Tell me what you think? new logo/watermark * need feedback
just finished my logo/wm and may i say i am very proud of myself ;D not only because i did this myself but for having patients. lol
took me about 3days of youtubeing and googleing to get re-familiarize with Photoshop and soon figured out it wasn't much different from when i last
used it back in 08 i believe, just more added features. i was just being a lazy brat and didn't want to learn. :P anyways it's nothing too special but i tried to
make it very ORIGINAL and universal as i can, a few feed back on this would be great. im planing on using this on EVERYTHING maybe just change the
font and color but i was thinking when streaming on SM adding "streamate.com" on the bottom in smaller letters, same thing would go for my youtube channel or
SW profile but didn't want it to look so bulky, hopefully you guys can help debate on that part.
here is the finished product!

I don't know much (or anything at all about watermarkes) but I like it.
I have a question about where you found the image of the girl. Is it just something you find on, like, google images? Do you have to worry about an image being copy righted to use it as a watermark? I've been thinking about making one too but it's really confusing me.
Re: Tell me what you think? new logo/watermark * need feedback
i found the girl on google images and no images like those are called silhouettes and they are MOSTLY non copy righted. some of them you will see a clear watermark on it but allot of time people just watermark a free photo and sell it. in other cases you may see the same silhouette but without a watermark (most of the time they are bigger and better quality) and when that happens either someone bought it and shared it online so there for it is no longer copy righted. the only ones you should only and really worry about is silhouettes of copy righted characters (i.e tweety bird) even if it wasn't a copyrighted character but was instead a recognizable celebrity's silhouette, there still may be a state -based claim against you as as a publicity right infringement. so when you google for a silhouette similar to the one i have, just type in something between the lines of "sexy women/girl silhouettes" or "stripper pole silhouettes". there is a silhouette for basically EVERYTHING but some is hard to come across like the one i found (on accident) so if you want one lets say of a girl with a whip type in something like "girl whip silhouettes" for better results try not to type the word "free" because it seems when you type that in google you come up with everything else other than free. lol hope i helped sweety and good luck!
OH! and thank you ladies both! ( :
Edit: i also forgot to add that if you was to see the same silhouette but different watermarks, go ahead and use it because in most cases it doesn't belong to anybody. just know that it is really hard for someone to copyright a silhouette, if you have any other questions i'll try my best to help.

Adorable :) Great colors!
Re: Tell me what you think? new logo/watermark * need feedback
That looks like Darrians Sexy Silhouettes...he has a pretty huge/impressive line of dingbats that are silhouettes of sexy ladies. Ive used his work before, and at least for the sets that I used, it was fine to use with/in anything, as long as it was not sold commercially.
Btw, def do not think an design cannot belong to anyone just because its a silhouette...someone still designed it, and if they wished to copyright and place usage right on their image they definitely can, whether or not its in full colour. To be sure though, I would look up his silhouettes, cause Im about 99% sure thats his work, to see if you can find any usage rights info for it...but Im also prettty sure you dont have to worry about using it in your logo.

A shout out to a fellow font nerd! That's what I was going to say!

Re: Tell me what you think? new logo/watermark * need feedback
YaY! It takes a dingbat to know one right?! :D
Ive researched and seen and used sooooo many fonts over the years,
I find myself recognizing the name of a font before registering what the word actually is.
Theres a store I keep calling Papyrus, when I first saw it my first thought was...seriously?!
been here and driving past it for 10yrs, and still cant for the life of me remember the actual name of it lol
