To Have Or Not To Have Reviews On TER, AdultFax, NaughtyReviews, Etc.
So I've been wanting to expand the places where I can post ads for bodyrubs.
I know that TER, AdultFax, and Naughty Reviews has a good base for clients but I prefer to operate without reviews. I kinda just want to post Ads and join in on discussion boards in these site. Would doing this be possible? Or will I inevitably have reviews regardless?

Re: To Have Or Not To Have Reviews On TER, AdultFax, NaughtyReviews, Etc.
Just a word to the wise , nothing more , nothing less : You may want to re-think having posted reviews. Reviews on TER are being used against Aphrodite.

Re: To Have Or Not To Have Reviews On TER, AdultFax, NaughtyReviews, Etc.
I personally think reviews are in bad taste, and the details of our sessions should not be discussed online. I think it is a violation of privacy and respect.

Re: To Have Or Not To Have Reviews On TER, AdultFax, NaughtyReviews, Etc.
I really agree with everyone, I don't allow reviews. Hence, why I am not a member of these review sites. But what i was asking though, if its possible to make an account on these sites so i can participate in discussion boards. i know that posting on discussion boards in these review sites bring traffic.
So could I make an account and not have reviews on the review sites?
-
Re: To Have Or Not To Have Reviews On TER, AdultFax, NaughtyReviews, Etc.
Yes, you can make an account and participate in discussions without reviews. Some sites, you can even post ads without reviews. However, on TER, you cannot post an actual ad without having a verified "provider's profile" and they told me that the only way I could be activated on there as a provider would be to have a member post a review on there.
-
Re: To Have Or Not To Have Reviews On TER, AdultFax, NaughtyReviews, Etc.
Ohh I see. So TER would pretty much kick me out the site unless I have reviews?
-
Re: To Have Or Not To Have Reviews On TER, AdultFax, NaughtyReviews, Etc.
They won't kick you off. You can have an account and participate in the forums. But you can only post a true ad in a certain section of the site and they won't post the ad if you are not verified as a provider via reviews. I've tried, and it never goes active. So... you could gain exposure by interacting with people on there through forum discussions and hope they contact you via PM or something? But that may not be worth your time if you don't want reviews on there to be able to post an ad.

Re: To Have Or Not To Have Reviews On TER, AdultFax, NaughtyReviews, Etc.
Well I was thinking that since I don't allow or have reviews, the least I could do was to join the discussion boards as a way to somehow prove that I am a legitimate provider. I don't know, do you think this would even be worth trying? I am not sure how else I can prove to these guys that I am not a fake besides just having my professional website.
-
Re: To Have Or Not To Have Reviews On TER, AdultFax, NaughtyReviews, Etc.
I would say joining discussion boards is still a good idea. It gives you exposure, and hobbyists talk amongst themselves. You may have less traffic still compared to girls who have reviews. But those who are really curious about you will ask around. Even without reviews, you will get talked about in the community.

Re: To Have Or Not To Have Reviews On TER, AdultFax, NaughtyReviews, Etc.
I think TER will take a paid ad from you regardless of whether or not you have any reviews. I think they let ladies with reviews post once per week about their doings and whereabouts for free. Not sure, never having been an escort lol.
Most other boards charge for any post that looks like and sounds like an " ad ". With or without reviews.
It's new world now : A while back UC's penetrated a M & G in Houston where there was hanky panky AT the party ; in the A.C. mess a UC joined TER so he could read the dirty details of reviews for the A.C. girls ; in Arizona and a few other places U.C.'s have actually had sex before making the bust. So anything you can do to make yourself safer and minimize risk is obviously a good thing. " Going naked " on reviews is a tough call. Presumably good reviews help business and bad reviews can hurt. All that being said , the focus on L.E. remains on agencies. That's where the money is. They rarely if ever bother with indies unless something else is involved like drugs or the woman makes it ridiculously easy for them or there was a specific complaint. L.E. likes low hanging fruit. I would certainly think twice about working for an agency.
As Phil Esterhaus used to say on the old T.V. show "Hill Street Blues" : " Let's be careful out there . "

Re: To Have Or Not To Have Reviews On TER, AdultFax, NaughtyReviews, Etc.
You can participate in discussion on TER with just a basic membership, but you can not use their PM, so communicating is difficult. (Even when guys, at least, list an email, saying they no longer have VIP, people rarely email them...) Maybe because there is no guarantee who you're talking to if someone is not a member... especially now that LE has admitted they have infiltrated it...

Okay I understand. So basically there is no point in going to TER unless I want to pay for VIP so clients can get in touch with me through PM. I was thinking that under my profile I could have the address to my website and if they are interested they can look at my link.
I guess what my goal really is, is that I want to still be taken noticed by the hobbyist without their explicit reviews. Lol I'm I being unrealistic?

