Escort phones
What phone service do you guys use for all business and client calls? Obviously I don't want to use my usual phone, but I don't want anything too expensive as I'm handling all my contact primarily by email. I'll only be using it for confirming appointments and maybe booking appointments with regulars in the future. There's so many different options out there with the pre-paid options and the flat-rate $50 a month phones, and I'd love to hear from people who have used a specific one and liked it. I'm mostly concerned with anonymity so ideally one that won't ask for my real name to register it and things.
Much appreciated!

Re: Escort phones
I recently read of a service - I think NUMBERS.COM that you can use and it reassigns your number and it goes completly through their system so they never actually get your real number - I may have seen it here on SW but not sure

T-mobile pre-paid cell from Walmart is what I use. It's okay for the purpose.

Re: Escort phones
I have a monthly plan phone becasue when I did the math it worked out better for me. Now there is a few companies out there where you can get a monthly phone and when you register the phone not use your real name and pre-pay it a month in advance. it's just a matter of what is available to you.

Re: Escort phones
I use a Google Voice number with an app for my iPhone. I like it since it's tied to my escort email and I don't have to worry about keeping track of or explaining why I have two phones.

Re: Escort phones
No matter which phone you go with, I suggest using it with a google voice number.
That being said, when I first started, I used the verizon prepaid, and that was okay to start with. Im hardly on the phone and its usually off. I only use it for confirming dates, providing references, or for a way for the guy to contact me enroute. I check my voicemail and reply to text messages through google voice online. Still, the charges added up and I was spending close to $40/mth. Plus I always had to carry both my work and personal phone with me, since I used my personal phone to check emails, or for the gps. I dont like having my personal phone with me on dates or leaving it in my car, so I decided to upgrade.
Not that Id call MetroPCS an upgrade in the real world :D But for this its perfect. Got myself the cheapest android phone they have at $30, pay $50 flat for phone and data. Now I only carry one phone with me when I go on a date...I have my gps, can check my emails or my notes on a guy, etc. So for just $10 more, I get a lot more features, and I can leave my personal phone/personal life at home.
