You don't need to spend a fortune on a laptop for webcamming. A lot of the middle of the range laptops will handle this with ease. Even splitcamming.
Sony, Asus and Toshiba are worth looking at for reliable brands. Avoid HP & Acer.

I might get this... I wanted to build a gaming PC, but my computer is already dying. So I gotta get a new laptop, asap.

The HDD is sooooo slow though. I'm gonna swap the ram for 16 GB.
Here's a note about alienware: You can build a computer that's better than anything they offer, and it'll be cheaper. Desktop's stay cooler also.
Thanks for this thread.... I am trying to decide which laptop to get and I am already a Dell fan so this sold the deal for me- Alienware it tis..lol I do more than just cam on my computers so I need a laptop that can handle anything I want to throw at it so this would be perfect....
Building a PC is actually really really easy...it's just expensive legos. But not everyone has the time/patience for that. I know NCIX has some options for customizing a PC, so I might do that. You choose the different parts, but they assemble it for like an extra 50$.
