Re: Remember to take the time to vote today ladies-camming future could be affected
^ Thank you, Melonie. I know a lot of girls on here don't agree with you but everything you're stating in the above post is exactly what I'm thinking.
The good news is, I am only 60 miles from the U.S.-Mexico border. If camming is outlawed I swear I will buy a car, go down to Mexico (where prostitution is completely legal), and become an escort. Heck, I will permanently move to Mexico if that's what it takes to be safe. Not only securing my financial future, but what about proposed wars with Iran? Does anyone else think of this???

I have voted and other than the presidential election, every other issue on the ballot was state or city related, not federal. So I can't answer that question. In my state (Arizona), in addition to voting for the president we voted on whether or not to increase sales tax in 2013, whether or not the city where I live should be allowed to get bonds to improve roads (there are a lot of dirt roads here, but voting yes would increase taxes), whether or not a school district in my city should be allowed to go over budget, who should become the new sheriff (and I live in the poor part of town where crime is a HUGE part of our daily life) etc. etc. Depending on where you live you may have been mailed a General Election Guide a couple of months ago, which will give you some very general information.

us brits are really praying that obama gets voted back in. it is safe to say with romney in power the world will end within the next four years. i personally also happen to the samuel l jackson advert supporting obama, its the best i have seen and wish our political campaigns could be like that.

If Johnson can get 5% of the popular vote it will allow the libertarian party access to millions of campaign dollars in 2016. THAT would actually make a difference.
Unless you live in a swing state, if you vote Johnson, it will make a difference. If you don't live in a swing state and you vote Romney OR Obama just to go with "the lesser of two evils", that's not going to make a huge difference. That's why I've voted for Gary Johnson and I'm proud of it.
This. I like Johnson the best and I live in Illinois so no chance Obama loses here. I know politics aren't supposed to be allowed but Romney/Ryan is one of the most anti woman ballots we have had for years. They oppose Ledbetter Act and of course Romney believes women need to get home early so they can fix dinner. I am actually very fiscally conservative but I fear a Romney election for all women, sex industry workers and non sex industry workers both.

If camming is outlawed
Again sticking to a simple statement of facts regarding the SOPA / PIPA bills, there doesn't appear to be anything in the proposed legislation that would 'outlaw' camming. What IS in the proposed legislation is a US gov't mandate that MasterCard and Visa could no longer process online credit card charges by US based would-be online customers for a non-US based website accused of copyright violation by the US copyright owner. There doesn't appear to be anything in the proposed legislation that would apply similar sanctions to US based websites.
(snip)many are worried about a provision in SOPA that would essentially allow content owners to obtain unopposed court orders forcing online advertising networks and payment processors, such as MasterCard and PayPal, to shut off services to foreign sites that the content owners decide are infringing on their property.(snip) from
This provision was heavily lobbied for by the Hollywood movie industry, the US recording industry, the US cable TV industry, etc. ... who also are documented to be major supporters and contributors to Barack Obama.

Re: Remember to take the time to vote today ladies-camming future could be affected
(This has nothing to do with anything, but can I tell you that people are Really, Really stupid? Please don't let stupid people vote.)
I saw this on my facebook feed, posted by a young Mormon guy I know: "Your vote matters. Not just because soldiers risk their lives for this privilege, or the founding fathers fought for this right, but because we have seen the effects of popular vote off-setting electoral in 2000."
To which I replied, "Actually? No. Al Gore won the popular vote in 2000, and he did NOT become president. Please do not make up history as you see fit."
And then he replied, "So soldiers don't defend the right to vote, there was no revolutionary war, and there was no controversy in the Florida polls? ...in which Bush won the popular and eventually electoral vote and DID become president... and your vote does not matter? And I am not American? And not entitled to an opinion? Well alright"
So I couldn't help but add, "You said that the popular vote offset the electoral college decision in 2000. I am saying that is a fallacy. http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0876793.html "Florida" is not a country. Nation-wide, Gore won the popular vote. Have a look at the numbers and tell me I am wrong."
People, if you are going to vote, PLEASE know what the issues are. Please understand how the system works, unlike Peter Priesthood Mormon boy up here. Good God, the idiocy hurts my brain. I am a Mormon, but knowing that many ignorant Mormons are voting for Romney Solely Because He Is Mormon Regardless Of Knowing A Thing About His Policies... Lord, the prospect of moving down to Mexico seems more and more appealing by the minute!

Re: Remember to take the time to vote today ladies-camming future could be affected
I'm voting for Roseann Barr, but I'm about 99% sure Obama is going to win the election. Mitt Romney was not a strong enough candidate and has been trying to run for a while now (6 years). Under his time as governor gay marriage passed in MA. Republicans do NOT like this. How he got the party nominee I honestly will never know. No one ever wanted him to be president at any CRC events, but one kid Brian. lmao
Doesn't matter who I vote for though bc my district is very democrat so the electoral college in my area will vote for Obama.

Awwww, the feeling is mutual girl! The men in my town are VERY conservative (only on the streets) so that's been my slogan to get them to vote for Obama.
You will get lots of hugs and kisses since I am strictly dickly.

And YES, y'all, you can put THAT on my slogan platform every day of the week :D
(And y'all are lucky, that ignorant Mormon I encountered? He got his "aunt" to petition that that they get a "fundraiser" started to get me out of the country, because I called them on their B.S. agenda. Mmm Hmm! Can't even voice my opinion in this state without being told I should vote for Obama since he's black like me. Bunch of whitey hillbillies. I can't take this place no mo'! People ain't got no damn sense out here!)

I was wondering how Mormons feel when people say they have to vote for him because of this. I am Catholic and several Catholic people told me I should be voting for Romney because of the abortion issue. However, being a Catholic we are supposed to help the poor, it's part of our religion. Yes abortion is considered wrong by the religion (btw I don't agree with this and am prochoice)but so is starving people like Ryan believes in.

Well I haven't been to Mormon church in over a month (I've chosen to work and better myself, as Sundays are my most lucrative days on cam)...
Mormons... Are funny :P
I attend a university singles ward where the majority of church members are 18-22-year-olds, this is their first time being away from mommy and daddy, and they'll be going back to live under their parents' authority as soon as the semester is over. I'm a 27-year-old who's lived on her own and I have been my sole supporter since the age of 20 so maybe my perceptions are a bit... biased? Most Mormons that I know are VERY idealistic and do not have clear concepts of how the world works outside of what they have been taught. When it comes to the church's "official" stance, we have been told that if a member of the local media comes to our church and questions our beliefs we are to claim ignorance and direct questions to our bishop and/or stake president. So basically, if someone from the "outside" questions us, we cannot answer. We are allowed to express our individual autonomy but if you are friends with other Mormons you will be guilted into voting Romney, just because he is a Mormon, too. And if you don't fall into that guilt (like I haven't) you will be personally attacked, told that you are "un-American" and you'll have people you don't even know proposing that they raise funds to kick you out of the country. That is how Mormons in my state operate, anyway.

(My cat is not very happy that I am kissing his forehead egregiously right now, but, I would have been giving him kisses and cuddles just because it's Tuesday and he has a cute kitty face. Yay Obama?)
