OMFG... Payoneer Global Bank Transfer Is Here!
I jizzed when I saw that Payoneer are doing this Global Bank Transfer thing...
MFC's bit on it:
Quote:
Payoneer Global Bank Transfer
If you are currently receiving international wire transfers from us, you should check out a service from Payoneer called Global Bank Transfer.
It is much cheaper than a wire transfer, the minimum to be paid is the usual Payoneer minimum of $20, and allows you to receive your funds in your local currency.
Payoneer is doing a promotion with us that for the months of May and June 2013, all Global Bank Transfers are FREE, and they are only $3 or so after the promotion expires.
More info here: http://www.payoneer.com/LocalBankTransfer.aspx
Pretty. Fucking. Awesome, eh?
Being a UK girl, if I want my MFC funds wired to me, I have to rack up $1000 plus like $15 or so to get it wired to me. Because MFC isn't my main site, this takes me a fucking Age. But I am (hopefully! If this works out!) getting like $350 from MFC wired to me the next pay-out! Yay no more waiting!
I also just got my MGF moula sent to me (I was reluctant to get a Payoneer card because of all the charges).
The most orgasmic thing about this is that FEE... "$3 or so"... Holy Shit. That versus Streamates $40 bank wire fee? Yeah I'm curious as to if Streamate will get on board with this. We possibly already can switch over to this, because SM accept Payoneer, and now when you go to sign up for a card, it gives you this new option...
I have likely lost thousands of ££££ due to the $40 bank wire fee each week, changing over to Payoneer Global Bank Transfer would save me *so* much money.
I am, as ever, skeptical though... How safe is this? Has anyone had any experience with this yet? Report back!

Re: OMFG... Payoneer Global Bank Transfer Is Here!
OMG. That would be amazing.
I have a Payonner card that I used when I was doing MFC and am going to use for SM right now, but it will be incredibly comfortable to have it transfered directly to my bank account. REALLY hope it's going to be avilable for SM, too.

Damn I know right? :O
Aghhh!!! I want it!
This changes a lot about how I will treat my back-up sites (MGF and MFC). I can easily see myself working them a lot more now this has come out because I won't be put off by either having to get the Payoneer card or having to wait until I reach $1000 on MFC to get my money through!

Re: OMFG... Payoneer Global Bank Transfer Is Here!
I don't know if this affects anyones excitement , but worth keeping in mind ...... When I was offered this service a few months ago , I was also informed that I could no longer use my payoneer card ... It had to be a choice between one or the other...... I guess a lot of people won't care if they're wanting to replace payoneer card with bank they can just use bank card , but for people planning to utilise both , could be a problem ...... ( At least if things didn't change on that front yet )
But yeah , pretty effin fantastic :D

I used global transfer here in Canada for Streamate. I've never had a problem with it.
I still have MFC and AW on my Payoneer card itself since they make so little money and I figured I might need it someday.

Re: OMFG... Payoneer Global Bank Transfer Is Here!
Cool! I know a UK MFC model who would be thrilled about this, because I remember her talking about how ridiculous it is that the minimum on MFC is $1,000 for international wire transfer. And I agree with her that it's ridiculously high.
-
Re: OMFG... Payoneer Global Bank Transfer Is Here!
I've used payoneer bank transfer for a while now, on a few sites that don't send checks to Canada. I love the service, I've never had an issue with it. I refuse to use a payoneer card because of the fees involved and hassle of transferring money from a card to my bank accounts, but the bank transfer option rocks
I'm gonna move this thread to Industry Insight so Nissim can weigh in on it if he likes, so if y'all have any questions continue to post em

Re: OMFG... Payoneer Global Bank Transfer Is Here!
The only potential wrinkle might be the fact that HM Revenue & Customs is able to keep track of all the international funds being transferred into your UK bank account. Unlike a wire transfer which is bank to bank thus 'anonymous', a direct transfer to your account will leave a 'paper trail'. Same holds true re the IRS and direct transfers into the bank accounts of US residents.

Re: OMFG... Payoneer Global Bank Transfer Is Here!
I'm in the UK so this may be great for me. At the moment I use my Payoneer card to make payments mostly on line. When I use it in stores they look at me like I'm so out of touch not having chip and pin on it! And they usually can't find a pen for me to sign.
My bank usually charges a stupid amount to convert to GBP but if Payoneer are doing that before the transfer then I won't get that fee. Am I right? Payoneer will transfer GBP? Although, I gather they will take a fee of 2 - 2.75% above the exchange rate on top of the $2.99 (or more according to you country and currency) transfer fee.

I don't see this as a problem. My accounts already provide a full "paper trail" for HMRC. All payments to my Payoneer card are included in my tax return.

^ Truth..
Surely only reason a "paper trail" would be an issue for us, would be if we weren't reporting our earnings to the HMRC / not paying our taxes anyway, and ignored Camgirl Rule #1 of "what happens on the internet stays on the internet!" and hoped nothing would ever show up in the future.

