$3000 a week doing private parties?
So an acquaintance of mine that me and my husband both have known for at least 4 years claims that he is looking for models, exotic dancers, adult entertainers and escorts for some agencies he's promoting? This makes the third time I've seen him trying to recruit women. I'm guessing it's legit because he has way over 1k "friends" on his fb page and over half of them look like models/dancers. His uncle also is part owner of a club I used to dance at years ago. (Small world!)
Anyway, he messaged me since he knows I used to be a dancer. I told him I am trying to make some extra money. He said if I'm dancing again I should come work for him. We had a very long conversation about what goes on. Basically he claims they are private parties, mostly bachelor parties and party buses. They are 90 minutes each and each dancer gets paid $200-300 upfront. Then they pool tips. At the end of the night they have a system where they keep track of which dancer does what (lap dances, back room dances, stunts, etc.) and they then pay out the tips. So some dancers get more who do more. They have one armed security guy for every four dancers and a minimum of two security guys per party. They get a cc number to run and a background check on the client requesting the party so they know it's not some idiot. He didn't tell me how much cut the company gets though. He says there are 18+ referrals and party requests a week and I could do more than one event per night. The client checks off a list of things they would like to happen or be available at the party. So if they want just lap dances they check that, but it goes as far as toy shows and girl-girl shows, and some pretty raunchy games. The clients pay more for that extra stuff he says.
He swears there is no sex, no hand jobs, no blowjobs. It sounds like they can get pretty wild though. I let him know I don't do anything but lap dances and cute but not raunchy party games with NO touching or licking. He says I can still make $500 per event. I'm a bit skeptical. I've always been leery of private parties. He said if I did enough events I could make $3k a week. It sounds too good to be true. I don't want any guy licking me or sticking something in me and from what I've heard that always happens at these types of parties.
There is an application process including a meeting where I have to get naked so they can see if I look good and head shots to be made before I can start so I don't want to even go through that if it's bs. I have no experience with an agency so I don't know what's normal. What do you all think?

Well, honestly I just skimmed your posting, however that huge amount sounds too good to be true. I will come back & read later when I have more time. Thanks

Re: $3000 a week doing private parties?
you can make EXCELLENT money doing private parties. its true. but, like working in the club, its not guaranteed. that's actually a VERY good deal they are offering because the place i worked at pocketed all the money and we only got tips the guys gave us. private parties can be exhausting but you can make that much

No worries, lol! Sorry I know it's long but I wanted everyone to have all the details.

Thanks Simone, I know you have some decent experience so I trust your advice.
He bugged me again today to see if I had decided or if any of my girlfriends were in. I asked him if he got a "finder's fee" because now he's just seeming pushy. He said not if I work for his agency, but if my app gets passed to a different agency then yes. Ugh, now I'm worried I will go through the hiring process just to be passed on to a different company and he will just make some excuse or whatever. And the hiring process involves getting naked and dancing some. He also said that the pay for showing up is right after the event, I'm guessing to make sure the girls actually work. I'm not sure why it just seems creepy to me. I might pass. I have until Wednesday to decide.
I DID make it clear once again that I will not do anything extra so I didn't think I'd make much. He said not all parties are that extreme like the dildo story he told me, he just wanted to "be real" and straight up with me he said. I would hate getting naked for a guy who knows some stuff about my personal life and have it be a waste of time. Guys at the club don't know me outside so it's different. I guess that's my issue. (Plus my husband told me today he got the job he wanted, so I might say screw it and not do stripping again and be semi-broke haha!)
Maybe I can talk the guy into letting me tag along to a party, hmmm. Should I be worried that they pay after the show and not upfront? I mean, I know the client has already paid, he said they charge an all inclusive fee, not like a 60/40 cut, includes security, equip and a bus rental if needed, and dancers. The dancer fee we get goes to us only. But is AFTER the show shady? Am I just being totally paranoid? I hate getting tricked so this type of thing sets off all types of red flags for me.

Re: $3000 a week doing private parties?
some of those agencies use private parties as a cover up for escorting, not saying he does that but i'd definitely tag along and watch a few first..i did that, just to get a feel. a lot of the girls did some pretty extreme stuff at the parties but everyone's different..hmm i can't really say about the paying part since i never got paid by my agency but i'd go with my gut, talk to some of the other girls, and watch a show or two!

