Freaking Out :( My nude pix were seen by a family member
The thing is, I don't even TAKE nude pix for camming. I do mostly non nude and I will occasionally get nude in my cam shows, but rarely in vids or pix. I have gotten over the idea of someone finding my cam persona and am okay with it bc I'm confident in what I do and love my job.
Here's the part that really sucks. These fucking photos are pix I sent a boyfriend when I was like 15. So they are nude pix of me showing my face and giving oral. It's been so many years since I've even seen that scum bag, I figured he would have deleted them. Guess not. Now some jerk is using my pix on this disgustingly slutty twitter with thousands of followers. I'm sooo stressed out I don't know what to do. Is there anything I can do to report this person since the pix are when I was underage?
I'm so anxious Idk what to do, someone help calm me down plz.... :( I'm so grossed out that my male family member has now seen me nude!!!! Ughhh and I'm scared that there are more just waiting to be found that this douchebag has sent out. Never saw this coming.

Re: Freaking Out :( My nude pix were seen by a family member
If I report the twitter to the police 1. are they even going to care 2. will it even matter because thousands have probably saved these photos already 3. will *I* get in trouble for helping take these photos? I don't want to have to dig up contact info on this high school bf..... I just want the pix taken down... ahghhh... so stressed.
Edit - I really don't think it's the ex bf running the account. Whoever it is is posting asking for nude pic trades with guys and posting all sorts of nasty shit.

Re: Freaking Out :( My nude pix were seen by a family member
^ Yeah, the cops will definitely be interested. Your part in the photos being taken is irrelevant. The fact is that photos were illegally taken of you in an illegal situation depicting this illegal content, and there's 3 instances of the word 'illegal' in that. That will definitely get their attention. Since it's on the internet, the FBI definitely will be too, especially given all the implications

Actually... this isn't true. She admitted that she sent the photos. How you deal with this will have to be done very carefully. As you sent the photos to your bf, even though you were both underage, you were trafficking child pornography. I'm not trying to be a debbie-downer I just want you to be careful because even if you were underage when it happened you still sent and took the pictures, therefore you're at risk too. If I were you I'd only contact twitter and not go to the police! Just be careful however you deal with this!

^ Exactly. I just watched an episode of law & order where they sent a 16 yr old girl to prison for texting nude pix of herself. I contacted twitter and sent an anonymous tip to the cyber tip line. I'm trying to just hope there aren't any worse photos and shake this off and remember it's not that big of a deal, right???? They're just boobs... and everyone (or almost everyone) gives head.... I was in high school it's in the past.... right??? and I don't think any of my cam custies would recognize it as being me cuz I used to have completely different hair and make up.... I just hope.

I wasn't suggesting she do absolutely nothing or even implying that she should learn from her mistake. I just wanted her to be aware of the risks as she seems like a rational adult who would think over the consequences rather tab a teen who would think "either I go to jail too or accept that everyone sees this picture for ever" and take her own life. I got in trouble for something similar when I was underage because I sent a picture to my bf and somehow the school got a hold of his phone and "accidentally" went through it. They didn't go to the police but did explain to both of us the possible repercussions of our actions should they contact real authorities. I'm assuming the OP doesn't want anyone to go to jail for this, that's why I gave her this information. Definitely not fear mongering.

Sorry I didn't mean to respond so agressively. This is just a very hot button topic for me as I was very active in victim's rights in the past when I was going to school to be a lawyer (before I changed my career path). I just really wish the world wasn't full of dbags who send things like that out. I just want to hug everyone who has ever had to deal with that crap, and slap anyone who blames them for it. People make mistakes and it is silly when things are used against them as opposed to the people who are distributing those things and are the true criminals. *hugs* I still <3 you and everyone else on here :)

Contact the FBI asap. Preferably the local office in your area.

It's not an "attitude" it's the law. Many states if you sent the picture in the first place you can be held accountable for distributing child pornography. I don't see how it's an "attitude" to clarify the possible legal ramifications.
I do think that it is in the OPs best interest to pursue legal action as the likelihood of her being prosecuted are slim (but may exist depending on the legal jurisdictions that this would fall under.
Please do not claim to be particularly educated on a subject in an effort to dispel the educated claims of another. Your knowledge does not negate the knowledge of another nor the need for the OP to be fully informed. This is a very serious issue and all the knowledge available should be presented and "attitudes" like you just presented are the reason people do not present their knowledge even though they feel it is valuable.

I already apologized for my harsh response.

It's child pornography, plain and simple. Report his ass to the police.

OMG, girl, I was JUST about to post about this episode...lol. Law and Order Special Victims Unit is my favorite T.V. show, and I immediately thought of that episode when I read this thread.
I am sorry for what you're going through, limecoconut.

^^ I second this. They're really cracking down on child pornography, and because you technically took part it in, I'd keep the police out of it. Your best bet is to threaten the person posting them with a lawsuit and inform them that they are distributing child pornography. If that isn't enough for them, then I think you're SOL and just going to have to do damage control.

Re: Freaking Out :( My nude pix were seen by a family member
First, I don't know that we should be taking legal and criminal advice from a TV drama, just sayin. ;)
Second, that the pictures are out there without your consent and need to be taken down seems to be a side issue here (aside from the fact that perhaps you can sue the living fuck out of him). OP is concerned that her family has seen the pictures. The important thing now is that you make sure they know that these pictures were private photos you and he took when you were, "young and dumb" and that you're working on getting them taken down. He violated your privacy. You need to do whatever you can to make sure your family knows this was a bit of youthful indiscretion on your part (which you meant to keep 100% private) and that he's the one at fault here.

I wasn't giving her advice based on a TV show...lol. :P I was commenting on a post that mentioned SVU, because I watch that show too, and this thread reminded me of that episode. By the way, SVU episodes are often "ripped from the headlines" or based on real crimes that have received media attention, so while it is a TV drama, it's a TV drama often based on real-life news stories.

Re: Freaking Out :( My nude pix were seen by a family member
^ Yes. While I would never take legal advice *strictly* from a tv show - it is good to think of all *possible* consequences before taking any action. Then further researching what might happen in the real world.
So twitter still has not removed the profile and this person is still posting. I made a fake account and am threatening legal action.. trying to use a lot of scary words lol. Any suggestions?
I want to get to the source of the photos to see what I'm up against. Taking down this one person won't really do much because I doubt my ex bf sent the pix directly to them... I just really hope he didn't post anything worse.
Thanks for all your support you guys, it feels really scary & lonely to not have control over something like this...

Re: Freaking Out :( My nude pix were seen by a family member
How exactly did you contact Twitter?
According to the help center you need to send an email to [email protected] "including a link to the profile and links to the relevant tweets that lead you to believe the account should be investigated" https://support.twitter.com/articles/37370
You can also report them here -https://support.twitter.com/forms/abusiveuser but the email above should get a better response.
You should then follow the same procedures as you would for any copyrighted image or video. Use google image search to see if and where its posted any where else on the net. And then take the appropriate action.

Re: Freaking Out :( My nude pix were seen by a family member
You know, you can always call your local police department (and if you don't know, you can call 911, apologize and ask for the local PDs number. I've done it before when there hasn't been super time sensitive crimes being committed) ask to be transferred to whoever handles child porn, and ASK them.
I doubt you're going to get into trouble because it was years ago for you and before police started censuring teens involved in their nude pictures. But just ask. I've called vice before to ask about private party dancing in a new city and that way you can get some solid info if twitter doesn't slam that asshole into the ground, or at least delete the photos.
