Hey I'm moving this thread into OtherWork so that Nissim from Payoneer can comment on it and give an insider perspective.

Great post! I find that payoneer is pretty easy to understand if you take time to read the faq's on their site and if you have any questions, you can either call them or email them and they always get back to you pretty quickly. The being said, you posted that you don't have any monthly fees, I'm wondering if this goes by which company you were working through when you signed up for the card. I have a $2.00 monthly fee on mine that comes off on the first of each month. But I do believe this is totally worth it! A lot of people tend to confuse the conversion and per transaction fee and think that it's just money that payoneer is making off of our money, I don't remember the exact term for it but do know that it is not something that is paid to them. I feel $2.00 is totally fair for the service they provide for us. :)
Thanks for the post OJenni :)

Hmm I guess I was not paying attention. Apparently there is a $1 maintenance fee every month.
Re: Lets discuss payoneer
So my guess is that it does matter who you signed up for your card with since my monthly fee is $2. Strange...
Re: Lets discuss payoneer
Yes different partners have different sets of fee's.
Generally there is a tiny maintenance fee, but its only paid if theres money in the account, if you get money to your card and take it out asap there's no fee.

Thanks :)
I just wanted to address a couple of issues:
Regarding fees, it's true that different programs may have a different fee structure. We allow partners the opportunity to customize the fee structure when they sign up with us.
@OJenni: We don't have a balance transfer fee...especially when moving funds to a newly ordered card. Can you please PM me the e-mail address on your account? I'd very much like to look into what happened there.
In regards to bank transfers, we do have a local bank transfer service. This service allows you to receive local transfers in 35+ countries, and SWIFT transfers in an additional 170+ countries.
We make the service available to all partners, though they would have to choose to enable it. For SM in specific, the service is enabled, and Canada is a country in which local transfers are supported. That means, if you sign up for that service, payments sent via Payoneer would be transferred to you from a local bank account in Canada, in CAD. For Canada in specific, the cost per transfer is $5.95 (it's not an international transfer, it's a local transfer, which means you won't be charged any landing fees by your bank).
This service would be in place of the prepaid card, we don't currently support both at the same time. If your partner program supports this service and you already have a prepaid card, you can contact our customer support department to switch. Note: If you have more than one partner program linked to your account, you can switch some to the local bank transfer service and keep the others on the prepaid card, you just can't have both services enabled for the same partner account.
Thanks very much for the post, it helps us a great deal to hear what you guys think about our service.
Re: Lets discuss payoneer
Thanks for the useful information Nissim!
Re: Lets discuss payoneer
I just read an e-mail saying that Webcams.com is now offering Payoneer. Woohoo! If my account on there is still active, I might get back to camming on there.
Re: Lets discuss payoneer
Me too Brownfox, thanks for letting us know !!
Nissim , How's the private load function coming along ? So guys can pay on a link without joining up - and incur minimal charge backs , ( by that I mean , only take genuine chargebacks , ie fraud , and not a CANCEL button , for the guys to cancel the transaction post session )

Re: Lets discuss payoneer
Ive had no problems with payoneer and I've used many different companies. Of course their fees are some of the most insane amounts ever. I probably pay over 200-300 a month JUST in fees. I use my card way too much though. They sent me an email saying I'd be getting a $12 bonus distributed in quarterly intervals of $3 i think, which i guess was pretty cool. I dont think ill use them much longer but i never had a problem with em.
Re: Lets discuss payoneer
I use the Payoneer card too and mostly like it but........
Here in The Netherlands I can only use it at ATM's because in shops and at gas stations it is not accepted. (get the message UNKNOWN CARD)
The same goes voor webshops, I found one luckily my favorite "toyshop" (willie.nl) that accepts payment with my payoneer card. Even a huge company here, bol.com refused it.
Re: Lets discuss payoneer
oops, this is already explained above, editing my post..., but I do get a monthly fee, which they waive if you get a certain number of payments. If you don't want to use the card for awhile and don't want to pay that fee you need to zero the card out.
I think it's well worth having if you need quick payment. I keep trying to get ahead enough to switch to fedexed checks that I get once a month but it's rough to wait that long for my cash.
Re: Lets discuss payoneer
my payoneer card has been inactive for a very long time I am sure they probably cancelled the card by now, I am not even sure or looked into seeing if the card can be reactivated or what the next step is.

We don't cancel cards due to inactivity, we would only disable them. They way it works is that after an extended period of inactivity, the account is temporarily disabled, but your payment method should remain active. When you receive a new payment, simply contact us and we can re-enable the account. If you don't have the card in your possession, we can order a new one.
You can also apply for the bank transfer service if it's supported by your partner program.
Re: Lets discuss payoneer
Hi Nissim , If you get time , please read up and address my question if possible ...
It's a service I'm longing for......
Cheers,
Missy

Anyone loading your account privately doesn't need to sign up for Payoneer, however they do need to make the load via our website. We're looking into the possibility of allowing cardholders to accept payment to their card outside of our website, however the process is very complicated and at the moment I do not have any further details (and also can't confirm if this service will indeed be implemented).
We currently do not have any sort of cancel button. In regards to chargebacks, this is mainly something determined by the loader's card company and MasterCard. There are strict rules and regulations we must follow, however loaders will not be able to cancel or dispute a load without contacting their card company and claiming that it is fraudulent (and disputing the transaction).

