It's really just meant for girls that do Skype and Yahoo shows. As long as you're available for Skype and Yahoo shows and accept payment through whatever site you are on, it's ok. For instance, if you work on MFC but accept MFC tokens as payment for Skype or Yahoo shows, that's fine with me. However, I don't work on Streamate or AW, so I'm not quite sure how those sites work and whether you can use them for accepting payment they way you could NiteFlirt or MFC.
I like this..I just might get some new pix and sign up
It's coming together nicely. For those of you that plan to sign up, when you send in your photos, please make sure they are big enough to fill up the whole picture frame on the main page. If you take a picture with your webcam, make sure it's set to take a large photo. If it's smaller, you can't really see your face or body unless you hover over the photo. Horizontal orientation works best for the pics, too! Like anything, the better your pictures are, the more likely a guy is to click on you.
i want to hug you for this. i use paypal all the time and never have any problems with it. its been year and a half now and im good, i wonder if its becsuse i have it linked to other things like my ebay account long before i ever used it for adult stuff. and it it true the guys account can be frozen too, i always tell them that if the subject comes up.
not everyone gets their accounts frozen, it oes work for some peopel if your slick about it but yes i know about the chances and im sure you do too its just the pros outweigh the cons for me and im aware of the risks. i dont ever keep money in those accounts either, i take it out asap.
Be careful if you use the Paypal account set up with your Ebay account. I assume your real name is attached to it. If you are going to use Paypal, it's wise to set up a merchant account so you can at least use your "business" name.
I'm still looking for new girls to add to my site!
*bumping this* I love this and think it's awesome :)
Submitting my info 2night :)
bump*
You're added! Let me know if you didn't get the email with your login information.
Just wanted to say thanks for adding me to the site. Love the look.
I'll be sure to post about it on my twitter, tumblr, and blog to help promote.
If you don't have a banner made, is it ok for me to create one for my blogs?
This is awesome!! Thanks so much, I just submitted my info as well. Best wishes!!! xx
Good news! I'm working with CCBill to get a payment processor up on www.DominosDamsels.com. Assuming there are no issues, I'm hoping it will be available within the month.
Here are the details:
CCBill takes 15% of the transaction. So, if you charge $40 for a 15 minute show, they would keep $6. I haven't decided what I will collect from each transaction, but it will not be more than 10%. That means you keep at least 75%. As far as I know, that's better than any cam site out there. I'm not trying to get rich off of other girls, but I do take a lot of time, money, and effort maintaining the site. I imagine I will be fielding a lot of questions, too.
There is a minimum $100 payout. You can elect to be paid out once you reach $100 or a dollar amount of your choice. You may be paid by check or wire.
I don't want to pay the $500 per year plus the $700 sign up fee to accept Visa, so Visa won't be available as a payment option, but Mastercard, Diner's Club, JCB, and Discover are all good, as well as some lesser-known cards.
CCBill doesn't offer a per-minute rate option, so you will need to set a flat rate for your shows. $35-$40 per 15 minutes seems to be about average, but you are free to set your own rates.
Each girl that opts to use dominosdamsels.com as a payment processor will have a subaccount set up through CCBill. Any payment questions/issues should be handled by CCBill. I can handle basic stuff, but ultimately, I'm just saving each girl the trouble of making their own website and making their own CCBill account. They take care of all the payment stuff- after all, they are the payment processor, not me! :)
Warning: I'm pretty sure CCBill reports to the IRS. If you decide to use DominosDamsels.com to process your payments, you may need to submit your personal information (real name, birth date, SSN) to CCBill.
If you're already on the site and you want to have the ability to use the payment processor, please email me your rates so that I can enter that data into CCBill. Before I get the processor up and running, CCBill will probably need a scan of your ID and SSN.
I'll keep updating this post with more details as I get them.
I'm glad you asked. Here's what I mean by independent:
The main purpose of my site is to bring together independent girls (girls that don't mainly work on a camsite) and customers that prefer not to buy shows from cam sites. Personally, when I say independent, I mean that I generally don't work on camsites. I'm not the super bubbly type, so I've found that I'm more successful working one on one with customers. It's totally cool if you rely on camsites for your main income, but only do Skype shows here and there. You're still welcome on my site. If you accept MFC tokens, for example, for Skype shows, that's totally fine with me, as long as you mention that in your profile on my website. Guys that want to buy camshows from an independent girl don't always want to/won't appreciate being redirected to a camsite, and that totally defeats the purpose of an independent listing site.
Here are my general guidelines:
- You don't necessarily need to have your own website, but if you do, that's great.
- You must provide Skype, Yahoo, or MSN cam shows. Any messenger is fine, really, but these are the main ones people use, obviously.
- You MAY use my site if you do Skype shows in exchange for MFC or NiteFlirt tokens.
- My site is not meant for girls to drive traffic to SM, Adultwork, MFC, or any other cam site unless you're offering Skype shows in exchange for tributes or tokens. Sorry!
