Do you earn more money when you wear bright colored clothes?
I usually wear muted colours like black or blue. I'm thinking of buying a bright pink dress thinking that it might be more eye catching, more feminine, make me stand out and get me more dances. What do you girls think, do brighter clothes = more dances?

Depending on your club, but yeah brights are more eye catching.

Personally, I've found that bright colours/whites really make me stand out. I haven't compared earnings in darks vs. brights since I'll change throughout the shift, but bright colours definitely help me get out of a slump if a shift isn't going well. It's definitely worth a shot, especially if most of the other girls were darks, you find very flattering shades, and feel more confident in them!

I am known for my wearing of bright outfits at work! I have always done better in brights than the more muted colors. As shanna said, it really does help you stand out. Also, if there are a lot of black lights where you work, you will glow very bright which gives you a cool effect!

Re: Do you earn more money when you wear bright colored clothes?
i dont feel too confident in overly bright clothes at the club coz i feel it makes me look too strippery and throws me off my game a bit.
if youre like me however, costumes are the next best thing. girls in cop/school girl outfits still tend to stand out more than ones in muted tones, especially during busy weekend shifts.

I kinda want to look super strippery. I'm also getting some 7 inch platforms (I usually wear 6 inchers). I thought a more extreme, porny barbie look would make me more money.

Its weird but bright colors get me more $$ in mostly white clubs but in urban clubs with mostly african americans it actually gets me less $$! Idk why this is. I am white and a blonde so I guess I already stand out and bright colors just add to it.

I have a couple bright outfits that I bank in. Not only do they make me stand out but they also send out a kind of fun/flirty vibe. However, one of my all-time best earning outfits is a bra, garter belt, lace thong, and lace stockings combination and it's all black. I dance in black just as much as I dance in bright colors. Black provides a kind of sultry look that can be equally intriguing when done right.

i bank in costumes ( school girl especially, but understated sexy "costumes" like that) and white/bright pink. bright pink is pretty much my signature color, almost all my outfits are pink. i think it generally makes you stand out, i get a lot more stares when i go out in a color that screams in the black light. its eye catching. same reason i changed my hair to light blond. some shades are more flattering on other people though, so i'd say wear bright but also a color that you feel good in and look good in. if you have pale skin black stands out very nicely against the skin

Yes! I had an outfit like you describe in black, it went over well..however this was in a divey club where more lingerie stuff was worn. No black lights either. I am on the pale side too. I think black having 'texture' such as raised designs, fishnets etc grab more attention too.

Re: Do you earn more money when you wear bright colored clothes?
I used to wear only red or black for the longest time but I compromise now. I wear anything in conjunction with black and as long as it has skulls on it!
Most customers are usually interested in the contents of the outfit anyways. ::)

Re: Do you earn more money when you wear bright colored clothes?
I earned the most money when I looked different than all the girls! If no one else has your look, your competition is lower. Obviously you want to look like all the girls and flashy in order to get hired, but afterward, do you hair different and wear a different outfit style. Does everyone have straight hair? Great, go for curly! Does everyone wear bikini tops? Great, wear lingerie! Do most girls wear red? Great, wear yellow, purple, or white! Things like that.
So I think it has more to do with standing out and looking different than it does with what color you're wearing. But bright colors might help you achieve that if no one else in your club wears them.

I love the color chartreuse, a neon yellow with a touch of green. Makes you look tan, even if you're pasty white like me

Re: Do you earn more money when you wear bright colored clothes?
I know this is for dancers but I believe bright colors help a great deal depending on some factors. I wore a bright neon pink shirt on cam today and the tips and private shows start rolling in. I alternated with a checkered shirt and barely made anything. That bright shirt pretty much made me cut my shift from 6 hours to just 2 as I made my daily goal. Bright things automatically catch our eye so it's only natural that it will draw attention. I think it helps grab it and it's your job to make sure the focus stays on you. I will say that my skin tone looks really good in certain brights, hence my avatar photo, so I make it work for to my advantage.

^I'm a browser too. I get stuck in ruts with colors and the like, so I love looking at stuff like this, even if I can't buy it directly. Thanks!

Re: Do you earn more money when you wear bright colored clothes?
I've been playing around recently with the colors I wear because I'm drawn to black on black on black everything.
I've found that bright colors work well when there are a lot of girls on a shift (for example, when I work in Vegas, or weekend nights at my home club) and the hustle is really quick.
The bright colors don't work so well when I'm working my normal day/mid shifts where the hustle is a bit slower. I look quite young, and have super long blonde hair, so when there are very few customers and very few girls, I have to play the ultra-seductive role rather than the cutesy-"look-at-me-I'm-hot" look.

Yesss, I am pale. I don't really wanna tan, or at least when I do it'll only be in the summer. I live up North so I can't tan in the winter unless I go to a bed, but I'm really cautious about tanning. Not to highjack this thread, but couple quick questions: Do strippers usually have to be tan to make bank? And, what are some other great colors for a pale girl to wear(obviously every pale girl is different with eyes and hair color, but I just mean what colors go well with the pale skin?)?

Re: Do you earn more money when you wear bright colored clothes?
Well, everyone's different, I had my color's 'done' they told me my best colors..I do like brights for stripping. Hot neon pink is good, bright coral. Try different colors in different lighting, see how they look on you.
