Manycam, Logitech C615 and Mac
Hi,
I have downloaded manycam and I can only connect my I-sight. When I try to connect my my logitech c615 I get a message "Can't connect to video source." Any suggestions. I really would like to watermark what I do. In camtwist the camera does not even come up...
thx in advance!

Re: Manycam, Logitech C615 and Mac
Hi,
I have managed to connect the logitech to camtwist... don't know how... the option just came up on it's own.... But how do I connect it to the site please once I log in? I'm broadcasting in my browser in safari.... thx
Also, any advice still on the manycam would be great.....
Re: Manycam, Logitech C615 and Mac
Is your cam plugged in, but not turned on?
If it's turned on and you try to connect in manycam, it won't work, because it's already open in another window.
Plug your cam in, don't turn it on, open manycam, and try connecting that way.
Re: Manycam, Logitech C615 and Mac
Still no luck with manycam and my logitech... I am very puzzled... I have posted on their facebook page, and the reply was oh,, yeah you are on a Mac... we are working on this problem.... but to what I can make out here, some of you ladies are working it successfully.
I was wondering though what application do you guys add in camtwist at the preferences for mfc???? I have added safari, but if I log on it does not still come up in the options when I start my webcam there.
thx
Re: Manycam, Logitech C615 and Mac
When I had a mac w/a built in Isight I had to make the Isight connect to something else first so that it was busy and the camming site saw the "back up cam" since the Isight was busy.
With your usb cam plugged in, turn on Photobooth or Imovie in record mode. The mac programs should take the Isight. With that still running, connect to your cam site. It should pick up the USB cam, since the other one is already busy.
Re: Manycam, Logitech C615 and Mac
Ok. MFC does pick up my logitech with no problems. I'd like to run it through camtwist or Manycams though, so I can watermark things.
I have done just like you suggested with my built in camera and I still get the same message from manycams...
I can connect the logitech to camtwist, but once I log onto mfc It does not come up as an option (I'm running the software in the browser). So if anybody knows what code/application I need to add for in the camtwist preferences, so it can connect to mfc it would be great. I have already added safari, but it still does not work for some reason.
Anybody????
Re: Manycam, Logitech C615 and Mac
try using google chrome instead of safari...for some reason safari never picks up my camtwist.
oh and make sure that u open camtwist and select ur logitech there BEFORE u start any browser.
