I wouldn't see a movie like that more than likely because it doesn't sound that impressive. Anyway my opinion of these titles:
Not Waiting For Tomorrow: Sounds like a movie where a couple breaks up and realizes they are meant for each other. Not my type of movie.
Next Song: Sounds like either a romantic comedy about a couple who were songwriting team or one where someone is dying.
Better Way Out: Action movie about a guy wrongly imprisoned and going after the corrupt people who did it to him.
Gang Aft Agley: Action where the FBI is going after a spy.
Pie in the Sky: Disaster movie or perhaps a movie about a plane that sells pies.
I like your spin on those titles!
But my idea for Pie in the Sky is like a disaster movie. No stripper wants to deal with a puppy love customer and no customer should throw himself in a jam over a stripper. But it happens probably every week in some club somewhere in the country.
I'm still working on it and pitching the title/plot to anyone I see. I'm getting mixed responses, but that's OK for now. Some movies don't get a title until post-production (everything filmed) American Pie was East Great Falls High until the last minute.
OK I am stealing this!
There's a contest in Shreveport I need to do, but it has to be filmed in Shreveport. Which means Pie In the Sky/One Bad Tip is out, because my locations (and so the plot) are all local. I may do this, first. LOL.
Hey Doc, Tarantino just won Best Writer for this year! Go campy! It's so right now.
Yeah Doc, what's up?:)
So... the movie I was talking about here is on hold for a while.
I wrote a different script, a thriller. Five strippers do a private party where they find one of the guests is beaten -- Easy Money.
If anyone wants to read it, let me know. I'd appreciate your input!
Well, this is turning into a novel. Easy Money is still the first thing I'll film. It's a side story which introduces the characters; Brett the infatuated custy, Starbuck the new girl, Marie the mother hen, Foxxy too honest for her own good, Breeze the extra girl everyone loves to hate, Kaya the pretentious princess, and Rebel the crazy bitch everyone's scared of until they need her.
From there, I'll start Pie in the Sky, which the way I'm writing it, will either be a long feature length movie containing multiple stories, like Pulp Fiction, or a series with each chapter being an episode.
In a side note, I've been watching Trailer Park Boys. It's great and I felt the portrayal of stripping, albeit trashy to fit the show, was pretty good. My favorite part was Bubbles getting kicked out for stealing drinks! "This place makes me frisky!"
"Easy Money" was a good 80s movie with rodney dangerfield, joe pesci, jennifer jason-leigh.
I dont go to the movies i just get the bluray & watch on my beautiful home theatre system at home.
No annoying people:
yakking on their phones
getting up to go to bathroom
insane tix $$
gum on seat
insane concession $$
people saying "what did he say ?"
people saying 'what did he say when i said what did he say ?"
u get the drift.
Joe Pesci was in that?? It was also a 2010 movie and a 1936 one. Since this is just a short to guage interest on the longer picture, I didn't want too original a title. But, I'll try to think of a better one.
I'm still looking for critiques, if anyone want to read the 40 pg script.
How much are you offering?:)
How about "Crotch Rocket and the Kool Man" as the title? Stripper rides crotch rockets at club, customer smokes Kools.