I hope this makes sense. If you have any more questions, I'd be happy to try to answer them as clearly as I can! :)
Things with CCBill are moving along pretty quickly, so payment processing will hopefully be available within a week. I'll keep you guys updated.
CCBill has approved the website and I am now able to sign girls up for payment processing. It may take a day or two for your profile page to go through the approval process, but it's been moving much more quickly than I thought it would. If you sign up today, you should be able to accept payments on Domino's Damsels by early next week at the latest. Things do move a little more slowly on weekends, though, and since this is the first time I've done this, please don't be upset if your profile isn't ready until the end of next week. Since I'm in the beginning stages and still working out some kinks, I'm not charging my cut of 10% per transaction for the first 60 days. That means your payout for the first two months of accepting payments on Domino's Damsels will be 85%.
More details:
- Each girl has a username on CCBill so she can log in to view her earnings and run earnings reports.
- As an independent model, you keep 75% of your earnings after the first 60 days of being listed on Domino's Damsels. The first 60 days, you will receive 85% of your earnings.
- Each girl will have a Personal Identification Number that she will give when calling CCBill with questions about payments to protect her personal information.
- You set your minimum payout. Once you reach this, you can choose your payment method: Check via FedEx, Check via USPS, or Wire.
- The pay week runs Sunday through Saturday. Payments are processed the following Tuesday, and checks go out the following Monday. For example, if you worked this week, your last day to earn money to be on your latest check out be tomorrow, Saturday. Your check for this week would be sent out on August 27th.
- Fees for postage are:
Check via FedEx: $10/domestic
Wire: $15/domestic, $30 international
Check via USPS: Cost of a stamp
Again, if you are an independent camgirl and want the ability to accept payments via Mastercard, Discover, online check, JCB, Diner's Club, or Maestro, and you want a listing on my site, please email me at [email protected]!
More details on payment processing! I just incorporated my cam/stripping business yesterday, so I got some good information from my tax/finance guy. Yay for itemizing deductions and being a legit corporation!
Payment Processing information for Domino's Damsels:
Payment processing is through CCBill. CCBill takes 14.5% per transaction, and my charge is 10% per transaction. Each girl will have a subaccount on CCBill with her own login and access to her transaction history and current earnings. She will also have the ability to run earnings reports. You will receive a 1099-k at the end of the year stating your earned income. Please note that you are not an employee, but an independent contractor. You are responsible for your taxes. You are not required to use the payment processor to have a free listing on Domino's Damsels. It's just an option. Even if you have opted to use the payment processing option, it doesn't have to be your main payment processor. I have no problem with you advertising other payment methods, such as MFC tokens, Niteflirt tributes, Amazon giftcards, or any other payment processor you use. I'm not not in the business of telling other people how to run their business.
If you'd like a listing, please read the information listed on the site and answer the short survey. You may paste the survey into the ContactMe form, or you can email it to me along with the photos you'd like on your profile. Here's the site address: http://dominosdamsels.com/want-a-listing/ and my email is [email protected].
Thanks, ladies! :)
Domino's Damsels has been accepted as a Payoneer partner! Details are in the works. My hope is to allow girls to sign up for Payoneer private loads without having to work for a company like LiveJasmin first. I'll keep you guys posted! :)
That's wonderful news! Keep us posted. ;D
These are all really great points and glad you mentioned it. Even trying to be sneaky and not mentioning camming simply is not enough. I had my normal, "real world" paypal account restricted (all incoming funds held for 21 days) after I took a legit web design payment from a cam model. Although no funds were exchanged for any adult related services, Paypal must have associated her account with camming before, then linked it to me, stating my account may be High Risk or some garbage.
Paypal = Bad News for Camming/Adult industry
The payment processor is live on two girls' profiles now if you'd like to check it out. For some reason, CCBill's HTML for buttons isn't working properly at the moment (and I'm too damn tired to call them again, so I'll fix it tomorrow), so the 'Buy a Show' option is temporarily hyperlinked instead of buttoned. I have custom buttons that I'll be using (or you're welcome to create your own) so it doesn't look so generic and bland. If you'd like to see something similar what I plan to use, click here and scroll down until you see the pink button.
There are two payment buttons if the girl is selling merchandise (panties, signed posters, whatever) because CCBill requires that you sell goods and services under two different accounts. The money will all go into your account regardless; it's just their way of keeping things separate. Obviously, the payment button for selling panties will say "Buy Panties" and not "Buy a Show".
If you want to see what it looks like and how it works, go here and here and scroll down to the bottom of the profile.
Turnaround time for getting things ready to go has been pretty quick as long as you get your forms in quickly.
Thanks ladies, and happy camming!
I am thinking of changing the theme of the site to something more similar to Tumblr. Can you guys check out http://test.dominosdamsels.com/ and tell me if you like this theme better than the current one? Even if you're not on the site, I'd appreciate the feedback. Thanks!!
Love the new look :)
