Re: Deleting account on Sm?
You can ask Vanessa about it. She helped me with my account changes and offers a lot of sound advice.
Re: Deleting account on Sm?
When I emailed SM support to close/delete my account, it took about 3 days for them to do it. I wasn't with a studio though, so I don't know if that makes any difference or not in how long it takes.
Re: Deleting account on Sm?
I spammed all their support emails with requests for deleting. It took them nearly a day only. I sent the messages from the email I used for registering and I used the in-site contact-us formula too. I think she has the best chances to have it deleted this way, or they might think it is someone else asking for her profile to be deleted.
ps. maybe it took them more I cant remember now. But that was the slowest of all the things they did for me. With other stuff they were generally fast, so I know I felt like "Omg no, I'll start spamming now, I need the new account ASAP"
Re: Deleting account on Sm?
It was about 24 hrs for me to get confirmation that it was deleted.
Re: Deleting account on Sm?
Ladies thank you... but what i meant is if your account is controlled by a studio and so is the email..........I was under the impression that if the account sits un used long enough the account self closes.............. Vanessa has never answered my email or tweets about this issue btw
Re: Deleting account on Sm?
Asking to delete an account from an email address that isn't on the account might be a red flag. Ask her if she can delete the account if you can prove that it's really you doing the request. Tell her you can take a photo of you holding the ID used to sign up with the date/username/email. I don't know if that will work but it can't hurt to try.

I think probably because she isnt exactly SM's customer service. She does signups for independent models. Youre trying to move her from her studio to your studio, correct?
Have you tried adult webmaster forums because that is where studio owners tend to talk to each other so this issue is probably more common there.

Dang my friends got this issue, they worked for a physical studio, and the owner started to use drugs, and used their hard earned money for it and stopped paying them, so they told him they would leave, and go to another studio. He decided to take a revenge, by not deleting them AND logging in every single day to keep the profile alive. They were literally begging to SM, offered video prove or ANYTHING that it's them, asking to have that old profile deleted, they explained the situation, but nothing worked. For like 2-3 weeks this went on, and then they decided to get in the asshole's email box, to email SM from there. Fortunately he used very primitive passwords, like his own name lol. Then SM deleted their profile and voila, they could re-register.
However this was over a year ago. They should find out something for cases like this, cause I don't think it's so rare. Here in eastern eu, studio owners often keep the accounts, just change the profile pictures and give it to the next girls/couples replacing the old ones. Meanwhile, the old ones cannot re-register, so they get an old profile at the new studio too, and the circle never ends. This, kind of prevents them from going independent too.
Maybe she should explain the situation, and ask what she can do to have it deleted, and prove that it's her, since the studio owner would not let her go, but stopped paying altogether for weeks now, but she loves SM and would continue working there yadayada.
Re: Deleting account on Sm?
As SM policy is to side with the studio by default I dont Vanessa could answer even if she wanted to.
Do you know the email address the account is registered with?
To close an account by email is usually 1 business day but for your question I have seen dates from 6months to 12 months, we know IM is 12months but other studios may have a different number. What ever the number is its going to be a long wait.

PJ Can you not take girls who NEED daily pay from studios? I have a model in desperate need to be on DP but right now life is not going good in her direction and internet is cut off :/ This girl seriously needs DP and if she can get away from the studio she will make more with you (she makes 20%) and gets daily. Reaching her online is hard bc if she is not logged in her profile does not show up. I have other ways to contact her if you can help her. I do not want referral bonus/nothing...she needs out and in with you.
If she gets put on DP Im throwing her the cash to turn on her net
Re: Deleting account on Sm?
PJ thank you for that answer..... very close to what i need.....If only you knew this guy is a studio evil Genius!!!!!!!!!..... its like he cant be stopped!
Re: Deleting account on Sm?
I hesitate to answer these types of questions since studio models aren't necessarily my "realm" or whatever you want to call it, but here's what I've seen through my personal experience: a model that's currently in a studio can close her account, however, she cannot turn around and create a new account right off the bat (whether it's in a regular SM studio or not). Typically, there is a sort of grace period that must be waited out (something along the lines of 90 days, but don't quote me on that one), and she is cleared to create a new account. Certain studios have longer grace periods implemented on their recruited models before they are allowed to create new SM accounts- up to 1 year for a particular studio that comes to mind. It's the model's responsibility to acquire these types of details prior to just signing up anywhere, though unfortunately, many newcomer's don't think about these sorts of things until after-the-fact. I'd imagine that if the studio gave express written notice that her account is closed/released and that she has the green-flag to create a new account within your studio right away, that she would be able to do so (but that's probably a long-shot from the sound of it).
Reading back to your original question, I digress: unless a formal closure request has been submitted to SM, model accounts are automatically closed and archived after a certain amount of consecutive days (I believe it is 90) of inactivity. Otherwise, Support should close the account promptly upon receipt of the closure request.
