Paypal allowing Adult Transactions for Europeans through Epoch?
I was checking my email today and got this from an old cam webmaster. Not sure if this was already posted.
GREAT NEWS for our EUROPEAN Customers only. It is now possible to add credits using PAYPAL.
This is right! Paypal has decided to allow European users only to use adult sites through Epoch. We all hope it will be possible to USA customers and rest of the world in the future. In order to add credits via paypal, please go to the ADD FUNDS page, and choose EPOCH, there just use the Paypal option. If you are not from Europe, you will not find this option under Epoch.
From Epoch:
We are pleased to inform you that we are launching a pilot program with PayPal for our European-based merchants and their European customers. This represents a major enhancement to our industry-leading processing platform, which already offers merchants the ability to accept more than 35 international payment types and process in 59 currencies.
We are honored to have been chosen by PayPal, and are proud to offer this payment type to our clients. We agree with PayPal's approach to begin by offering this pilot exclusively in Europe, and we are in the process of rolling PayPal out to our European clients. As this is a European pilot, PayPal is not currently available to our US-based merchants. This means that during the PayPal pilot program, you will not see PayPal offered as a payment option for your websites.
We look forward to continuing to work with PayPal, and leading the industry in delivering quality payment options to our clients. PayPal falls under the category of an Additional Alternative Payment in our agreements.
Re: Paypal allowing Adult Transactions for Europeans through Epoch?
just so indy chicas don't get the wrong idea, Paypal is authorizing Euro-based merchants to offer paypal through Epoch (so normal Epoch payment processing fees apply), not for person to person transfers (even people located in Europe). Despite the Paypal-Epoch partnership, accepting paypal directly from indy customers will still get one's account frozen no matter where one lives.
Great news for Euro chicas who process with Epoch though
