GOLD shows and the Daily Time Online function...
Don't you just hate how it processes each individual GOLD show member as though they were separate shows, and so it shows up that you've been online for like 18 hours when in reality it was more like 2 or something? I really wish SM would fix this, because there are times I actually wish I knew what my daily time in paid chat was! But because I do GOLD shows 90% of the time, I have absolutely no idea.
Re: GOLD shows and the Daily Time Online function...
I am not really sure that the Gold shows messed up the time in paid how we originally thought. What is your percent in paid? I find that mine is fairly consistent even when I do all gold shows or no gold shows.
Re: GOLD shows and the Daily Time Online function...
Yeah, if you look at daily time online then it should show you your actual online minutes. The problem then is that your % of time in chat is low because the time spent in the gold show countdowns counts as time not in paid chat. The minutes you see on your pay stats are different, and do count the gold show members in the way you said, ie each minute is separate for each member.
Re: GOLD shows and the Daily Time Online function...
I track my own hours and am pretty strict on it when i log on and off i'll write it down in a journal and
its not accurate. It always says i am on alot less than i am it can be off by an hour or 2 and that
doesnt help when im trying to figure my hourly. I thought maybe its because it doesnt count those 20 seconds
it gives us after pvt. Idk ....
Does anyone know why my time that SM tracks that im online is actually
less than i am REALLY on?
Re: GOLD shows and the Daily Time Online function...
^^^ Hmm... The only thing I am thinking of that could explain why it is off by that much is if you are not accounting for breaks? I tend to take a 6-8 minute smoke/potty/clean up break every hour so if you deduct those minutes, plus deduct all the 30 second blocks where I'm waiting to go back into free after a private, I could see how what looks like a 5 hour shift actually only tranlates into four hours of actual broadcast time.
