcom has a fake profile that says I live in a city I've never even been to. It links to my Streamate profile, so I get people in my room from there. Has this happened to anyone else?

how can u find urself there? i dont get in
I can't get in either, I questioned a man in guest chat about it today.
Even though this site makes me sick in general** (basically a bottomless pit of guys who scam SugarDaddy sites and genuinely believe they can troll the internet to find hot 18yr women who will willingly and happily fuck them for free), it reviews adult dating sites well - the ones they profile almost inevitably are linked to webcamming sites we're all on since most major cam sites have contracts with adult dating profiles. It is the latest online sex industry scramble for money, it is lucrative in the shortterm I guess but not sustainable since guys fall for it,pay for it, and our pics and videos are used as the bait while bots or the site's customer service answers on our behalf... theyre locked into a contract and whine in our rooms about false advertising that we had no explicit part in all while the site in question collects their $ and we dont see any of it.
The fallot are grumpy guys, beggars, people trying to date you in your rooms... probably isnt the bulk of SM traffic though, TBH ImLive and webcams seems to be the worst culprit for this. So I have (some... vague) tolerance for guys looking to 'date' since they fall for these scams. Is it their fault? Debatable? Common sense would say uhhhhh why did you think this was real ?? but, there it is.
**the site - http://anonym.to/?http://casualencou...-dating-sites/ (dont browse around, the wholesite is like freechat hell in blog form)
The site is kind of cute compared to other adult dating site scams Ive seen lol - cute girl slowly disrobes the more you sign up? Not bad.
That's one of the ways Streamate advertises us. They advertise us as a dating site. It gets signups. That's why guys always ask where you're from, if you're single, and if you'll meet them. Its probably Streamate doing it themselves on there. Or its an affiliate who signed up under moneytree (streamate's affiliate), where they also give affiliate marketers a whole slew of pre-made dating & singles affiliate templates to promote. They do it because it works to get signups & spenders who spend because they think you'll eventually meet them.
Many girls seem to like be in denial that this happens, but it does. Its probably where most of cam signups come from. "Dating" sites.
I this is quite true for streamate. I don't cam there often but the days I have at least the people that talked the most got pretty pushy about location. I had some 50 yr old in my room camping out which was irritating because this is one site I don't tolerate people hanging out in my room. Come in , ask for what you're looking for and either get out or take me private. Not this let me park my ass here for free long winded conversation. I'll just log in and out several times to kick them without actually booting them. The 50yrd old starting saying how nice I was compared to all the other girls. How nice giving me false compliments in hopes I'll just write my address in the chat. He further goes on to state how his father was 55 when he married his mother of 18. He proceeded to push and beg until I just let him have it and he finally left. A couple popped in and wanted to know where I was so I gave them a bogus state and then they started to using my free chat to talk about meeting me. When someone else popped in to speak and my attention when to that person, the couple decided they weren't getting enough attention so they left.
It's quite obvious SM puts up profiles on dating sites. Also I just got a check from them. With all the sites I've been on this is the only site that puts the fucking site name in the dam display window. How fucking dumb is that shit? Are they really so desperate to advertise that they have to use my check envelope to do it? I nearly screamed when I pulled it out the mailbox. Like what if this accidentally ended up in someone else's mailbox?
I agree about the check thing, Cherry. I'm fairly open about being in the adult industry and I don't care that the check says "Streamate" on it but I'd rather they were a little more discreet.
FYI: If you get your checks sent via FedEx, they come in a big FedEx envelope instead of the little white one with clear window. I'm not sure if it's worth it for anyone to pay an extra $30/week just so the envelope their paycheck comes in doesn't say Streamate on it but I thought I'd throw it out there.
Ok, sorry for the threadjack.