Re: To Have Or Not To Have Reviews On TER, AdultFax, NaughtyReviews, Etc.
I would not shy away from an agency based on this alone - the focus on an agency bust is the owners - less focus on the ladies - i have been very vocal here on my distaste for review boards - now there is even more reason to avoid them

AGREE
I honestly have no interest in reviews, in the end the reviews end up saying more about the client than the provider

Unlike other internet message boards, posters don't have a "profile" unless they have reviews (providers) or have whitelistings/write reviews (clients). If you don't have any reviews, no profile exists to put your website address.
You cannot advertise on TER unless you have the TER-coded link on the first page of your website. Keep in mind that if you get the attention of TER hobbyists through posting on the TER discussion boards, you greatly increase the chance that they will not only book a session, but they will also write a review (duh).
TER used to respect the request of a lady to be delisted from the site and not have any reviews posted or a profile. That is no longer true. The only way to not allow reviews/not have a profile on TER now is to remove your website and all ads from the internet. If you have an internet presence, they WILL publish reviews of you whether you have a "no review" policy or not. I got this information straight from TER when I asked them about ladies having "no review" policies posted on their websites.
Quote:
Hi,
If the provider advertises on the web, and receives a review, we will post the review (if it meets TER criteria).
Thank you for the support,
--TER Support Staff
Delisted providers are not allowed to participate on the TER discussion boards, whether self-delisted or banned.

Re: To Have Or Not To Have Reviews On TER, AdultFax, NaughtyReviews, Etc.
I guess I would add a line to every post that 'I am not VIP so please private message via my email at [email protected]', but as the above poster pointed out, likely there will be reviews also posted. (and most TER guys will be noting that they made you come 42 times...) ;-)
Also keep in mind that many TER members go in and out of basic / VIP membership, so for many it is just a basic check to verify that the lady is real and reliable, not LE, and 'a step above BackPage'. basic Members can't see the rating value, pricing or the list of 'activities', and can only read the basic part of the review. (But most guys say if they will repeat or not in that section.) ...and with the present state of NSA monitoring and admitted LE infiltration I wouldn't be surprised if there are more 'lurkers' / basic members than those posting reviews....

Re: To Have Or Not To Have Reviews On TER, AdultFax, NaughtyReviews, Etc.
I'd get away from naughtyreviews completely they have made a complete cluster fuck of that site and are now banning members who dislike the changes

Re: To Have Or Not To Have Reviews On TER, AdultFax, NaughtyReviews, Etc.
Have you ever thought about posting on Eros? I'm a fellow Bodyrub provider as well but what I do is post an ad with a link to my website, that way they can book through my site and there is a page where they can leave reviews but I make sure to post a disclaimer above the review form about having etiquette & being tasteful when leaving reviews also that way I can manage the reviews because they're on my site & sometimes I even offer incentives.
-
Re: To Have Or Not To Have Reviews On TER, AdultFax, NaughtyReviews, Etc.
I may be echoing some people here but TER does in fact allow providers to advertise without being reviewed on their site. There are a number of stipulations to follow, including having a banner located on the front page of your website. If your ad hasn't gone active, check your posted ads under "My TER". They always list a reason for denial. It took me damn near 5 tries to get it right!
What I've noticed with advertising on TER is that potential clients will almost always ask you for your reviews in when contacting you. I personally don't have any. 1- My clientele is not active on message boards or TER and 2 - After reading the full federal complaint against AC, I am HIGHLY wary of doing too much on TER. AC's TER profile was one of the key components in establishing their case against them. Knowing that these sorts of investigations sometimes take years to complete before charges being filed, I am pretty sure there is something already brewing. I just don't trust it.
Not having review WILL lose you some clients. That's just a reality. But with the proper marketing and good communication you can get around it. I personally don't think it's worth it, you're just implicating yourself by having a review page. And they are so hard, if not impossible to control. I've heard nightmare stories from girlfriends about pissed clients leaving really messed up, defamatory reviews.

Re: To Have Or Not To Have Reviews On TER, AdultFax, NaughtyReviews, Etc.
Bestgfe is a review forum that has good traffic. I post there. It's not as big as TER, but its members are savvy, and when intel of a good provider is posted, that provider can have a constant and steady stream of clients going to see her.
-
Re: To Have Or Not To Have Reviews On TER, AdultFax, NaughtyReviews, Etc.
BestGFE is a good site, but it's more popular in different geographical regions. When I was touring West, BestGFE was unheard of.

Re: To Have Or Not To Have Reviews On TER, AdultFax, NaughtyReviews, Etc.
But it seems without reviews/ agency it is hard to get bookings

Re: To Have Or Not To Have Reviews On TER, AdultFax, NaughtyReviews, Etc.
I'm curious why you guys are so anti-reviews?
My business is based on my reviews-- 70% of my bookings at this point are two hours, and it's all because of my reviews. I get clients who want to book me all the time because of my reviews, I push EVERYONE to leave me one and it's done nothing but increase my calls. And it's definitely not just independents, the agency I'm thinking of trying out also pushes clients to leave reviews....

Hopefully things are much nicer in the UK than they are in the US.
The best case scenario review board, TER, creates a pile of documentation declaring that one is a prostitute (in a country where this is illegal!) and requires that reviews go into nauseatingly explicit detail. Even the 'benevolent' hobbyists write these disgusting reviews, and the nastier ones are pieces of shit who do everything they can to tear a girl down and get her to lower her rates. TER also ties 'performance' ratings to certain sex acts (BBBJ and anal being the most egregious), which has made the work unsafe for many of us in hobbyist overrun areas. It gets much much worse with other boards, such as ECCIE and USASexGuide.

Re: To Have Or Not To Have Reviews On TER, AdultFax, NaughtyReviews, Etc.
If you join like eccie or TER get used to the idea that the so called hobbyists all think you should blow them for like 50 and fuck for like 100. Most are cheapskates and you can make more stripping!
