Warning To Cam Girls: LinkedIN
Juuuuuuust so you know, if you have a LinkedIn account in your cam/porn/dancer name, you should really delete it. Or not use it. If you click on anyone's profile or search for them, they are notified that you were looking for them. It will give them whatever name and info you have on your account. So if some of you have been outed and you have a LinkedIn account, that's probably why. I found out the hard way ;)
I bet other social networking sites will follow suit. And that's also probably how Facebook gets those random suggestions for "People You May Know"
Re: Warning To Cam Girls: LinkedIN
That's nice to know. All the reason as to why I don't use social networking sites anyway. Just never know what kind of information is being exchanged.
Re: Warning To Cam Girls: LinkedIN
I don't use LinkedIn, but is there by any chance an option to turn off that feature so other users won't know if you were viewing their profile?

I can imagine that would be on the viewee's side. "See who looks for you" rather than "let people know you looked at them".

Its on both sides because they randomly looked at my LinkedIn profile afterward (my cam one that they did not know exists)

I meant the option to turn it off. It made more sense at the time I typed it. @[email protected]

Even if you do that, if they have a paid account they can still see everyone who has viewed them.
