Want to AUDITION....QUESTIONS upon QUESTIONS
Hello.
I really want to audition somewhere to dance but...
How? Do I call? Go the the actual club?
What are good clubs to audition for in Los Angeles?
Who will I more than likely be auditioning for? Customers already in the club? Management?
A general idea on what to expect and what are the clubs looking for?
I have been taking pole classes and I do know how to dance, it's just a matter of making this happen.
Thanks for the words.
Re: Want to AUDITION....QUESTIONS upon QUESTIONS
If you run a search and peruse the Newbie Board, you'll find that all of your questions have been answered extensively, and you'll be able to read about other girls' auditioning experiences.
That said, call the club and ask about their hiring process for dancers. Some will require a formal audition and some will just want you to show up so they can see what you look like. Some only like to see new girls on certain days/times while others don't really care. You could also just show up (I'd recommend shortly after opening on a weekday), but calling will save you the potential of making a trip for nothing if a hiring manager isn't in or they have an audition day. If you end up doing a formal audition, it'll most likely be on stage for customers already in the club and management.
Good luck!
