:)Me personally, I never actually auditioned I just sent in pictures and talked to people and got hired. One company just held back my initial show fee until they knew I was going to have fun at the parties. I just kinda threw myself into it, and the girl I worked with was really experienced and said she did better with me then anyone else, so ya never know.
Just remember not everyone is going to be a total creep
with my "audition" he wanted me to send pics, but i didn't feel comfortable either and so he just asked me to come in ( but warned me if i was ugly he'd send me packing..very polite, huh)..so i went in, took a look around , met the security guards and manager signed some papers and then went along to see one of their shows! you should just be able to walk in, although some are strict we-need-to-see-a-pic-first kinda deals
Idk - they just contacted the agency from ads they had seen so no audition - I would think sending you out with another lady who has been with the company would be sufficient - that is what we do with new party girls - they have to go out with an established lady for a party or two before going out on their own - they/we meet or talk on the phone in advance and go over basic strategy before the party
That sounds more straight forward than this guy. Just yesterday he sent me another message saying that they are trying to get a bunch of girls together for a "competition" strip show event. He said 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place get a prize and each other girl gets $500. I'm like, "okay, that sounds fine, not my thing though so I'm gonna pass." Then I see him post something today in public thread the same basic thing only he lists 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place prizes, and they are even more $ than he told me the day before and other category prizes he says. Either he doesn't have his info together or he's lying and trying to scam some ladies. Either way I'm out with that guy!
I think I'm going to stick to clubs and causally check around for agencies that seem straight. One that the hiring process sounds like what you all have told me, not what that guy says. No "dancing like a champagne room dance". I don't even see how he could gain any information from that. I thought everyone who knows anything about stripping knows every customer is different so every dance is a bit different. He knows I look good, he knows I have experience. So yeah...not biting his bait. Gonna just blow him off when I see him around. Actually pretty irritated now with that guy now...
I'm sure the info's on here somewhere, but where do you think is best to look for agencies now. A Google search doesn't turn up much info on the employment side. Is word of mouth better?
^ i went with a friend. we heard about it from some male strippers who used to frequent out club as customers, it was also the biggest agency in our area..it was kind of shitty and i don't think i'd work there again though, the girls all looked cracked out! so we did shows together just us. i was a little scared because the main office was in a shady part of town an hour from where i lived at the time
You only make that kind of money doing lap dances and toy shows. I make 80-100 a show base plus tips and xtras. Maybe 1500 a week for 3 nights.
^ I agree. I made between 800-1500 a week. Sometimes that was 3-4 nights with most nights having one show, and sometimes I made that in one night with three or four shows.
Actually the huge red flag was him saying that they did background checks. Just a heads up, but it is RIDICULOUSLY hard to get anyone who wants to book a show (and I've worked with exotic dancers, escorts, belly dancers, and bartenders) to give any real-life information to double check ahead of time. It's hard enough getting a credit card, but that's at least doable when it's the norm for the city (though in some cities, cash up front is the norm and hardly anyone gives out their credit card numbers to book a show.)
So just on that part alone, I think he's full of shit.
I think I might have done maybe one week where I made three thousand-- but every week? No way! My base was 90-110 depending on which company booked the show (I worked for three) for one hour. I got that money up front plus the company's cut (typically $150-160/hr) and I would be responsible for dropping the agency's cut off at their office or the bank account. I've made anywhere between $20 (rare) to $800 in tips (thankfully, less rare but still rare) but sometimes those higher dollar tips took into account re-upping for a second hour, being paid for that again up front with or without the agency fee (if I always had to jump through a lot of hoops with the agency I wouldn't tell them I had a second hour-- but there was one agency that I really liked so I'd always tell them) and then going another hour.
But then again, I also paid $30-ish for my driver to drive me, come in and keep an eye on things, and hold onto my money and clothes.
i have been doing private parties for about five years. I have to say, that altough the money is really awesome, and 200 to 300 upfront is definatly not unheard of, it is mostly seasonal over here. I have never used the system where each dancer may make more than the other, I always spilit it down the middle and divvied it up evenly, basically because we are all in it together. I have never done any extras, and never been compelled to.
Summers are busiest, due to wedding season. I have had a couple of agencies try to tell me that they can get me work all year around , but they are full of shit and tried to get me to work exclusivly for them, which will NEVER happen.
Best to just go along and see what goes on for yourself, to see if you are comfortable with what goes on in there. Ive done naughty and nice shows and really had fun at most of them. Its a wonderful perk to the summer time, but it does take a while to get your show down to what works!
How would I go about doing private parties in either countries Monaco sounds like a gold mine?
If you worked before at a night club many years ago, why not proposing to your husband to do a duo with one other woman? Just to keep him excited. X
Or am I mistaken and I misunderstood? Don't take me wrong please x
You can make 500 a show if you do toys and all that. I wouldn't work for an agency where they pool tips either!
Yes you can make $3,000 a week but it's definitely not a guarantee that often. The fact that he won't tell you the name and all the warning signs makes me think he's a pimp.
$3k a week is manageable without doing extras in places like AC during the high point of bachelor party season. But ull be doing back to back parties all night until like 6 am.
Well Im a dancer in Canada and I do quite a few private parties, stags, poker parties etc and I would say the average for a 3-4hr event is $1000 more often then not more then not, but just trying to be realistic....I dont do any blowjobs or handjobs, lol, they ask, oh do they ask!! But I just brush it off, easy enough...I do hooter shooters and lapdances its fun and such easy money!!! So I definitely think 3000 is reasonable Ive done that in 2-3 days many times!! :)
Anyone know how to go about finding a legit new agency? A lot of them seem like covers or really sketchy. I just moved so I can no longer do parties with the one girl that I used to. Thanks!
