Re: adultwork bad experience
I know Roast that I did something agaist the TOS, I paid for it with 2 weeks of suspension, isn't that enough ?
But the thing that I don't understand is why forcing me to go with this studio that monitor me 24/24 like if I was a criminal + take 2% of my earnings + show my real info to everybody, I am surprised about it, they really care about our privacy lol (most of website give you the option to choose from different countries, and won't care if you say that you are from another nationality or lie about your age)
I would rather prefer to be banned from the website for ever !
Anyway the best thing for me is to leave this website.

There are so many threads about people being pissed about sites not enforcing rules - looks like AW doesnt fuck around. Im kind of.... relieved. Didnt know they cared about enforcing no nudity in free or other rules they have.
Sorry to derail with schadenfreude. Well it isnt schadenfreude since I hope you get reinstated (if you want to keep working there) with the site and not a random studio, but I honestly didnt think many sites enforced much of anything anymore.

I think they force you to put it. Like my profile has "broadcasting from country: ______" or something on it. They just don't want guys to be scammed. Because AW is the one that gets fucked over. The girl will say she met with the guy (escorting) and the guy will say it didn't happen and it didn't. So I'm sure one guy probably got the police involved or something and forced AW to become strict about all that.
Re: adultwork bad experience
That doesn't make sense. AW doesnt receive any money for escort bookings. Men pay the woman in full in cash (usually) on arrival. So there would be no reason for a guy to call the police on an escort? '999 whats your emergency?' 'yeah hi, the prostitute I am waiting for hasn't turned up'? no.
It looks bad on the girl if she makes a booking and doesnt turn up.. but no one looses out on money.
I see what your saying though, if a guy talks to a girl in private about meeting up.. and it turns out she lives abroad and has lied about it, he's going to get annoyed. So yeah, I think the country you live in should be displayed.
I think ethnicity is just used for preference searches though.
Re: adultwork bad experience
That's why I didn't bother to sign up with them. I checked the site, and it offered me immediately performers from my country. So I thought, "if I sign up, my profile will be thrown to the face of anyone who visits the site from my country? Wonderful? No, not really. Move on to the next site."
And it is totally unfair. Why is it okay to say another state but not okay to say a different country? I mean come on, this freakin world is full of countries smaller and less populated than the states of the US for example. Hell, I live in a country it's 40% smaller than Georgia and has roughly the same population. It would be a big fat security reason to hide it, and I'm not alone. I cannot go to the other corner of the country without someone seeing me, and telling my relatives how they saw me in xy town... I don't want to increase my sales with hiding it, I just wanna protect myself. On SM I am offered to pick 5 different countries instead of the original one, and I would be happier to pick even the most gettho one, just protect myself. I can't choose any shiny, western, rich country, they offer similar ones based on my original location and it is very very fair in my opinion..
Re: adultwork bad experience
I do understand the security and safety concerns, but I also understand AW's stance, so I suppose that we all have to read the TOC's of every site we look at and make our decisions on wether we are prepared to accept those TOC's. FWIW and incase nobody has picked it up yet ;) , I love AW lol and I have never had a problem in the 4 years I've been there, so I hate seeing ladies that are having probs, tbf most of them are easily solved, I am sorry fpr the OP and other ladies with similar issues, I always feel very safe and secure there, but at the end of the day there are lots of other camming sites out there, they can't all be suited to all cammers.

Re: adultwork bad experience
Ok, I just thought of something. The whole thing about listing girls by region like OJenni said makes TOTAL sense to me now. I feel like a large amount of the guys I get on Adultwork used to live in the US but live in London now, and I get a lot of French guys that love American girls.
What would happen if I blocked the US, tho? Would I be SOL?
