Re: adultwork bad experience
I'm really suspecting that was not adultwork that contacted you but a studio who just tricked you into stealing some of your money somehow.
Has anyone else heard of this type thing on Adultwork? Could this studio have hacked into your account and gotten it deactivated?

No, unfortunately they are the official adultwork advisors, adultworks don't deal with problems, they redirect you to this studio
I paid for my mistake by 2 weeks of suspension + 2% of my earnings, so I don't know why they treat me like that
Re: adultwork bad experience
and thanks god I don't bring my OWN clients to other websites, but only to my OWN website

No its probably Adultwork. They are extremely strict about you having to list the country you live in and stream from. There was a big thing about it on here like 4-5 months ago where they went on a deactivating spree because girls listed different countries. A lot of people say otherwise, but I swear the site lists UK girls first or they get priority placement. Every girl I've talked to who once had UK listed had wayyyyy more traffic and then it died down when they were forced to put US or where ever they really live. And I don't think its because guys necessarily want "local" girls. I don't believe that theory at all as none of those girls I'm talking about were escorts, and their profiles clearly stated "I DO NOT MEET UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!" or the equivalent.

Because you are now a liability to them. You lied about your location, therefore they deem you unethical. If you lie about one thing, what makes them assured that you wouldn't lie about another? The only reason someone would lie about their location (country-wise, I understand state/area-wise for safety reasons) is to increase sales or some other ulterior motive to make them more desirable or get more money/traffic. There was a big thing about this posted on here 4-5 months ago.

The reason why there is less traffic for US girls is because whenever a guy in the UK does a search on the site only girls in the UK show up. Whenever a US guy does a search on the site only US girls show up. They don't have a drop down in any of the sections to search by region. What one has to do is go in and change their region to see girls from other parts of the world. Its really dumb, but again when you sign up on AW you agree to their terms and how they run their site.
UK customers however can see girls in other countries if they are just browsing, but many like to do a search to narrow down the specifics of what they are looking for. I came to be aware of this when a customer told me he could not find my profile on there. It was because he was doing a search and he is located in France (so only girls from Frace were showing up). Same thing here....if I do a search to narrow down which type of person I am looking for I will only get Canadians. If however I go in and change my region I get girls showing up in the search from that region.
Fuck it is frustrating because we are missing out on some very good customers that way. If only they would put a drop down on that little search (in the webcam section that has Looking for a/ethnicity/age/bust/height/etc) bar for country. Would make the odds of getting some of these customers that much greater.
The thing I know about Europeans and even Asians is that they like to find what they want pronto! They don't like to spend hours just browsing through various adds, they like to narrow down the hunt quickly using a search. But then again that's probably true for everyone around the globe.
So to sum it up:
1. Most customers use the search
2. You cannot be found in a search unless the customer changes his region
3. You are only going to be found if the customer is browsing and not searching
4. You can only be found in a search if the customer searching is from your area.

That has got to be the stupidest way of doing things! Why would guys only want girls in their country? I have never been on AW so I don't know, is it more of an escorting site? That seems like such a huge disadvantage to the girls working the site!
And yah you broke a rule, but to put you under a studio for it?!? I wouldn't work on there anymore if it were me.

There are a fuckton of escorts yeah, and its a common thing on there. A lot of guys ask to meet or expect to.
Them doing that make sense traffic-wise, TBH. Funny how no one would including them would actually admit that though. I bet they'd even go as far as denying it. UK girls make 10x the money anyone else does on there I'm sure.

DirectCam is for the provision of live interactive (text, audio & video) adult themed services, broadcast from a webcam and/or microphone via the DirectCam Platform to visitors to the Site. Any member found to be abusing this basic usage definition by way of spamming, advertising other websites or services, posting off topic messages or banners, or using images to misrepresent their status or offering will most likely be deactivated. Members are reminded that AdultWork.com is a club where members are expected to operate openly and honestly. For the avoidance of doubt the following is not permitted via JustCamIt/DirectCam:
- use still images in DirectCam
- use pre-recorded video in DirectCam
- have more than one profile per person
- share the same video feed across more than one JustCamIt login
- pretend to offer services (such as Escorting) that you don't.
- pretend to be in a different country than you actually are
- pretend to be of a different orientation or sexual preference (e.g. TV/TS than you actually are) either in your summary or nickname
- appear as available for free preview whilst camming nude on another site (you must exit JCI if you cannot provide free non-nude cam sessions or untick the free setting here.)
Im also guessing as you are with sweetkick you are from eastern europe,

