Wishlist Questions
I'm completely clueless as to how to do the wishlist thing safely. If they are mailing me something, doesn't it show my address? Or some info I wouldn't want disclosed? I imagine if I were doing it on Amazon or something like that obviously I'd have to make a new account just for my alter ego, with a different e-mail and stuff like that?

Re: Wishlist Questions
somehow the amazon wishlist shows your real address in certain cases.

Re: Wishlist Questions
So how do most of the girls on here go about that then?

Re: Wishlist Questions
I don't know about everyone else, but I set my wishlist up with an unlisted address, and mention that I can only accept payment for gifts through Amazon gift card. I think this is a pretty popular way of doing it if I'm not mistaken.

Re: Wishlist Questions
I just really want to vouch for http://www.maillinkplus.com. You can get awesome mail forwarding packages there in your alias that will only show up as a Las Vegas address.

Re: Wishlist Questions
You can make one on nordstrom.com that doesn't show your address.

Re: Wishlist Questions
Nordstrom.com still shows the purchaser your city and state. Also, when you are putting your 'real, super-secret-confidential' shipping address, that box prompts you for a name, as well... which leads you to believe that you can put in your real name, and it will also be treated as 'private' and not revealed to the buyer.
Not true.
When someone tries to buy an item off your nordstrom wishlist, and they are prompted to select a shipping address, they can either put in their own shipping address, or they have the option of selecting a radio button labeled "Or, ship to Janice, in Boston, MA."
I have yet to find a wishlist where you can enter a truly private shipping address. If someone has better luck, speak up!!!
