Found a video on Xhamster, emailed streamate to send a DMCA and sent one myself. Streamates reply was that xhamster was an affiliated corporation and they don't have to remove the video. Its in my contract that they own my video feed. I can't believe they basically replied "too bad its in your contract"

Agreed that if the webcam host site has included blurbage granting them the copyright for camgirl video streams ( which is frequently the case these days ), there is little or nothing that a camgirl can do to force the removal of video clips which the webcam host has distributed ... or for that matter to force the removal of webcam host transmitted video streams that custy's have capped and posted.
While some tube sites may voluntarily remove such posted comment on request, in point of fact a camgirl who does NOT own the copyright to her own video streams has near zero legal 'leverage' to force removal if the tube sites do not volunteer to do so.
Ugh, sorry BootieBabe.
In another thread GR raises an option in dealing with affiliates who are using content with the permission of sm:
Assuming that this strategy would work with any type of affiliate content, it's a trade-off. Farther down in the quoted thread GR describes being removed from promotions as a form of "mega-geo-block", meaning that the ability for new customers to find you is somewhat limited. Not ideal :( Still, it is an option for chicas who already have a ton of regulars and need to have recorded material removed for personal reasons.
Another idea....not sure if it would work but it seems most of the people who have had sm-authorized videos successfully removed dealt with a higher-up sm employees rather than general model support. Perhaps try contacting Liz regarding this specific video? I have no idea whether it would work but may be worth a try? It seems like with a lot of things on sm answers vary depending upon who one talks to. Yes, sm owns the videos streams of chicas who work their site but there does seem to be a bit of wiggle room depending upon who one speaks to.
Update, Vporn emailed me back and removed the video YAY, although its been on there 2 months and i have only just noticed.
It was for cams for free on vporn site just clicked the link again and it says video deleted.
Its a pain on sm at times, not sure what to do for the best but don't want my placement getting mucked up either by me doing a geo block or new guys coming my way.
I guess its just one of those risks we all take, my family know my job (well ok they would of been shocked seeing that clip of me with two dildos hanging out the back end) but they roughly know ;)
All i am trying to protect is my children as kids can be cruel at school, although i am trying to bring them up that sex is not dirty!! xx
