How long did you wait to go back to work after plastic surgery?
Please post procedure, time off, and if you had any complications due to going back to work too soon.
I'm especially interested in BAs because I had mine 3 weeks ago and can afford to take off another 3 but I'm going stir crazy at home and think I may go back next weekend.
Thanks for your input girls.

6 weeks. Personally I wasn't going to risk something going wrong. Its not worth it and this was part of my doctors instructions. I have slight bottoming out that started around 6-8 weeks. Whether or not it was caused from working to soon or it was going to happen anyway.. I will never know.

I waited 8 weeks. I am glad I waited too. My upper body couldn't handle it. I however, went under the muscle for my boobs.

I took 3 weeks. I was gonna take at least a month but we (he) got in some legal trouble so I took limited shifts. Listen to your body, don't do anything crazy, eat well and you should be fine.

Dont drink/drugs. If you anaethatize yourself you may push harder than you should. I got mine this March 13th, haven't gone back yet (Junes my month back) but am thinking of having some dental work done now, then go back after recovered from that. My husband can support me in the meantime but I did advance pay bills, put money on the credit card etc anticipating around 3 months off. I am athletic on the pole so it seemed the wiser choice.

Eat well is the truth. I did a high protein diet afterwards as my surgeon recommended. It oddly enough works. Eat lot's of fish, beef, and chicken. Stay away from complex carbs. Eat simple carbs like veggies and you will heal quickly.
I started moving around a little too quickly and a stitch popped for me. I wasn't even working. Really just keep your arms no higher then your waist for 8 weeks. I will admit, I saved money before I went under. I saved enough so, I could go about four months without work. My recommendation to any girl is, save money so you can go without working for 8 weeks.

My problem was I sat on my ass, nothing to to do and I reached for the nearest goodies. Wawa cookies, croissants, etc. I didn't get obese or even chubby but I was NOT where I would like to be. It took me this long to bounce back and I'm still maintaining. Fortunately at my other club there is numerous visual examples of why it's good to hit the gym :D

Haha... working out is so not an option. I forgot to say that. Thank goodness my surgeon recommended, to jog, walk, or run. Part of the healing was exercise. He said, if you do light exercise like walking or jogging. It will cause the body to heal faster since, the blood is flowing.
It's okay, that you enjoyed being down. I take 4 weeks of the year to travel to another country and be a fat ass on a beach. Haha.... I eat my croissants and preserves. I don't work out. So, you went on a little vacation. Now you are back on your diet and fitness program you will be back in less then a month. :-)

I forgot to add, my surgeon had me doing daily walks every three hours for at least a 1/2 mile. He said, it was to help with blood flow with healing. It also, helps keep on thin. Also, I bloated without any scale numbers increase from the anesthesia. I would say my stomach puffed about 3-4 inches for about 3 months after. Even when I was cleared to do only cardio after my first 2 weeks, I couldn't shed it quickly. I worked with a couple porn companies who wanted me right out the gate with my new boobs. Everyone wants to be the first to post the new boobs and I cringe at those scenes. My stomach was so puffy. I had to wear sweat pants for a couple months. My surgeon did warn me about this.
I am just glad since, he does a lot of porn chick boobs here in LA. He is the guy most of the porn chicks go to. He really assured me my weight would okay, if I stuck with my diet.
