Re: Advertising on Reddit?
its hard to compete on Reddit with so many free porn links, gonwild, ect. Im not really sold.
Re: Advertising on Reddit?
True, but if they like you for you, they may want to see more and have a one-on-one experience with a woman they admire.
Re: Advertising on Reddit?
I get hundreds of hits a day from Reddit and haven't made a single sale.
Re: Advertising on Reddit?
I know there was a subreddit for buying panties at some point, and one girl apparently did quite well selling the panties she wore in her skype shows (like a combo deal, lol)
I would think you would probably do alright on reddit if you posted pics AND were active in the community (is that what you would call it there? :P) and guys got to know you. That's how I do it on Fetlife, and god knows that's one of the last places to post ads for camming, lol.
Re: Advertising on Reddit?
I dunno about that... Reddit is where 4chan people go after they hit puberty. I would expect a lot of trolls to come from Reddit.
...And now I'm saying a silent prayer to the internet gods that 4chan doesn't come after me...
Re: Advertising on Reddit?
I'd be careful about advertising on reddit if you value your privacy. If you're an active and contributing member in other avenues, it's possible that it could lead to something - though I'm not in the least bit surprise to read that Jaana has received tons of traffic from there and no sales. But if you're basically just using it to promote yourself, careful. They're a fickle group and superb Internet researchers. If they want to, they can probably find your entire online presence and connect your camming persona to your real identity. So, just be wary of trying to use them for free advertising.
Re: Advertising on Reddit?
The thing with a forum like Reddit is to..not be a dick. Follow Reddiquette, don't troll, don't feed the trolls, and you should be completely fine. Don't spam, etc.
Re: Advertising on Reddit?
I just did my first few ads on there yesterday but they were in subreddits dedicated to selling adult items and shows as I think posting anywhere else would get you eaten alive lol.
Anyway if anyone could recommend further successful advertising sub Reddit that would be helpful. So far I've put in two ads for panties and one for shows and got 1 timewaster who then downvoted I think because after I told him no my Karma dropped :/.
Re: Advertising on Reddit?
Reddit is great free advertising but after the fosta laws mine got deleted, I had a subreddit page for camming and being a sugar baby. Now i just have a regular reddit still good exposure.
Re: Advertising on Reddit?
Update- I've been posting ads as well as just random comments and so far absolutely nothing but 1 guy trying for free stuff.
Re: Advertising on Reddit?
Avoid reddit. Guys will try to doxx you.
Re: Advertising on Reddit?
I've been trying this again as I don't think I gave it enough time and effort before but I'll be honest: Reddit is a pain in the ass lol. It's confusing as many subreddits won't let me post but there is nothing in the description that says I have to have say xyz posts nor how to get approved and the search option sucks because I know there are subjects that just don't pop up at all even if I enable the NSFW option.
Re: Advertising on Reddit?
I'm pretty sure that would be considered spam in most subreddits.
Re: Advertising on Reddit?
I actually made a pretty decent sale from Reddit yesterday

This!
I did some Reddit advertising for a while last year. It was great for a while, but then I figured out that it wasn't worth it.
Re: Advertising on Reddit?
Huh... I actually thought reddit would be a good place to get some exposure. Considering all the gone wilds and such.
Re: Advertising on Reddit?
Update-
I am getting shows from here though not a lot. Still the best advertising I've done and definitely more effective than Twitter.
You must post regularly in a crapload of selling oriented subreddits( not gone wild etc) and the best way to have guys contact you is by Kik so you'll want to put that in you ad title. It is also good for advertising things you might not want to elsewhere such as scat & period fetish.
Re: Advertising on Reddit?
Don't waste your time with GoneWild. I have a few photos with 10k+ votes. I was getting like 300 private messages for each of them. Some of them requested shows other panties, all of them turned out to be scammers. One of them was willing to buy my panties for like $50, and for that I would have to send him 4 videos masturbating with those panties and a lot of pictures from my day to day life, everything before he paid a dime. The guy didn't seem to find anything unreasonable about that. And this was the average guy there.
Reddit is an amazing site, lots of great people, but non of the good paying members I met while camming would use reddit for finding girls.

Can you recommend any subreddits for selling? Not sure where to start.

Re: Advertising on Reddit?
I just started on reddit and am making some headway. There are sooo many hoops to jump through, most normal 'sexy' subs you either are banned from if you're a seller or you have to be verified which requires time building up karma. Sexsells is currently closed for verification and gone wild is one that bans you. I've made some sales there now though. Try finding niche subs specific to what you're into and participate on them. For eg i post in the asmr and hypno type subs as well as nsfw subs
Re: Advertising on Reddit?
If Reddit sucks for traffic/advertising, then what sites are good/great for this?

I'm not sure how you got the impression it sucks but that's not the case. What it is, is a huge pain in the ass lol but I do get some results from it unlike Twitter & Tumbler.
