I wish ImLive didn't have that question "What is your real job?" in the About Me section. It seems to imply that camming isn't a real job. And I forgot that when I start over (under daily pay), I'd have to start out at 0.98/min. YIKES!

ImLive rejected my 2 snapshots (one of me holding my ID up, and one of me holding a paper with the current date). :banghead: Having to do this shit all over again is such a hassle...
The specs for HOG are up, and I'm still confused on some things. They are giving us time to prepare for this apparently.
Our instructions for this:
Hold the ID card, pushing it barely onto your face so it just covers your left ear.
Take the snapshot as close as possible so your whole face and numbers/names show nicely.
Try to avoid direct lighting as this can create glare on the ID card and make things unreadable.
Do not cover anything significant on the ID with your fingers while you hold it.
I would assume the same basic method with the date, though that's a new one on me for IMLive.
I just resubmitted the pic of me holding the ID by my face, and the pic of me holding a piece of paper with the current date on it. HOPEFULLY they will accept those. I don't think they realize how difficult it is to get your entire face in the shot, plus have all 5 fingers visible, plus have the ID shown clearly. Same thing with the paper with the date on it. I'm just glad they accepted the snapshot of my photo ID alone, because I don't have a dime to my name right now, and can't be buying printer/scanner color ink for all that (I had to use my camera phone, or my Logitech webcam to take a pic of the ID by itself).
Its a pain in the ass but when i need to do stuff like that i go to FedEx/Kinkos and use their computers. A lot of them have work stations u can use by the minute . with printers scanners and fax machines but thats rare thats only when i need to do paper work i have a folder saved on my computer with sign up pix . i've been using the same scan of my photo ID and the ID/faceshoot for 2 years lol
Luckily, the only thing ImLive needed me to resubmit was the photo of me holding the ID next to my face, and the photo of me holding a piece of paper with the current date on it. Working printer/scanner isn't necessary for that since that just requires me snapping a pic from my webcam. So I'm just waiting on those things to be approved so I can get started on ImLive daily pay. If they get rejected again, I'm gonna be pissed though, because everything is visible in both photos.
Thank goodness I won't need FedEx Kinko's for this, because I am COMPLETELY BROKE right now and wouldn't be able to use their services anyway.
Okay, I've been approved for ImLive. Hallelujah! I hope that 'pause free video chat' thing works for me - the way it does for you ladies - so that it's not mandatory for me. I'll find out tomorrow morning. :)
IML rocked tonight. I was on for a little over an hour and was at $40 in that hour. Maybe the slowness has come to and end. Either that or I need to work nights. Not trying to brag but I sat online for 6 hours twice this week (12 hour total) and made $7 so I'm a bit ecstatic right now, lol.
tell me about it! they want u 2 use the software on their site that streams via your webcam, but not every1 has a webcam that is good enough quality to visible read a small print on an ID from a few inches away from the camera.
what i did was i took the photo with my amazing quality digital camera, then i uploaded the photo to the pc and then i used ManyCam to set that image as my stream-image. then i streamed the image on ImLive and pressed take photo.
also not to mention that after u have pressed take photo, and it saves at their end, sometimes it comes out worse quality than it looked 2 seconds ago, its like their servers downgrade your picture.
This is what I love about this work. Since March, I've always worked weekdays and did good, but when I tried weekENDS I tanked every time! Well this past weekend, I gave it another try, had a wonderful customer show up out of nowhere, had three privates with just him and totaled $112 JUST from him. lol!! I remind myself constantly, that if I just get my ass on cam ANYTHING can happen!
Hey, are yall gonna try that games thing they are introducing? Thoughts? I'm undecided so far. Thinking. Seems like it could be way fun, but I really don't like the 50% off of privates for the tippers. I think they took that out, due to all the complaints from models, but I'm unclear on that.
Okay, so I'm broadcasting now on ImLive daily pay, and even though it did let me "temporarily pause" free live chat, this is the message that came up when I chose that option:

Wow, I'm actually making a little bit of money on ImLive AT NIGHT! :) Imagine that! Wanted to try splitcamming with AdultWork (because AW was always better for me at night), but ManyCam wants to act like it doesn't recognize my webcam...so whatever. Looks like I'm just camming on ImLive tonight.
Yeah, the time you spend in break mode doesn't count toward your 120 free chat hours that you need to complete to access private-only mode, which as far as I can tell is the same thing as break mode. It's convoluted lol.
For anyone who uses private-only or break mode on IML: Do you get a warning before someone pops into your room? I've gotten it a few times but it's been a long time since I've worked regularly and I seem to remember sometimes it gives me like a 10 second warning and then sometimes they pop right in? I've been neglecting IML lately even though I could just go into break mode because I like a little bit of warning before shows.
That's so dumb. I'm NEVER gonna switch back to free chat mode (if I have the option to not do it), so I guess I'm NEVER gonna complete my 120 hours...and I'm just gonna forever be pressing that "temporarily pause free chat" button. Lol. That's sooo dumb. SMH.
YIKES. I guess when you have no choice but to be at a low rate like 0.98 credits/minute, you're gonna get lots of guys coming into private expecting you to fuck yourself. Before when I was able to charge what I wanted to charge, I hardly ever got guys asking for toy play. I got the foot fetish guys and guys who were perfectly satisfied with me just getting naked. But at this insanely low rate of 0.98, I'm getting tons of guys in private wanting toy play. *sigh* And they're not getting it either because I'm on my period and cramping.
I am awaiting to see if mine will be approved, just my bio and the step requiring the photo ID next to your face. Even though they had already approved my ID, I am worried because it just expired at midnight. I am broke ass hell and do not have $40 to renew my license tomorrow. I went to stream on Chaturbate because I had just signed up and got verified and boom, I can't because it expired!!!
LMAO! The funny part was with Chaturbate is that they had just verified me less than 48 hours ago...which I am sure they are just trying to cover themselves legally but I thought it odd to verify me for less than 72 hours. I have horrible allergies and a clerk once told me that I had exceeded my limitation for medications, in one shopping trip. I was like here, want my DL? Idc, I am dying here lol.
90 minutes of private chat COMPLETE! I can now start charging what I want! :)
Soooo I noticed the new IML "goldshow" copycat they are offering and I'm trying to figure out how it's going to work with guests. First of all, $7.50 for an hour, or $3.50 (something like that) for 30 min is insulting. I understand that happy hour is pretty much already like that so what's the point in them even adding it except this time we have a goal. Has anyone tried it yet? I don't see the point in trying to get guests who haven't even signed up to tip towards your show, it seems like only the occasional member will and I don't like the site giving me certain things themes to choose from and guests too. Also A WHOLE HOUR?! WTF IML? If girls on sm can make $300+ for a 10-20 min show, why do we need to fulfill a whole 30-60 min for 30-35%?
OMG, every time I turn around I hear about them adding something new. Dammit, they don't need to add any more site features. But hey, while they're on a 'lets-make-some-changes' roll, they can just go ahead and pay all the models 50%. :) HAHA. I can dream, can't I? :P
