What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
I work 3 days a week and my nightly goal is $500 (I set a $350 minimum if it's slow). I always stay if I feel like making more and I leave if I'm not feeling the right vibe. I prefer working smart to working hard and my hustle is still something I am cultivating.
Money is obviously the main motivator, and since I'm living rent-free right now, saving money and getting new piercings and tattoos are on the list as well. Also, saving long term for an eventual business and a years worth of living expenses when I get my apartment soon.
Yay! Share share share!

Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
I usually only work once or twice a week, so I don't really have a weekly goal, though I guess I expect a grand if I work twice in one week. My Tuesday day shift goal is $600 and Saturday day shift is $400. I also like when my shift average is $100/hour.
My motivation is literally just having more money. I have a vanilla job that covers living expenses and some savings, so dancing money is mostly fun money (and groceries, but I love grocery shopping so it's kind of fun money anyway lol) and saving up for future travel.

Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
There isn't a whole lot of money in my city (annoyingly), so I usually aim for about $3-400 a night. It does depend on the night though - I expect to make more on a Friday than a Tuesday.
My budgeting is based on $1000 a week - I work anywhere from 2-4 nights a week. I tend to set my goals low, so that they are easily achievable, and I'm not stressing about not hitting my goals. I also cam, so I don't work every night or long shifts. The idea is to hit 2K a week between the two jobs.
Motivation? Being debt free!!!

Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
My weekly goal is to make 1,500 a week which is very possible for me during the right season.
I try to make 500 a night so that way I only have to work 3 nights a week however may take on more shifts if things are going a little slow. I honestly don’t like to work more than 3 nights a week though that way I won’t get burnt out easily.

Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
I work day shift in a low money city, so my goal is $150 a shift. I don't really care about the money all that much at this time, so I also have some fitness goals I try to reach while I'm at work. I want to get my bodyfat percentage down below 17% (currently at 20%), so I'll do things like squats and lunges in the dressing room if there is no money to be made. Frequently there are no customers in the club for several hours during my shift, so I get an excellent workout on those days. :)

Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
Nightly goal Thurs -Sat $600, weekly goal depends on if I'm going anywhere or want something special. Then maybe I'll work more lol
-
Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
Mon- $500 minimum, Wed-Thurs- $1000 obviously that's what I'd like to make but sometimes I make above or below that. Just depends.

Why do I feel like we work in the same city? :p

Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
I work 3 nights a week thurs to Saturdays and I aim for 2500 at the end of the week lots of times it's doable sometimes I go over sometimes a little under but I mostly manage to get most of it

Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
Holy crap, reading this made me realize how horrendous my club and city is.
I work about 3 nights a week and my weekly goal is $1600. Thursdays I aim for $400, and $600 is the magic number for Fridays and Saturdays. And I'm one of the consistent top earners at my club, eck.

That doesn't sound horrendous to me. There's nothing wrong with $500 a shift - that's great, and there's not many jobs where you can make that much in such a short amount of time, so don't feel bad!
-
Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
^ exactly, don't feel bad! 400-600 is very good, that's what i usually make as well. 1600 a week is NOT SHABBY!! especially working part time? yeah.don't feel bad!

Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
I have a lot of anxiety about working (I'm a misophonic introvert who puts on a fantastic façade and b-b-b-banks!), so I never set a goal. Every night is so different - the number of girls working, the number of customers through the door - that I don't see the point in setting a goal. I trust myself to work as hard as I'm capable of working whenever I go in. I know I'm doing the best I can do, so setting a goal is a bit pointless for me personally.

Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
I'm socially awkward so I'm a very lazy dancer (in a slowish club). I used to be thrilled if I made $100 per night, especially after gaining some baby weight. But now I'm gaining confidence with my new figure and get a sad face if I make less than $200 a night. I work 2 or 3 nights. Thursday is hit or miss so I aim for $100-150, Friday and Saturday $250 and up. I'd consider myself a middle earner at my club, but I remain consistent or above my goals.

Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
I'm like charlie--I'm very introverted and deal with anxiety. My weekly goals aren't measured in dollar signs so much as how often I go in. I try to work full 7-8 hour shifts at least twice a week, but three would be better. I don't take long breaks and try to stay motivated and positive throughout. When I'm ready to go home, I try to make another round and find $100 more. It seems to be working better for me than thinking I need to make $x/week, no questions asked.
And my motivation is paying off about $12k of debt, and building some savings to put money down on a house. I am a party animal.

idk i think i may be in a low earning city $100-$300/midshift working 4-6 hours is doable here but I am really thinking I need to go venture where the grass may be greener on the other side

Gurl, if you can make $300 in four hours on a midshift (minimal bullshit, friendlier staff, calmer customers, more regulars, fewer partiers), more power to you! That's good money.

Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
So many interesting answers, I love all of them! Thank you! Everyone is so different in how they work, this is why I love strippers/ stripping! We all go about it in our own way.

Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
Oooh I'm late to the thread :(
Daily... right now since I'm just getting back into the game after a few months off, and now I have a full-blown anxiety issue to deal with, I'm gonna try a short 3 hour shift, take whatever I make and try to increase it by $10 each shift (so one more dance each shift)... trying to slowly reacclimate!
Monthly... I am both lazy and really busy (totally contradicting, I know). As long as I make enough to cover all my bills (about $1k) and have some spending money and a little to set into savings, I'm happy. If I can accomplish that in 3 shifts, it's pretty likely that I'll just dip out for the rest of the month. I know I should be maximizing my money, but I would rather be out enjoying my hobbies/friends and getting straight As.
Overall... I will probably kick it up a notch next semester when my class load lightens down to 9 credits and "season" kicks in. I would like to have my credit cards paid off ($2800) and enough saved to make triple the minimum payments on my student loans for at least a year... then I don't have to worry about high pay at a job right away and can get some of that ish paid down.

Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
Around Winter/Spring this year I was really hellbent on having nightly goals. Then season started getting worse, I wasn't making those goals, and I felt super crappy about it.
At this point, similar to Charlie and tuesdaymarie, I just try and make myself go in at least once a week (my vanilla work, thankfully, took off this summer).
My motivation is to save money to go to grad school next year, fund my travel addiction, and hold out for that random, infrequent KICK ASS night where you land a whale and hit 1-1.5k. Those nights, though so few and far between for me at this point, make the shitty nights worth it.
Also, on nights where it's suuuuper slow, or there are WAY too many girls for the number of customers (ahem, last night!!), I focus on having fun instead. It may not be the most business-savvy thing to do, but at that point if I only walk out with $100 after fees, then I just feel like I got paid to party and I'm not too hard on myself. :D

Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
I've always been a pretty crappy stripper because making money has never been my priority. I mean, hey-when it happens, great! But I'm not the type to go out of my way to try to make it happen. WTF is wrong with me, right?
So i don't set goals, and am perfectly happy with whatever I make. Be it one dollar or a thousand dollars. And dude, it's bizarro because me not caring about making money pisses some of my coworkers SO much. It makes no sense to me.
I do have goals in terms of actual dancing though! I don't know if that counts, lol.

Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
If I'm not ballin or if I'm not feeling super motivated to hustle, I will set small, attainable goals throughout the night to keep me going. For example, if it's the beginning of the night and I haven't made much yet I will tell myself that once I sell a VIP I can go have a snack or check my phone. Small goals keep me going.
Also I rarely count my money until the end of the night. If I really need motivation and there's an hour or so left, I will count my money and then set an amount to hit or go above. But normally I like to just shove it all in my box and then counting at the end is like a special treat. I think the anticipation of counting a fat stack of cash works pretty well to motivate me.

That's really smart, all of it. I feel like that sort of motivation could work well for me. Especially the "surprise" stack of cash at the end of the shift.... and if it's much less than I hoped, I can challenge myself to go bust out another $50 or $100 before I'm "allowed" to go home.
Soooo stealing this.
