Can I get arrested for showing up for a "body rub girl" interview?
I replied to an ad on CL and a woman called me and wants to meet up tomorrow in the city. She gave me an address and after google mapping it, it's an apt bldg. I'm so afraid she might be a cop. How can I tell and avoid getting arrested? All I know is I also looked up the nearest precinct and it's only 2 blocks and an avenue away.:-\
On the phone she did not discuss any obvious details that would make me suspicious like "oh you know you are exchanging money for a hand job right?" or anything that would outright get recorded and screw me legally....She did ask if I had ever worked in the industry like stripping and I said yes.She also said on the phone to "call me when you are in front of the bldg" which scares me because I keep imagining cops swarming out from nowhere and arresting me and it being an awful day in my life. How can I be safe about meeting her?

Honestly, if you have a bad feeling about it then don't go through with it.
Also, why aren't you indy and screening clients yourself? Is there a reason why? There's a lot of good posts on here about screening that would make you fully capable of handling your own clients. In my opinion (and a lot of other ladies) indy is better safety wise because there is no one else who has your best interests at heart more than you!
I was arrested, not for body rubs, and the guy sounded completely normal. He also got naked. It honestly doesn't matter what you say or don't say most of the time, once you're there, that's it. I'm not saying this to scare you, but that's the truth. So again, use your intuition.
If you can try to get more info on this person. Who's to say the lady that answered the phone isn't some pimp's girl? Or worse?
Hoping some other ladies can chime in with their input, since body rubs aren't my expertise.
I'm concerned about this. Craigslist in general just isn't a good place for this kind of thing.
Please be careful.

If the massage parlour/agency has an ad on CL, I'd be surprised if they didn't also have a website. Google their name and see what comes up. If nothing, run.
Re: Can I get arrested for showing up for a "body rub girl" interview?
When I used to do bodyrubs they were at a business location and not a residential area. Maybe times have changed but I would definitely be concerned with that as well. With the increased foot traffic there not only will it be hard to be UTR, it would only be a matter of time that the neighbors notice and that definitely is not good for business. Just like a previous posts I have known of girls getting arrested that didn't even say what they were going to do as well as being arrested with an naked undercover cop that placed the girls hand on his private area. Sure that one was able to get out of that charge but by then the damage was done with her name plastered over the news. Definitely not trying to scare you but definitely do like it has been suggested...google search, perhaps consider going indy and screen, and ALWAYS trust your instincts...after all it is called a sixth sense for a reason....best of luck to you

First up, as others said ALWAYS trust your instincts! They should have a legitimate-looking website, info that comes up on google, maybe some kind of reviews online. Even if it's not cops, a couple of people running a shady business out of an apartment building sounds like a bad idea.
Re: Can I get arrested for showing up for a "body rub girl" interview?
When I first started massaging, I agreed to be interviewed.
I never worked in my city, however, so it was a pain in my ass to drive for 2 h just to say hello.
As I became more familiar with the business, I refused to do interviews.
I told them I couldn't afford to drive for an interview & they usually let me just show up to work.
Because girls come/go (in my area, anyways), I could get away with it... The owners needed staff.
Also, I've worked out of old houses that have been converted (1 was above a restaurant, lol), plazas, & other establishments, but NEVER an apartment building.
I've actually never even heard of that.
Even escorts use motels so I think I would check around what other parlours are like in your area.
If that's the only 1 run out of an apartment building, don't go.
GL... Update us, :).
