My all time fave shoes are a pair of 7 inchers from pleaser called sky 308 :

They are quite basic but really comfy, steady and the ankle strap holds me in for pole tricks
I jyst bought a pair of ellies shoes with floating goldfish! But i had to buy a size larger cos i have wide feet

The goldfish one is so cute! I also like ankle strap shoes, they feel safer.
My favorite ones I have are my Ellie 821 Brook "8 heels. They have ankle straps and are light pink
They're very girly looking and go perfect with a lot of my lighter colored outfits.
I also have 7" clear pleasers, "6 hot pink Ellie's, and "7 black slides by Pleaser.
I like my basic, 6" Pleasers with no straps. Right now, I'm rocking the chrome: http://mobmg.photobucket.com/albums/...t-601-csch.jpg
Pretty much any tall boot w/ a solid platform, preferably thicker heel as opposed to a stiletto, that gives me good ankle support. Much easier on my poor joints which don't flex very well anymore, w/ the added benefit of protecting my skin & I've nvr had to 'break in' boots, even leather ones. I can go a 10-hr shift in them w/ minimal stumblage, while normal dancer shoes will have me on my hands & knees by the end of the nite b/c it's safer than trying to walk in them :D
I swear by knee high stiletto zipper boots,My feet still look and feel like baby feet. We all know the shoes we have too wear can kill your feet, boots for some reason protect them and your legs.
Always, always, always Pleasers for me. I used to think 8" heels would look clunky, but they elongate my legs like no other. I currently own the following:
- My absolute favorites, they catch club lighting perfectly and customers love them http://snaz75.com/pl-bejeweled-801dm.html
- My basic black pair, with an ankle strap to keep me from slipping if I wear stockings http://snaz75.com/pl-xtreme-875.html
- For schoolgirl/librarian/etc outfits http://snaz75.com/pl-sky-387.html
- My favorite boots, they were hard to break in but they look awesome http://snaz75.com/pl-xtreme-2020.html
Pleasers is a good brand.
I like ankle boots the most. When I went from wearing shoes that just had an ankle strap to wearing ankle boots, I noticed a huge difference in my ability to balance myself.
These are what I wore for a long time. I went through a few pairs in black and in white, and I have no regrets lol. http://www.sassyassyjeans.com/produc...ge-Detail.html
Then other girls at work started wearing them so I bought these (my favorite) and they're what I'm using now. I'm going to continue replacing these as I wear them out.

I love Bordello platform shoes. I think they are by Pleaser? I currently am using ones with black rhinestones all over them. They're gorgeous!
I usually wear 6 inch pleasers with an ankle strap. Super comfy for long shifts.
I got some half price Fredrick's of Hollywood shoes, and they were my first shoes, and most comforitable shoes. I love them so mush <3 Everybody compliments me on them <3
I recently switched from 6-7" heels because I was getting a lot of foot and back pain after about 4-5 hours limiting how long I could work and I've found I can go about 6-7 hours in my 7" shoes EASY. I also find them easier to pole dance in, but ironically, more difficult to maneuver the club in (up and down stairs, around holes and uneven bits of floor and tables, chairs, etc) Definitely an adjustment at first. I figure the additional comfort must come from the extra cushioning from the higher platform. I've found Ellies to last longer than pleasers and be slightly more comfortable but alas...pleaser always has the coolest styles imo so I always end up buying them anyways!
Standard Pleaser 6 inch, with straps :) (I just find them the most comfy').

My current favorites: http://www.amazon.com/PLEASER-ADORE-.../dp/B00B22Q522
Pleasers, the clear ones-tip jars or ones with a little detail of some sort. I have a few other work shoes but I always wear pleasers. I think I want some pink ones next, though!
I love those fringe shoes and I love ankle boots but, I think they make my legs look shorter :/
Pleasers are my favorite by far. I find that there's no difference for me in terms of support whether they have a strap or not, but the ankle strap does tend to make me feel (falsely) secure. That being said, no shoes are really comfy until you break em in. Warm up that blow dryer!
My favorite shoes were discontinued in 2007... They were The Highest Heel "Fishbowl" platforms with Sparkles inside. The fishbowl shoes are still available, but it's not the same without the glitter. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...nL._SY395_.jpg
I love my clear, strapless 8-inch heels. Nothing fancy but I used to wear 5-inch ones. They weren't as comfortable (something to do with the arch I suppose) as the higher inch ones. One girl at my club had 9.5-inch heels!! She said they felt heavy and was about to die at the end of the shift. As mentioned from others, I like the Pleaser brand. I've found no other brand that fits my foot as well as Pleaser. And I have very small, narrow feet. Snaz.com is a great site to look however, I always go to this lingerie store which carries the Pleaser brand. I'm sure you can found a store that sells them around you. IMO it's better to see how they look and fit in person.
I really wish websites selling stripper shoes would do a better job of 'showing' us what the shoes will feel like. I want to know what the bottom of the shoe looks like - to see the surface area on which I'll be able to walk. I want to know what the incline is between the top of the platform and the top of the shoe. I want to know how thick the bottom of the heel is. I even want to know what material was used to make the padding on the shoe.
How cool would it be if you could select shoes on Snaz75 to compare these stats quickly? Cuz these heels ain't just for show. We be werkin' n' twerkin' in dem shooz.

Yep. I ordered a pair of Tony Shoes just to see what they were like and the bottoms had no grip, it was a smooth piece of rubber (or whatever it's made of). I read beforehand that Tony Shoes don't have grip, but I still wanted a pair just to see what the brand was like. I wore them in, but I can see how some girls could slip in them. They won't show you that on the website though.
^It might also encourage shoe companies to increase the quality of their products. If women could suddenly actually see what materials were used and whatnot, they'd have more control over what they're purchasing...
Considering how much money dancers have (that they're willing to spend on a new pair of shoes every three months), I honestly can't believe no site has already done this.