Members from certain countries, (e.g. Romania, Russia, Latvia & Ukraine), will need to meet additional verification and ID requirements before being allowed to offer webcam services. (Any affected national found to be working on the Site without having performed the verification steps will be suspended until such time as they have done so.) This verification and checking process may be performed by one of our Business Advisors. In extreme cases some members may be required to subscribe to the support agreement offered by the advisor and be liable for the costs of doing so. Should the member fail to stay within the terms of the agreement, or fail to pay the associated charges, their membership of the Site may be terminated. Business Advisors are entitled to refuse you membership to the Site.
As you had been deactiviated, you probably had to go through the full verification process again
Re: adultwork bad experience
I KNOW :)
the problem is that if you make a mistake, they put you in a STUDIO( not like normal website that give u another chance), and they show your real nationality on your profile even if you don't want to, which is violation of privacy for me !!
Have you ever heard of any website forcing people to reveal their REAL NATIONALITY ?? I didn't

Re: adultwork bad experience
Well I have worked on AW for 4 years now and never had these problems, but I am in the UK and I'm happy to have that on my profile. I believe that sweetkick is a studio that eastern european girls HAVE to work through on AW, I might be wrong but I'm sure I read that somewhere on the AW thread. I used to get a lot of guys complaining in freechat that there were a lot of girls saying they were in the UK or were British when they clearly weren't, I can only assume that these complaints were passed onto AW and they dealt with it.
As far as flashing in freechat on AW, yep it is a rule that is strongly enforced, the guys are told this upon entering your room and it's also why tipping is not permitted in freechat. Personally I love that! No pandering to the freeloaders. Yes the clients are different to the SM/MFC guys, yes AW is primarily an escorting site which has only turmed to camming/phone sex in recent years. AW is my main site and I will never change that. I splitcam with SM, I never talk in freechat, unless tipped on SM, I never have my audio on in AW freechat and because I never flash pink on AW I make it very clear that I will not do it on SM no matter how much gold they wanna tip.
Edited to add this, Thankyou Katyx

Yes they are maily for eastern european girls, but they deal with AW problems too, so they can take you to their studio even if you are not from eastern europe (i am not)

Re: adultwork bad experience
Amen to that Miss Demeanour!
It is mandatory to input a country in which you live, theres no way sweetkick can take this off your profile.
''No, unfortunately they are the official adultwork advisors, adultworks don't deal with problems, they redirect you to this studio'' - This is just not true, AW themselves have always delt with my problems and ive always recieved support within a totally reasonable amount of time.
How have you been corresponding with them? You can email them via the help center.
Re: adultwork bad experience
1) I SAID the problem now is not showing the country where I live, But they also say my REAL NATIONALITY ( let's say that I am american living in china, they are displaying BOTH !! Hope you understand me now
2) I contacted AW and they asked me to contact their advisors

Re: adultwork bad experience
I'm only trying to help you,
Okay, so theyre now displaying your country of residence at the bottom left of your profile, right? Where is your nationality being shown? Ive never seen both being shown before.
You said above you are not eastern european nor living in eastern europe, so the email response you quoted above doesnt apply to you then?
Re: adultwork bad experience
They said that they show BOTH, if your are from country X living in country Y, It is mandatory

Yup, lately I've been getting guys coming into group or private chat just to ask me "Do you escort?" When I tell them no, they either end the session abruptly, or they say "Oh, that's a shame" and then leave abruptly. LOL.
Re: adultwork bad experience
shame on AW for forcing your to reveal anything that you are not comfortable with.
This is still a tabboo work we are doing. it is risky.
We never know what type of deranged person is watching us and decides to hunt us down..
.
Horrible x 1000000 on AW"s part.:shocking:

Yes I get that but I'm not seeing it, well certainly not on my profile, yes it states I'm in the UK and even which county, (this is info that I willingly gave and am happy to have on my profile), but no where can I see that it states my nationality? As far as I can remember, even if you say you are from a different country again at the bottom of the profile it will give your real country of broadcast and this is done via your IP address, this was how a lot of eastern european girls were found out to be lying. Obviously I am not saying you are lying I am just stating the facts of AW.
You know, I hate MFC and everything it stands for so I don't cam there end of, maybe AW is not for you or those who also feel the same.
Re: adultwork bad experience
Naughtycamgirl--
I just wanted to let you know that I got that Sweetkick email, too--and I am definitely not from Easterm Europe either--whenever I was trying to get verified. Just delete the email, continue on with the verification process, and you should be fine.
Re: adultwork bad experience
The studio signup thing is bizarre but AW's rules... I mean you agree to them prior to broadcasting and there is quite a bit about the country stuff here in SW already if you search. I think PJ warned people about this enforcement about country stuff and false advertising originally and there have been a bunch of fallout posts since.
There are so many threads about people being pissed about sites not enforcing rules - looks like AW doesnt fuck around. Im kind of.... relieved. Didnt know they cared about enforcing no nudity in free or other rules they have.
Sorry to derail with schadenfreude. Well it isnt schadenfreude since I hope you get reinstated (if you want to keep working there) with the site and not a random studio, but I honestly didnt think many sites enforced much of anything anymore.