True enough. However, for better or worse, I doubt that every single camgirl is as 'diligent' about reporting and paying taxes on camming earnings as we are ! Otherwise there wouldn't be so many questions posted in regard to which webcam hosts automatically report camming earnings payouts to gov't tax agencies, and which webcam hosts don't. Also, tax compliance aside, there have been a number of threads raising the issue of the potential negative consequences of a 'paper trail' of adult industry work history on future straight jobs / careers.
Therefore I thought that I should point out this distinction between international bank to bank 'wire' transfers and direct international funds transfers into a camgirl's 'personal' account. When gov't agencies monitor cross-border funds transfers ( which is a requirement of terrorist anti-money laundering treaties ), with 'wire' transfers there is no name attached - but with 'direct deposit' there is.

I have the card still for Adultwork but the global transfer for ELM...so we can have both, it's just a case of which partner we use each for.

Great option! Ever the optimist, I wonder if they gain money by offering a lower exchange rate? And therefore, us paying more for the transfer?

Re: OMFG... Payoneer Global Bank Transfer Is Here!
Hi Everyone,
Thanks to @Incantatious for posting this thread, and to everyone for sharing your amazing feedback. I'm glad to hear that you are all excited about the service; we are too!
Our Global Bank Transfer Service offers many advantages to traditional wire transfer services of the past. Some main benefits:
- Supported to over 200 countries, in more than 50 currencies
- Payoneer provides you with local bank transfers to over 60 countries. This means that we'll actually send your payments from a local bank in your country, in your local currency. The cost for this service is only $2.99 per payment, and there are no other setup or maintenance fees involved. (This is with the exception of India, Russia and Brazil, for which the cost if $5.95 per payment).

Another benefit of the service is that Payoneer provides you with extremely cost efficient exchange rates. If you compare them to alternatives or even your local bank you will see that they are among the best available.
You can read more about the exact rates used here: http://blog.payoneer.com/lower-fees-...r-gbt-service/

I also wanted to confirm that this is correct. For each account that you have with one of our partners (Such as MFC) you need to choose a payment method - either the Payoneer card or direct bank transfers. You will not be able to have both active at the same time, though you can choose a different payment method for each account that you have with one of our partners (so if you have two MFC accounts, or an account with another partner of ours as well). You can always contact Payoneer's customer support department and request to switch your payment method (from card to bank transfer and vice versa). In the next several months we do plan to introduce a service that will allow you to withdraw your Payoneer card balance directly to your bank account, though currently the option is not available.
Note: this means that if you already have your MFC account connected to your Payoneer card, and want to receive payments via our Global Bank Transfer Service, you will need to contact our customer support department and request to switch. You can reach them here (I suggest live chat or telephone for immediate support).
Thanks again for all the great feedback, and please feel free to ask any questions.

Re: OMFG... Payoneer Global Bank Transfer Is Here!
I have a question for you Canadians who are using this... this will be my first paycheque using Payoneere and im wondering how many days it took for you to receive your funds?
-
Re: OMFG... Payoneer Global Bank Transfer Is Here!
Unless there's a US holiday, you'll get your funds 2-3 after you are notified of the transfer. I'm using SM Global Transfer for Streamate. Each Friday I get the notification of money being transfered and to allow 2-3 working days, and I receive it on Tuesdays.

Re: OMFG... Payoneer Global Bank Transfer Is Here!
Awesome thanks, hopefully it will be here tomorrow then :)

Re: OMFG... Payoneer Global Bank Transfer Is Here!
So, I have a couple of q's
Does my entire Payoneer account get "hooked up" with this service or do I have to go site-by-site. Nissim saying to contact PY support I assume it's the former - it gets done from Payoneer's side of things...? And all the money that flows into my PY account from different sources then gets transferred to my bank, kind of like that?
Also is it like a separate transfer for every load or can I set some minimum and let a bigger chunk accumulate before it's being transferred to the bank?
If I opt for this does my card get canceled for good or could it be "reinstated" once the option of having both rolls out. (I guess this is not that important, I could always pay the new card fee if I want the card back some time down the road when having both becomes an option...)
And my biggest concern: how do the payments show up in your internet bank (or your bank statements, etc.) of your local physical bank? For example right now SM and C4S show up as "The Daily Pay Service" for me back when I used to do LJ it showed up as "AWEmpire" (if I remember correctly) which is also a nice discrete name but then there's stupid IL which shows up as exactly that - "ImLive".
I'm kind of looking into applying for a temp/perm resident visa for a country that asks for specific income levels to be eligible which is my motivation to get money directly into a bank. I guess I could cross out incriminating loader names as "protecting the privacy of my costumers" before I give them the printed out statements as well...

Re: OMFG... Payoneer Global Bank Transfer Is Here!
@Kayden
You have to do it site by site. With the second site I wanted to change to Global I had some trouble with customer service doing it, but then Nissim on here quickly sorted it out. But give customer service a try. You can keep the card, you could infact have some sites on Global transfer, and other sites just using the card.
It's $2.99 per transfer (at least for me, I think it differs in some countries). I don't know if you could maybe arrange with payoneer to hold back funds until you reach a minimum of your choosing, but I think you need at least $49.99 for them to send the money to your bank. So if you had several small payments (eg. $10 from Extralunchmoney and $40 from MyGirlFund) you would only pay the $2.99 when you have $49.99 and thus enough to send to your bank.
The money shows up in my bank simply called "BANK GIRO CREDIT PAYMENTS SERVICES". That is copy pasted off my online bank statement.

Thanks so much, Vlodina!
"BANK GIRO CREDIT PAYMENTS SERVICES" sounds perfect!