You're right, my gut is telling me it's not for me. I will tell him that if he wants to hire me I will have to tag along and I'm sure he will say no. He made some comment during our conversation that "every woman has her price to do anything"...I was like, umm, not me sorry. I wouldn't take a billion $ to sacrifice my vows to my husband. My word is worth more than that. I don't like people that think anyone can be bought. Plus I think I want to concentrate on my business 100% and I can now that my hubby has a job. It might not bring in that much money right now but it could if I put effort into it and I am happiest doing it. I'm not happy letting guys do body shots off my ass LOL! Maybe when I was 21 and single I'd be alright with that. More power to those girls that do it though, haha, that's gotta take some guts!

You can make a hell of a lot from private parties
For me Marrakech and Monaco is where I made a hell of a lot of money from private parties

Re: $3000 a week doing private parties?
Private parties can be great money, but I'd be skeptical of anyone saying you get paid that $200-300 upfront. I wish that were true in my case, because then I'd have guaranteed money.
The agency that I worked with only paid the girls $60 upfront for each party, but in the summer there's usually 2-3 parties a night. But that $60 per hour/party is nothing compared to what we'd make. I didn't do a lot of parties, but I never left with less than $400 at one party. If you're doing 2-3 parties a night making that much, that's $800-1200 a night.
I made the majority of my money from toy shows and lapdances. Sounds like you are not going to want to do a toy show although they're pretty lucrative. I charge $250-300+ for toy shows but a lot of girls here do toy shows for less. Still good money though. At the parties I went to, me and the girl(s) I'm working with split all of our money except toy show money, meaning if one of us does a toy show and the other doesn't, only the girl who did the toy show gets the money. But we usually do toy shows together (separately, but at the same time) so the guys will pay a combined $500 or $600 and we'll split that equally. It's a team effort and there's hella money to be made.

Okay, that makes sense how he could say they get up to $3k a week regularly. Especially considering that in my area there are NO real stripclubs, it's all go-go. But yeah, you are right that I'm not willing to do a toy show. I think I would've a couple years or more ago, but for whatever reason it just doesn't appeal to me anymore. My sister also pointed out that the parties would be in the area I live and it could potentially affect my business. If anyone recognized me it would be a disaster. I have to appear wholesome and responsible. I and my friends know of course that stripping isn't that big of a deal, but I don't think my client's would see it that way should they recognize me. Plus I could go to the store and some guy say "hey! I saw you at my bachelor party!" *cringe* When I dance at a club it's an hour or more away.
It also turns out the girls get the 200-300 that night AFTER the party. Not sure how that works. But he said they charge the client a booking fee, company fee, security fee, limo/bus fee (optional), equipment fee (optional), and each dancer fee (the dancers get 100% of the fee). They show them pics and tell them about the dancers ahead of time so they pick from a list of dancers. Each dancer has a list of stunts she does in her profile. The clients then sign up and pay a little extra dancer fee for certain stunts like the toy shows. He said the extra dancer fee just makes certain stunts available but the client has to tip for it at the party. (Basically dancers that do more raunchy stunts get paid a higher fee.) Lapdances and back room dances are paid at the party. They have to state in the contract what they are willing to tip too he said. He is a promoter so he said he pushes certain girls if they are good. He goes out of his way to be super nice and respectful and definitely picks favorites so I could see him doing that. But I am pretty distrusting by nature, and I'm certain that 80% of these events would include toy or girl-girl shows. I'm not sure why he thinks I would even be good for these parties, so that makes me suspicious.
I told him if I'm ever hard up for money then I'll look into it. (As in tag along to a party and talk to a couple dancers.) He said the offer is open whenever. So that's cool if I change my mind...which is often tehe! Thanks for all your input, it's good to know that private parties aren't always as shady as I had originally thought.

Re: $3000 a week doing private parties?
"every woman has her price to do anything"
RUN .....
-
Re: $3000 a week doing private parties?
I wouldn't do it for the simple reason that tips are pooled and split. If there is four dancers one of them is bound to go above and beyond and do some nasty shit so that she gets most of the tips. Sometimes people dismiss tips as chump change but I've had nights where if it wasn't for my tips I'd have gone home basically broke.

