Re: Customer levels on SM
no one? well i haven't had any level 3 customer come in yet today. but so far i determined that $95 is a level 1 and $170 is a level 2. that's not to say that's the cutoff. that's just two examples of guys who have been in my room today. and i'm counting the amount they SPENT, not the amount i earned b/c that varies depending on your rate.
Re: Customer levels on SM
What is the Streamate Rewards program?
Streamate Rewards program was initiated on September 1st, 2008. Streamate Rewards provides benefits to our valued customers like you for using paid chat services. There are ten rewards levels. The more you participate in premium sessions, the higher level obtained and the more rewards you receive. Each reward level is based on a minimum amount of premium sessions per given amount of days.
Rewards are issued as credits toward future purchases on the site. Basically, a percentage of your successfully processed spending is discounted toward your next chat or video purchases once your rewards have been issued. The credits you earn will be applied to your Streamate account on a weekly basis. You will receive emails notifying you of how much you've earned and when your credits have been applied.
The table below illustrates the requirements for each of the levels and the percentage of rewards applied for being at said level. Again, the level and percentage of rewards received is based on processed charges, not those that are pending to be billed.
Rewards Level Requirements Discount
Rewards Level 1 At least a 2-minute session 3 different days 1%
Rewards Level 2 At least a 2-minute session 15 different days 2%
Rewards Level 3 At least a 2-minute session 30 different days 3%
Rewards Level 4 At least a 2-minute session 45 different days 4%
Rewards Level 5 At least a 2-minute session 60 different days 5%
Rewards Level 6 At least a 2-minute session 120 different days 6%
Rewards Level 7 At least a 2-minute session 180 different days 7%
Rewards Level 8 At least a 2-minute session 240 different days 8%
Rewards Level 9 At least a 2-minute session 300 different days 9%
Rewards Level 10 At least a 2-minute session 360 different days 10%
For example, if you have a minimum of a 2-minute paid chat on three separate days, you will be a Rewards Level 1 member. At this level, you will receive 1% of your spending back as a credit on your Streamate account that will be deducted from your next payment once your rewards have been issued.
Your rewards level and amount of credits will be greater the more often you have premium sessions on Streamate. To move to the next level, your minimum days of premium sessions must increase and meet the requirements shown in the table above. You will remain at each level until said requirements are met to move to the next. You don’t have to worry about dropping levels should your spending decrease or remain the same.
You will receive periodic emails with information on your Streamate Rewards. These emails will notify you of your rewards level status, how many credits you’ve earned, and when they will be applied to your Streamate account. You will also be provided with information on how to reach the next level of membership and increase your rewards benefits. The Streamate Rewards program and its terms are subject to change without notice.
So it seems it isnt about how much is spent but how often the frequent the site. Somone who came and spend 4 minutes 6 different times will have a higher number than somone who blew 400 in a show.
Re: Customer levels on SM
I'm not the most knowledgeable person to comment on this (I think, I have one level 3 custy,) but I've always guessed that:
level 1: 0.01-99
level 2: breaking 3 digits, your cut, i.e., 100
level 3: something bigger, e.g., $300, your cut, but who knows it might just as well be $200, and the pattern could be "linear" not "exponential," i.e., every $100 land them on a higher level, thus:
1: .01-99
2: 100-199
3: 200-299
4: 300-399
5: 400-499

I hope more serious customers don't fret over these rewards percentages, because this really promotes cheap behavior (in several different ways.)
But I also think this is unrelated to the levels *we see* for example a member can have a "2" next to their name in my room but another model whom he has never visited before won't see anything, so it's only on our end, but anyways thanks for sharing I don't have a member's account so it's interesting to learn the weird (counter-productive?) promotional campaigns SM has.
Re: Customer levels on SM
I know that the first three levels are as follows:
(1) $1+
(2) $100+
(3) $500+
They must have spent these amounts in your room ... I don't know about levels (4) and (5) though.
I got this info from another SM model.

Thank you Holly. I believe this is a different numbering system. I think this is for the customers only. Our numbering system, as far as I know, is only 1 thru 5 and is solely based on spending, and changes from model to model. (A model who has customer BigBalls69 at a level 5 may have him at a level 2.)

