MFC posts warning about models who con - NOT SURPRISED
Those of you who work with MFC probably say this posted on May 31st. I just now caught and thought it was hilarious. I tried to find the General MFC Thread, but it guess it wasn't tagged properly so maybe someone can link me to it here. From the MFC model homepage:
Tips- We have been receiving complaints that some models are making big promises for tips, and then after receiving the tip they ignore or ban the member, or otherwise do not follow through on the promise. Models that intentionally mislead or scam members will be fined and removed from the website.
I can't begin to describe how thoroughly un-shocked I am by this. Frankly, it's about time MFC cracks down on this (I really hope they do, anyway). If a guy is coming into MFC and dropping big tokens, but then gets burned - he's probably going to leave and that's money out of the rest of our pockets. Additionally, that makes the few con model make the rest of us look bad. I realize many models don't feel bad for the men and feel the men should know the risks, but I actually do have sympathy for them (unless they're complete morons). What do you guys think? Will MFC actually crack down? Anyone heard any specific stories of models scamming?

It works both ways; buyer beware!
What?
Translation please?

Actually, right under the warning about the tips on the homepage it says:
"Thank you to all of our wonderful models for another record month! "
Leads me to believe they're doing pretty good, but who knows....

Re: MFC posts warning about models who con - NOT SURPRISED
What I mean is the guys 'may be slightly delusional/naive in seriously expecting the girls to follow up with their fantasy chat issued for the duration of the incoming tokens!
I hope that made more sense that time!

Re: MFC posts warning about models who con - NOT SURPRISED
Here we go again. Am I the only one who see's a member tipping for skype, getting his skype chat with the model yet still demanding to meet? When she refuses he's off to mfc to complain? MFC decides to fine the model?
To me " thanks for a record month" doesn't mean anything. If a site had a bad month are they going to post that? NO . They aren't going to say "hey we had a bad month, make more tips". I think they have more traffic everyday but the traffic is non paying. They brought it on themselves and now they are trying to recoup their financial loses from their models. How original.

Re: MFC posts warning about models who con - NOT SURPRISED
The best thing we can do is be honest to our customers. If they are tipping for something specific we need to be professional and keep our end of the deal. I would love to see MFC enforce the rules across the board. Maybe then those of us that are following them will be compensated.

Re: MFC posts warning about models who con - NOT SURPRISED
^ I agree but I've had the guy that tips for something I don't do at all then says I scammed him.
It's should go :
1. Ask to do something
2. I agree
3. They tip
4. I do it.
Instead what I see is:
1. Guy tips and in tip notes" Hey stick the toy in your ass and lick the shit off"
2. Me: "wtf I'm not doing that!!"
3. Guy says:You scammed me!
4. Me: Wait .. what?

And usually something like 5 tokens attached. Can you imagine getting fined 2k tokens for that shit??

Thank you! Exactly MFC is just feeding new models some bullshit rules so they have an excuse to steal from them. Fuck that! They already treat the one-time-$20.00-6 years-ago-losers like kings. Now this shit? Bye MFC.

thisss, on so many levels.
but i actually think the main reason for this warning (not to be a gossip >.>) . was apparently there was a top model who did some really shady business...with a custy who tipped thousands of dollars of tokens. it was something about a raffle, and a skype prize, but after he won she changed it to he could take her private or something. and when he complained apparently she let someone else take her private. THAT, isnt fair if it's true in my opinion. Why offer the skype prize at all?
Anyways MFC recently did a refund for me for a custy who tipped for a nude show (I'm NN) and they didnt take the tokens away from my account... they ate the losses and said it was a one-time favor and to next time try and come to a conclusion with the custy. It was a pretty generous amount of tokens if I say so myself...I was really pleasantly surprised. So in conclusion I really don't think this would affect any honest model at all. But a model scaring away a big time spender? or multiple decent spenders? I think that's who this warning is aimed towards.

Re: MFC posts warning about models who con - NOT SURPRISED
Serious question: I wonder if theyre referring to big promises that are rule violations? Particularly ones that are forbidden? Because .... what is the (ethical) sense in fining a model for failing to deliver a big promise that is explicitly against the rules?
So against the rules that both customer and model know it is a rule violation.
For example how can you fine a model for say... offering to escort or make video with a customer, which is prostitution (not judging anyone, but if the model or customer are somewhere where it isnt decriminalized: lbr, it is) and then she backs out of doing it for example. In that scenario customer knew it was a forbidden rule but bid anyway for his own interests. The model knew it was a forbidden rule but did for her own profits. The site knew it was forbidden but turned a blind eye while turning a profit.... fining the model for this kind of scenario seems wildly ethically incongruent all around?
Seriously though.
Id guess by big promises they dont mean tips of appreciation or tips that align with all of the site rules. Not to say there arent scamgirls on every site bc Im sure ppl have promised flashes or something for high tkns but dont do them - but idk these are my colleagues so I have to see their perspective first.
There are so few sites that seem to enforce customer rules agreements. If that posting refers to people scamming customers in scenarios that are not rule violations and where the model agreed to do something but didnt right after tipped, then it makes sense (if there is actual evidence), but idk I highly doubt it. How can you fine a model for agreeing to do something totally against the rules and then not doing it?
I mean, idk I agree with cherry and I also agree with kinkydirtybitch: buyer beware but buyer have reasonable expectations. Common sense is not so common as they say.
BTW, Im never aware of MFC gossip so this could be the result of a few models being shady as fuck and Im speaking out of my ass. If that's the case welll.... oop. Just terminate them though? Fines are hilariously self-interested, if it is a massively big deal just suspend their accounts? IDK I dont run a bigole camsite so
Less seriously? Id pay one day to read the customer service emails on every major cam site. Im sure most are about technical or billing issues - but the rest are probably hilarious like "i asked camgirl69 to shit on a cake and she didnt!! I spent $100 begging her to do it and she didnt, I want my money back!!! SCAM!"

Re: MFC posts warning about models who con - NOT SURPRISED
Lol, Fridays, your posts amuse me so much.
I'm hoping that it is directed at models that they can prove have scammed members, and not those who the members are (falsely) crying foul over. I get people tipping me for stuff that I state in my profile that I won't do, and then they get mad, and I'm like, "Well thanks for the tip, but I can't refund it, and you should have asked first, you nitwit." (I'm not nice to assholes in my room.)

Re: MFC posts warning about models who con - NOT SURPRISED
I stopped messing with MFC a while ago, it seems they only care about the "big" money making models who show everything in free chat. They dont enforce their own rules and only look after the ones who are making them money.
Just like Fridays said, They wont punish the ones who break the rules as long as they are making the site money.

Re: MFC posts warning about models who con - NOT SURPRISED
If a guy tips to see the model fuck a dildo in free chat but she doesn't follow her promise what can MFC do about it? I mean it is against TOS to show nudity in free chat..

Yeah, so MFC Support will probably just tell the complaining guy that the model isn't supposed to do penetration in public anyway...lol. So his complaint would be pointless.
Now even if an MFC model is a scammer and told her room (who just tipped her required amount for a show) "So long, suckers!" and logged off without doing the show...even though that's a fucked up thing for her to do, she might still get away with it since MFC tells members that "tips are gifts." That's why I think an MFC member needs to be smart and not tip humongous amounts to models they've only known for 5 seconds.
