tip based sites
I'm used to camming on a site that is primarily shows.
I'm just starting with some tip based sites, and feeling a bit lost. seems that it's mostly guys expecting you to do things for free.... the site I'm working is 1 tolken per 15 cents if memory serves.
can anyone give me advice on what they do to bring in the tips, and how much they charge to do what? Such as how much for a dance, to show your fanny, that sort of thing?
ty!

Re: tip based sites
Look around the site that you are on to see what other girls charge. Creep their rooms to see how they deal with that type of site. That would be the best way of finding out your approximate starting point.

Re: tip based sites
guys dont "expect u to do things for free" at all. this is what appears to be the case. they are not expecting it at all, they are 'trying' to get it for free, but it is not expected, not from the premiums. from the basics and guests maybe since i figure they just stumbled across the site from an advert advertising free cams. but the 1s who matter (premiums) only try to get it free they dont expect you to actually cave in to demands. ban them all who say "tits pls" without tipping. they will not say it nxt time they come in your room then. most are just having a laugh, cam site is meant to be fun right? some guys think its fun to act like a jerk. i sometimes go on the guys cams on chaturbate and act like a jerk (the ones who are 'exhibitionists' not the 1s doing it for a living), not my proudest moments, but it sure is fun. Anyway yeah thats all.

Re: tip based sites
^ Actually, I am pretty sure I know what site you're talking about (CamFlare?) and those guys DO expect things for free. They honestly do not understand that it's a pay to play site and they genuinely don't understand why you won't get naked and masturbate for free. It's not like other sites I've seen where the freebie seekers may try to get a free show but don't really expect it; guys on CamFlare don't freaking get it. (It's so bad that I've actually emailed admin asking where they are getting such low quality traffic, but their only response is that they will reply back to me soon.)
I'm still trying to find my way on token based sites but as far as the one that I was very successful on (xpeeps) I just figured out what I wanted to make that night and then adjusted my mini-goals accordingly. So let's say I wanted to make, I dunno, say 600 tokens that night. I'd put in the room topic that I'd to a tippers only cum show at goal. And then I'd set mini-goals along the way, like topless at 400 (2/3 of the way to goal). Or I'd do a sexy striptease for 100 tokens (1/6 of the way to goal). I found that rewarding guys with these mini-teases helped keep them tipping for the main event.
I'm the type that has no problem showing my bare boobies or g-string clad booty so I always say I'll flash for however much they feel like giving BUT bigger tips get longer flashes/more play and smaller tips get shorter flashes/less play. Guys are usually pretty generous with that attitude because they know they are getting what they pay for, and if someone came along and tipped low someone else would usually tip for more right after because they don't want me to stop and know I won't show for free.
One feature that I do like about CamFlare (assuming that's the site you're talking about) is that you can see exactly how many tokens each member has. Try to take that into account when you are trying to hustle for tips. If your goal is 600 until cum show but the guys only have a combined total of 100 tokens, they're probably not going to tip towards something that doesn't look like it's happening any time soon. I'd push something not as extreme/less costly at that point, like offer a striptease for 75 tokens or something. You're much more likely to get it.

Re: tip based sites
I just worked my first night on CamFlare. Yes I definitely got the impression that the guys in my room had no clue how these sites work. There were a few people in there who get it but I'm guessing those are regs brought over from xpeeps or other models cuz they seemed to really know what they were talking about. There were a few guys who seemed to think it was a dating site and just didn't understand why I wouldn't hook up with them or come live with them. There was a lot of traffic but nobody had tokens, nor did they even want to bother with making a members account even though that was free. I also got some "is this real? wave if this is real." I'm wondering if I was a pop-up on a porn or dating site....