Re: $3000 a week doing private parties?
Pm me the name of the company - i have done some bookings with a national company and the money was good upfront BUT the rest of the money was a different story - the guys were promised so much upfront that is was tougher to make much over the initial fee - some guys were pissed thinking more was included - and he always called with bookings in BFE that I would turn down - 2 hours away in the middle of nowhere and on more than one occasion he was using other ladies pictures - they got their cut on a credit card and we collected ours at the door - there is good money to be made if you get with the right people though - back in the day during party season i would make 2 grand on a saturday night just doing parties and 1k on friday night

Re: $3000 a week doing private parties?
Even though you doing extras may not be required, understand there will likely be girls that will be doing them. Me personally, I don't care what other girls are doing. My first night doing private parties I did two, 3 1/2 hours total and made 800. But one thing I don't like that you mentioned is that they say they keep track of who does what dances and stuff and that's how they split the money. I feel this can cause a lot of conflict and it also promotes competition.
In private parties you have to work kinda close with girls so a lot of companies believe in splitting all of the tips. For me this helped because the girls helped me more and gave me more tips on how to do stuff. U can always try it out and if it doesn't work out just look into other agencies.

Re: $3000 a week doing private parties?
To respond to a couple people here: He told me that it is agreed upon ahead of time what will happen at a specific party. I told him I was worried that the guys wouldn't like me because I won't do the extra stuff. That was his response. He said the guys tell the company ahead of time and pay a higher dancer fee for the option to get certain things at the party. So if the guys requested a dildo show or w/e he wouldn't promote me to them. So IF I did join his agency I wouldn't worry about other girls doing extra stuff to earn more tips. Other tips for dildo shows or body shots or other games I wouldn't do, I don't care if I get less money if I went to a party and didn't do that. As long as I get my tips for dances. I do agree that just splitting the tips evenly especially if ALL the girls at the party are available for the same type of stunts is better. Part of working a party to me is reducing competition between girls and making it more fun, like a team effort. Just because one girl gets rejected all the time shouldn't mean she gets less tips or she worked less. But I can see both ways being fair/unfair in certain situations.
Regardless, I am not taking him up on his offer. 1) He seriously seems like he is just trying to get some kind of kick-back for recruiting girls. Right after I told him I wouldn't do it, I saw him on FB pushing hard again for girls. Maybe he's hard up for money. He did tell me that if a different company hires me that he gets a "finder's fee". Yeah...so when I told him I didn't think I was right for these types of parties, he was STILL pushing me to join. That just screams scam to me. If I ran an agency and a girl told me she wouldn't do dildo shows or party games with whipped cream then I wouldn't hire her.
2) Something he said really pissed off my husband and I agree with him. I think he was trying to be reassuring that he keeps things private. So he told me that "anything you do at a party I wouldn't tell anyone" then "one thing I've learned is that every woman has her price to do anything"...ummmm wtf ever! Not me pal sorry. My husband is thoroughly pissed off at his implication that I would do xyz behind his back. Pretty disrespectful, although I can see where a different girl would want to hear that....kinda. But what kind of person wants to be told basically "oh yeah, I know you can be sold for the right price"...yeah.
So anyway, seems shady, I'm not going. If I change my mind or need money again I might tag along to a party to see what it's really about and I'll tell you all how it goes. All the advice and tips you ladies are giving is cool too and interesting. I'm definitely learning something!

I so would but he was dodging the question. When I asked him what the name was he said it's multiple companies. Then later he said he had his own company too...but didn't tell me the name....no idea what his game is truthfully. Maybe he just comes across weird in messenger. The way he said I would have to get naked and do a "champagne room" type dance for him to see "how I move, what my body looks like, etc." just creeped me out too. Is that normal for an audition? He already knows I can dance and have experience. He reminded me of a used car salesman.

Re: $3000 a week doing private parties?
Oh, I also forgot, I talked to my sister and husband about it and they both pointed out that the parties are all in my local area. So it could seriously hurt my day-time business if I'm outed. I love my day job and my business and it's my passion that I've worked hard for, so that doesn't fly with me. If I ever figure out what actually goes on with this agency and anyone lives in the DC metropolitan area and you're interested then I'll pm the info. Just send me a pm if you want info. I'm sure I'll run into this guy in person and he'll want to talk to me about it and hopefully be more clear in person.

U can always check into other agencies...this seems pretty sketchy.

Awww, I appreciate the concern. I think I got some good advice here though and I'll handle it right. As my husband says "I'm not getting that warm, fuzzy feeling." LOL

Re: $3000 a week doing private parties?
I agree - if you are interested research on your own with out creepy dude- I would not audition for some recruiter personally - and if it is just weekends in that area you should be able to work in a town/city close by for the night if they can get you 2 bookings or more it is worth it