Oh lawd, I fail, :D I only just noticed that, assuming the percentage being 35%; 170 * 0.35 = $59.5 (and NOT $100) to be a 2, besides it would make sense to assume that SM is assigning the numbers based on what guys SPENT not what your cut is because it could be pretty complicated for SM to factor in whether or not you're in a studio, etc. SM having changed it also makes sense because in the past there seemed to be less 2's... I guess now you would just have to dig up any of the guys you know are 3's and add up the $$$.
I managed to dig up the guy who I suspect is a 3 and he's spent ~$550 ($165 my cut at 30%)
so, yeah, personally I'm liking this, that was mentioned above:
level 1: at least a minute
level 2: $100 (what they spent)
level 3: $500 (what they spent)

This actually looks very accurate and matches up with what I've seen in my room so far.
I will add that the customer has to be in your room for at least 1:01 for one session to get a level one. That's a new thing. It used to be 0:31 (31 sec), but they changed it to 1:01 (I think a couple months ago). That means the actual amount spent for one minute varies from model to model.

Yep, that looks like pretty much what I've figured.
I'd LOVE to hear from models who have 4s and 5s. Not looking to start a competition. I'm just interested in knowing how much the guys have to spend with me before they reach that level.

I also believe that this is a completely separate "system" than the one WE see as performers. What you outlined suggests that it would not matter which model a member spent money on, their level would be the same across the entire site.
Where as, if a member comes into your room, the number next to his name is specific to YOUR room, and not the site as a whole. So the rewards level would be separate than what level he is in each particular performers room.
I have a few 3's but I have never seen anything above a 3. I have one guy who has spent INSANE amounts in my room... I'm talking like.... I take home at least $120 each time he takes me exclusive, which is at least once every other week... and he's still a 3. I really don't think it goes above 3.... ? Or maybe it's like super high... $5k+?
Re: Customer levels on SM
I've never seen anyone above a 3 either! But I'll definitely rejoice when/if that day comes.
Re: Customer levels on SM
I've never seen anyone above a three! Most of my guys seem to float around the "2" range....it would be nice if SM told us though, rather than leaving us to figure it out, clue-style!
Re: Customer levels on SM
Ah HAH! I'd fricking WONDERED what those numbers were. I thought that they were number of times someone had a show with you. Since they always seemed to be wrong I thought maybe it was number of times in a certain amount of time but hah! This is way more interesting
I have a 4 and I used to have a 5. Most of mine are 1 and 2 with a few 3.

I originally thought that it was how many times they had had a show/given you gold....but that made no sense after a guy started coming in and giving me gold as a "room fee" every day....but stays at a 2!! (not many shows...becuase he prefers to give me money directly. Yay).
I wonder if we would get a straight answer if we e-mailed support...hmmmmm
Re: Customer levels on SM
One guy had a 20+ minute show with me at 4.99 a min, and he was a level 5 for me.
I never knew what those numbers meant...
Re: Customer levels on SM
^But that's only $100. Why would he be a 5? That's really not that much money to spend. Or do you mean that he went to a level 5 after that show but had spent money before then?
Re: Customer levels on SM
Haha, i just thought it was the # of privates they had taken us too. Do they also get #s if they join a goldshow?

That's one reason i thought it was broken when I thought it was just a number of shows. They don't show up after only one or two gold shows (probably becuse they've only spent like, 30$ then).

He didn't spend any money on me before. That was his first show with me. I don't really get it either... He hasn't been back in a long time unfortunately.
Re: Customer levels on SM
ok i have been dying to know this. what does it mean when u see a notpad blinking next to a member's name?
sorry for the threadjack but it seemed like an opportune time to ask, LOl.
Re: Customer levels on SM
One complaint that models had was that when you're clicked on another customer's name, you can't see what anyone else is typing. So, if you're clicked on one customer to have a private conversation with him, and another customer is trying to talk to you, it is indicated by the flashing notepad icon. That way you aren't "ignoring" someone in your chat room.
Re: Customer levels on SM
Has anyone ever had a customer over the #3? You would know you customer pretty well if he truly was a level 4 (if there really is). I have guys who are level 3 and they've spent over $3000 on me. This one model says she has 2 level 4's; saying they spent over $10,000 on her. I kinda think she's bullshitting :/ But if anyone out there does have a level 4, could you please calculate how much they spent and please let us know?!
Re: Customer levels on SM
My lovely level 3 says he will try for lvl 4 even if it doesn't even exist. I will welcome his efforts. :D
Re: Customer levels on SM
^That must be nice........ :)