We don't currently support card to bank transfers, however we do have a local bank transfer service that supports local transfers to Canada. You would have to choose between the prepaid card option and bank transfer service, you wouldn't be able to have both for the same partner account.
We offer the service to all partners, however some choose not to enable it.
Re: Lets discuss payoneer
pros
Discreet service
In some cases its my only choice to get my money
Ability to pin decent amounts at 1 time .
Money is instant
cons
85$ to have the card shipped in Europe +3.50 activation fee , shipping the card to Europe took almost 2 months , express shipping took almost 1 month but in their defense it was when epass went down so i think that time where wayy to many requests
Monthly fees i do not understand some months i get 2$ some i get 4 $
the other fees are fairly decent
3.68 $ private load fee
2 $ standard load fee
5 $ immediate load fee
3.5$ atm fee
International bank transfer is not available i guess , was listed a while ago with 50$ fee , when on the phone with their cs , some said it is some said it isn't , some said to contact the website i made the card thru , did that , the website said yes , the payonner cs said is not lol . Costumer service that dosent know if they offer or not a service .
In the end i gave up trying because if i do i will need one account for each website , i cant let all sites to pay me in 1 account that transfer the money in my bank account .
Unavailability of moving an website from a card to other .
Re: Lets discuss payoneer
Vogue,
Thanks so much for taking the time out to share you feedback.
Regarding the shipping charge, we don't actually charge a fee for DHL shipping but we do charge for the shipping cost (which is taken by DHL, we don't profit from expediting shipping). The charge is only $50 currently, though it sounds like when you ordered the card it was sent with FedEx, which charges a higher fee than DHL.
Also, just to clarify in regards to the monthly fee, the reason it varies is because most programs reward you with a lower fee if you have more than a certain amount of transactions in any given month. Let's say the standard fee is $4, however if you have more than 3 transactions in a given month, the following month's fee will be only $2 (just an example, the numbers can vary).
For the bank transfer service, if your website/program said they offer it please PM me the details and I'd be happy to check. I do apologize if our customer support team wasn't able to assist you.

Nissim- Has this been changed then ? The reason I'm put off taking payments from customers to payoneer is because when girls started doing this, I know around 50% of my friends transactions were coming back as a decline/charge back , after 'pending' ..... so I'm guessing back then they could just 'cancel' the transaction , because there definitely wasn't any time for any disputing ! If this is changed , I'm willing to give it a whirl , if it's the same as it was last year this time, then I'm wary ...... PS - How do random people Load my card? I'll give it a go with a trusted client tonight.

It hasn't been changed. Just to make sure you're clear though, the private load process works like this:
Firstly, in order to begin receiving private loads to your card, you need to have received at least (1) payout from your partner/program. Your card also needs to be active/enabled (if the account was disabled due to inactivity, you need to get a new partner payout before you can re-enable it and begin receiving private loads).
The loader needs to go to payoneer.com and select "Load money to a card." Direct link: https://load.payoneer.com/LoadToPage.aspx. If you want to be fancy, you can even add a code to the URL to have your e-mail already filled in https://load.payoneer.com/LoadToPage.aspx[email protected]
Once the form is filled out and submitted, we need to get an initial approval from the loader's card company. This is done within seconds, and if successful the load will be pending for approval by our payment department. After we've reviewed the payment, which takes up to a few hours, the status will be updated to explain that the payment was approved and is pending to be loaded (and it will list an estimated load date). The overall process takes up to 2 business days.
At this point, the loader has no way to cancel the payment. As I mentioned, they do have the option to dispute the payment.
What may have happened in the case you are referring to is that our payment department never approved the load. If a stolen credit card is used, for example, the card company may initially authorize the charge, but when Payoneer checks it we determine the charge is fraudulent (in which case we decline the payment).
Other than the e-mail address and last 4 digits of your card, the loader is not given any of your personal details.
Note: You may view your entire load history, including pending loads and their status, via your Payoneer account online.
Re: Lets discuss payoneer
Nissim, I just got an email saying that there is a problem with the private load feature and they're working to resolve it. Could you please give some insight into what is going on? Is this a technical glitch that should be fixed soon or is this some kind of bank thing like what we went through with Alertpay that was never resolved. I rely heavily on private loads. There aren't many other options out there and right now I'm actually stuck in limbo because of this and am going to have to end up taking gift card payments for certain things which I hate doing. What is the deal?

The service is definitely not being cancelled, this is just a temporary service issue that may affect some cardholder accounts. We will notify you as soon as the service becomes available.
Feel free to contact me directly for any updates specific to your account.
