I feel the same way about Ant Man. The trailers didn't get me all excited about seeing the movie. They are so many movies that I want to see, but I just don't make the time to see them or I'm doing something else. I haven't even seen Jurassic World or Age of Ultron. I might just go see them at the dollar movies.

I wonder why they didn't make the Hank Pym version, since he was a founding Avenger and the creator of Ultron in the comics. The new Terminator is getting awful reviews, but I'm tempted anyway, partially because of Emilia Clarke.
I hope there's a scene in a future episode of "Game of Thrones" where Dany and Cersei meet, so we can see two Sarah Conners face off...
I did not see the trailer but it was great, I loved it! Most of my friends did too. I loved Michael Douglas character and Evageline Lilly was so beautiful in the movie! I enjoyed it more than Age of ultron :) I'm a big fan of superhero movies!

So I was like 'It's actually a guy singing it,' and he was like 'Wow he really sounds like a girl.' LOL. Then when the video comes on and he sees Bruno for the first time he goes: "Oh he's a schwarze," and I was like 'Actually I think he's like Hawaiian.' I just wikipedia-d Bruno and apparently his dad was half-Jewish so I'm going to tell my landlord that the next time I see him. He's so old I think it might make his brain explode though.
Schwarze. 1. Literally, the German word for the color black.

^^I'm aware, I took German in high school. I was talking about its Yiddish meaning.

Re: The Totally Random Thread...
Everytime I apply for a job online, even though I know I've proof read my CV a thousand times and so have the 5 other people that have looked over it in the last month, and I have my cover letter template that has also been looked over by 3 other people and I've proof read the parts I've changed 10 times at this point... I'm so nervous to press "send" because a part of me is like "no there must be a typo somewhere! read that over paragraph again, the last one... are you sure the name is right?" once I have everything done and ready to go, fifteen minutes always passes before I actually press send as I go to proof-read something I proof-read 100 today already.
I hate looking for work.

I actually enjoyed a lot of the retro motels I stayed at. It felt cozier than the nasty- ass ugly budget rooms of Super 8 or some Motel 6s. (Hotels chains so generic they use numbers as names, ha ha.)

Re: The Totally Random Thread...
There are two sick trends this year.
Cops easily harming/killing blacks for nothing, and lots of animal cruelty stories(ex. Caitlyn the dog and Cecil the lion).
This is all I see in the news. SMH

Just got back from "Ant Man." Liked it quite a bit; it was a very different movie than "Age of Ultron." The beginning is almost exactly like that of "Batman Beyond."
Wish the actor who played Paxton had been the main villain; he was a great psychopath on "Boardwalk Empire."
The shrinking/enlarging discs were a neat idea, but they raise all sorts of questions. Like, why not hurl a few of them at a farmer's market and feed the entire world? Shrink all the garbage and put it into a small Ziplock instead of landfills? Build model houses for a few bucks, then enlarge them for the homeless? Just about any limited resource (fresh water, donor blood, and so on) could become unlimited with that technology. The benefit seems to outweigh the danger presented in the film.
Liked the subtle allusion to Spider-Man now existing in the Marvel Movie Universe.
Yeah, I was crushing on Evangeline Lilly quite a bit. You just knew she was going to end up with a Wasp suit.
But that end credits scene? After getting NONE with "Age of Ultron," I was hoping for something better than that.

Yes. I am sad that he will reportedly have little screen time in GoT. I don't know anything about the potential characters he may play, but it would be interesting to see him in more of a "good guy" role.
Deadwood was a good show. McShane and Olyphant were perfectly cast. McShane played a man like Al Swearengen (who was actually said to be even worse in real life) and actually made you like him. And the writers literally raised profanity to an art form. :) HBO totally screwed them out of a fourth season. Then they got our hopes up with a promise of a mini series, but that fell through, too. They should still do it, now that Olyphant is done with Justified (also a damn good show). Just set it after the fire which destroyed much of the town (I think it happened a few years after season three took place). History itself gives them a reboot.

I totally believe the real Swearengen was much worse. The Wild West was a real nightmare until the railroad could reach towns...IMO that'w why Midwesterners are so comically repressed, it was a free-for-all until the Gov. & Big Business came to town to put order to things. They also gave away land to farmers to speed up the settling of the region.
//the more you know.

I'd love to know the circumstances of his death. He reportedly died from a "massive head wound," but nothing else is known. I remember reading that he was completely broke when he died, despite the Gem Saloon pulling in thousands a day.
I just saw a cheesy documentary about Seth Bullock. The actors they have playing Bullock and Swearengen really make you appreciate Olyphant and McShane.

Re: The Totally Random Thread...
You know it's time to stop looking at an artist's portfolio when the following happens:
1) You're looking to get a cover up and they suck so bad at doing cover ups that you wonder what went through their mind that they thought it was a good idea to put the HORRIBLE after shots it in their portfolio.
2) A chick walks in to get a piercing and asks, "Will you take my ID if it is expired?"
Chick at counter, "Sure, why not?"
Chick getting piercing, "Awesome! The last shop I was at refused to take it. They said it was probably fake"
Yaa....
